30/04/2025: Cena galattica! Personale super cortese e accogliente, aperitivo di benvenuto e atmosfera tipica molto molto carina. Abbiamo preso il menù degustazione, favoloso il formaggio di fossa con cioccolato fondente, al pari dei tortelli di pane. Come secondo salame cotto con aceto e cipolle. Per finire l'immancabile Palacinka. Vino della casa molto gradevole. Da provare di sicuro se siete a Gorizia.

16/12/2025: We ate at the restaurant as a group of 40. We had a great time, both in terms of service and the quality and quantity of the dishes, and the price was fair.
There were vegetarians among us, and they found an alternative menu for us without any problem.
The gubana for breakfast and dessert 😋, made on site, were also excellent.
Helpful staff. Recommended place, we'll definitely be back.
29/10/2025: I spent two nights at the Casa del Pellegrino in Castelmonte and had a truly wonderful time.
The property is in a splendid, quiet, and panoramic location, with a breathtaking view. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and quiet, perfect for those seeking relaxation.
The staff was extremely kind and always available, making the stay even more pleasant.
An ideal place to unwind, visit the Sanctuary, and enjoy the peace of the Friulian hills.

16/08/2025: I've never had the opportunity to dine at Taverna dell'Urogallo, but my experience began with an al fresco breakfast where I enjoyed some truly delicious homemade tarts. Since then, every time I visit Piancavallo, this has become a regular stop. The last time I visited, the talented Lorenzo literally won me over with an irresistible array of desserts: I couldn't help but try them all! It's thanks to this experience that I've decided to give the place a well-deserved five-star review. A special thanks to Lorenzo also for the superb tiramisu, made unique by a secret ingredient I won't reveal... but which I invite everyone to discover for themselves.

servizio gentile ma sbrigativo, probabilmente perché sempre affollato
La location è bella sia interno che esterno.
16 € per un hamburger mi aspetto altro in dimensioni e ingredienti, plauso per il pane fatto in casa.

20/09/2025: The service was long, €3 for a small bag of bread for five people. The chicken salad was tasty, but the portions were very small (just three chicken strips). The sandwich was not particularly good.
The atmosphere of the place, which is well-kept, is worth saving.

12/10/2025: We sat down for lunch with a group of friends. The menu included soup (Tortellini soup), main course (Boletus tagliatelle), dessert (Profiterol - chocolate, vanilla and pistachio). Local "craft beer" was the thirst quencher. Clean, nice environment with delicious food. We had to wait for a table because we came in from the street. We didn't have to wait long. Recommended category and place!

02/09/2025: We went in to ask if they had Sacher Torte, which unfortunately they don't sell, so we just had a coffee (very good). The owner was very kind in recommending some pastry shops where we could try Sacher Torte, and we had a lovely chat.

18/11/2025: I happened to be at this place last summer to call back some people from a group because our bus was leaving. I didn't have time to order, but since one person still had to use the restroom, I figured I could use it too, especially since several of our group had already consumed several drinks. I was rudely and arrogantly called back, "Where are you going?" I thanked them for their rudeness.

But, alas, at those prices, the dishes should be more generous and more flavorful, including the homemade desserts.
29/07/2025: We went for dinner about ten days ago, returning from a mountain bike tour. There were about ten of us. The place is clean and well-kept, with an outdoor patio and ample parking. The menu is carefully curated, with a good variety of traditional dishes, and the prices are reasonable. The owner went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. We had a great time and enjoyed the food at a fair price. I will definitely be back.

13/12/2025: The spaghetti with clams and mussels was well-cooked but not very generously sized. The sauce was cold, as if it had just been drizzled on top and not properly sautéed. The sauce was sparse and rather watery. The mixed fried fish was nothing special, just the usual standard fare. We paid €35 with a glass of house wine. It wasn't worth it.
03/11/2025: The place is very homey and the food is special. Very fresh fish and fast service. To be top notch, the desserts would need to be improved and then it would be the best. I will definitely be back.

04/11/2025: I arrive around 10:00 PM for dinner and am greeted by the owner, who yells and screams inappropriately, telling me in a surprised tone that the restaurant is closed, making me look stupid because I didn't notice the lights were slightly dimmed. This is not the way to treat a customer; it's too arrogant and rude. If you close at 10:00 PM and not 10:30 PM as you suggested, lock the door to avoid making such a fool of yourself.
