28/05/2025: Bad experience here. Staff is friendly, but robotic. Like others, at the end of our vacation, tired, just want one more nice meal. Unfortunately, we didn’t have any luck here. My wife’s spaghetti/ carbonara was average- she picked out all of the bacon- since it was basically raw/ way undercooked. Our waiter put in the wrong pizza, even though I clearly showed him which one that he confirmed with the correct pronunciation. So, after talking with a co worker or the manager- hard to tell- the waiter says they can make correct pizza. Sorta making me feel like they’re doing me a favor. Of course, after 20 minutes and my wife completely done with her pasta- here comes the correct pizza, crust is burnt to a crisp- obviously rushed the order. We’re 45 minutes in, probably not going to ask for a redo at this point. Most establishments would comp the meal. Not the case here- Another irritating thing is they have a 3 euro/person cover charge for the privilege of sitting through the above experience.

13/05/2025: Truly a very good choice 👌🏻 the Hotel Ristorante Pizzeria "Al Posta" ⭐️⭐️⭐️, a valid structure where we had lunch last Sunday as part of our day trip to Casarsa. Arriving on site at 12.30 🕧 after booking 📞, we parked 🚘 almost in front of the entrance since on holidays ✝️ the parking spaces 🅿️ along via Valvasone are free 🆓️. Once we crossed the access tunnel we were immediately very impressed 😮 by the splendid internal courtyard (see photos 📸 attached 📎) which the restaurant also overlooks. We soon reached 🚶🏻🚶🏻‍♀️🚶🏼‍♀️ the latter (there is a separate entrance from the hotel) meeting a manager 👩🏻 who immediately accompanied us to our table at the back of the room and then offered us a welcome prosecco 🥂 (alternatively, a non-alcoholic drink was also available 🍹). Here we also met the person who seemed to us to be the head waiter, a kind and distinguished boy 🧑🏻 who, very cordially, gave us the price lists 📋 and then collected our order. The choice fell on three first courses based on busiate (with the flavors "Sicilian pesto", "speck/pistachios" and "Trapanese") and as many appetizers (raw ham platter, Friulian appetizer and grilled frico) served as second courses. To drink, a liter of sparkling water 💧 and three glasses of red 🍷 (two Cabernet Sauvignon and one Franc). Everything was really tasty 😋 and the portions were generous too. Of particular note, the creaminess of the sauce for my busiate (a type of pasta originally from Trapani) based on speck and pistachios, in addition to the perfect balance between flavor and delicacy. Also worthy of note, however, were the mushrooms 🍄 in a frico crust (part of the Friulian appetizer) and, more generally, all the other dishes. To conclude, a couple of desserts (chocolate cake with a soft heart and salted caramel cheesecake) and three espresso coffees ☕️. Impeccable 🔝 the service offered by the kind members of staff, with a special mention for the very kind manager 🧑🏻 mentioned above. With the same I then paid the bill at the counter by card 💳 (by the way, excellent value for money by virtue of the 107.50 euros 💶 total). Bathrooms 🚾 clean and tidy 🚽🧻🧴. As mentioned, the very green 🌳🪴 internal courtyard is splendid, equipped with tables, chairs, wooden benches made with pallets and a large pergola for outdoor events (there was in fact one in progress). Strategic location in the immediate vicinity of the "Pier Paolo Pasolini" Study Center, the main center of interest in the center of Casarsa and, not by chance, our afternoon destination. We definitely liked it so WE PROMOTE IT WITH FULL MARKS 💯.
14/03/2025: Servizio eccellente grazie a ragazzi meravigliosi. Una serata con amici, mangiato bene, sia pizza che primi piatti. Ciò che ha fatto la differenza è stata però la serietà e competenza che Jary ha dimostrato nel servizio, sempre molto cordiale e gentile; ci ha accontentato in tutte le nostre richieste (che sono state molte…) e col supporto di Daniel, anche lui molto cordiale e professionale, la nostra serata è stata veramente piacevole, come il conto: adeguato e onesto. Consigliatissimo !!

06/10/2024: We arrived at this restaurant a little "desperate" because the two restaurants nearby that we wanted to try were full and having a hungry little child there was no time to look elsewhere. The waitress who welcomed us was very kind but, unfortunately, this alone cannot make up for the rest of the evening. At the table we were not given a menu but it was read to us by the waitress which, in my opinion, causes more than one problem 1. I can't take a few minutes to calmly choose what to have, having a clear idea of ​​what the menu includes, without having to ask the waitress several times "wait, what was the second first course you said?" 2. I have no visibility of the prices of the dishes I am ordering and I find this very incorrect 3. if you also add that the waitress is foreign, the result is that you are also embarrassed to say to her "as an excuse? What did you say?" more than twice, so you give up on understanding half the menu and then go home wondering "but what were the tagliatelle with chicken in the end?". Having overcome this initial obstacle we ordered and what arrived were some tagliolini with San Daniele (with what looked like cream) which were very dry, a frico with polenta which looked more like a piece of melted cheese, some chips which were certainly fried in still cold oil, so they just tasted of oil, and the entrana with potatoes, described as a succulent cut that can be eaten with the preferred cooking method (which in my case is rare) and instead two whole slices of meat arrived at the table on top of the valerian salad which gave a lot the idea of ​​two shoe soles thrown on top of the salad, with the cooking decidedly NOT rare. It must be said that there was nothing left on the plates because we were hungry, so I'm not saying that everything was inedible. I also don't like it when at the end of the evening the waitress asks "did you eat well? Was the meat good?" answer "NO" because in any case there are people who work behind it, who may have had a bad day etc and in the heat of the moment I may not be so diplomatic, so I prefer to say that everything went well, pay the bill and leave knowing that I will never set foot again in that restaurant... This is why I don't really like to review a place negatively, I prefer to review things that have particularly impressed me in a positive way.. But in this case I decided to leave a review because, in addition to everything that went wrong, I discovered (only after the receipt was issued) that I had paid 22 euros for those two shoe soles and it particularly annoyed me! Looking back we could guess how the evening would go from the fact that the restaurants around were full and this one only had our table occupied...

02/12/2024: Una vera Osteria, dove passare momenti spensierati con chi si desidera: potete portare chiunque alla Polsade perché farete solo bella figura (amici, famiglia, partner, affari). Il cibo è squisito con un menu chiaro e semplice scritto alla lavagna. Noi eravamo una tavola da 10 persone: dagli abbondanti tagliolini alla San Daniele alla pasta profumatissima ai porcini , dal frico sensazionale al guanciale da urlo, dalla polenta davvero buona con tutte le verdure fatte come a casa, al caffè fatto con amore tutti abbiamo pulito i piatti! Ci è dispiaciuto dover andare via di fretta perché avevamo un evento di beneficenza importante, visto che Mario si è seduto con noi e ha condiviso momenti di vita delicati come quelli che andavamo a sostenere noi nel pomeriggio. Davvero una persona accogliente e sensibile, ti fa sentire come a casa. Torneremo per goderci un po' con calma e farci coccolare dalle streghe: gliene regaleremo anche noi una appena possibile. Grazie di tutto!
21/09/2024: Osteria caratteristica, menù giornaliero esposto su lavagna nel quale si ritrovano piatti semplici e tipici della cucina locale. Una menzione per le paste, abbondanti ma preparate con sapienza e ingredienti freschi, senza risultare assolutamente pesanti! Ottimo il frico e squisito il tiramisù. Servizio cordiale e simpatico, prezzo onestissimo. Bravi.

27/04/2025: We used this bar as a stopover on our bike tour. We got a place under a parasol without any problem. The order was friendly and quick. The snacks we ordered were tasty and the portions were reasonable. The price of €5.5 for the toast or a panini was not excessive for the location.
