11/04/2026: Beautiful apartment and would be a nice location if not for a nightclub right across the street. It's IMPOSSIBLE TO SLEEP on a Saturday. They are blasting music so loud you feel like you're in the middle of the club. Definitely would not recommend to someone who actually wants a peaceful weekend

18/03/2026: I'm grateful for the owner's kindness and helpfulness. He spontaneously resolved a mixup with Booking.com. Since he couldn't confirm my reservation, he found me an alternative with the same price and conditions and went out of his way to facilitate my transition.

16/07/2026: I went to this place to attend a fashion show, I had a booked table, I asked the person in charge to show me the table assigned to us (5) and without giving importance to the list she told me that there was no reservation after having checked better she showed me the table almost annoyed (made up of 2 tables of 4 placed next to each other). So I stopped to exchange a few words with a person and when we went to our table I saw it occupied and the employee from before, when I asked why the table was occupied since it was reserved for us, replied that it had been given to important people so she relegated us to a table for 4 at that point there were 6 of us no longer 5, cramped and without the possibility of dining since there would not be any courses on that small table, so we only had drinks and after the fashion show we had dinner in another place which was much more deserving. If someone told me this is their table then they don't give it to others it's called discrimination, unprofessional, I don't recommend it

08/06/2026: Reservation by phone no problem although my Italian is lousy. Antipasti, primi, secondi & dessert + bootle of vino bianco very delicious. A nice experience worth the € 100! Again, next time in Trieste.

With Paolo, everything becomes possible...while enjoying Paolo's excellent dishes, you suddenly find yourself in an extraordinary dimension between past and present...all accompanied by beautiful music that permeates the restaurant. The table you're sitting at feels like home, and you feel like you've known Paolo and his guests forever. If you're lucky, fate will lead you to Alla Valle. P.S. 20/02/2026: Friendly and very helpful service. Especially for a non- Italian speaker. Simple delicious food. Popular with those working nearby. Very good value. A modern functional dining room, a bit like a canteen but absolutely nothing wrong with that. I will keep going again and again

13/06/2026: The location is beautiful, we ate well, and the service was good. For the price, I would have expected more attention to detail (the table was without a tablecloth and paper napkins), and there was no lighting whatsoever.

The service is excellent – ​​the staff are friendly and attentive, ensuring guests feel completely at ease. Overall, there is a very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere where you immediately feel comfortable and well cared for.

12/07/2026: The Prosciutto San Daniele Riserva was spectacular, as was the tagliolini (also made with San Daniele). The tagliata was good. The service was excellent, recommending the best wine to pair with the Prosciutto. For everything I ate and drank, it was good value.

I like to indulge in the seasonal changes, which show a lot of care, dedication, and selection, but it's the classics that really shine, and the cappuccino remains my favorite: the best I've ever tasted, truly. A small note to the staff, very kind, cheerful, and helpful: it's nice when you receive a smile along with the service 💌

15/06/2026: A large bar with a wide selection of products and military insignia. They also sell cigarettes. The staff is quite fast but never smiles; they seem unhappy with serving customers, only chatting with a few regulars. Coffee is reasonably priced. They're 200 meters from the Shrine.

26/04/2026: Located a short distance from the Resipuglia shrine, it offers excellent sandwiches with good products, as well as selling tobacco and military items!
