28/06/2025: We went to dinner at this restaurant because we were looking for something typical, a standard place with fair prices, the waiter was kind and the service was fast. We ate outside and ordered two legumes and cereals risotto, frico served with polenta, snails bourguignon and a side of vegetables, water and two glasses of wine. We ate quite well, the dishes were nothing special we thought we would eat better and with more taste. The bathrooms are a bit small and quite clean. Overall nothing that could be some other similar place better at the same price. I will start by saying that we chose this place because the menu displayed had vegan options.

28/08/2025: A true discovery in Marano! At JO Bistrot, every dish is a tribute to the sea. The seafood salad is incredibly fresh and fragrant, the mixed fried fish is light and crispy, and the grilled calamari with polenta is simply unforgettable. Sincere compliments to the chef, who manages to enhance every ingredient with passion and mastery. You can sense his love for cooking in every detail. The service is welcoming and attentive, the atmosphere warm and convivial. A restaurant that conquers the heart and the palate: I can't wait to return!

10/07/2025: Nice, reasonably well-kept streetside setting, close to the town center. Air-conditioned inside tables. Outdoor tables are also available. They offer both restaurant and hotel service. The staff is friendly and reasonably knowledgeable. We had a pizza with good ingredients, but it was a bit heavy, with a slightly under-risen dough and difficult to digest. The tomato and garlic pizza was a surprise, and it was really good considering the ingredients. The fish was decent. The first courses were okay. The fried food was okay. Parking was limited nearby. Prices were average.

22/06/2025: This bar is portrayed by German journalist Stefan Maiwald in his book "My Bar in Venice" as an authentic bar in Grado. I read the book and recently visited the bar. For a small lunch, I called it "un pranzo." Perhaps several people had read the book, because the bar was packed with tourists. This is hardly surprising in June in Grado, especially since the bar is only 100 meters from the main entrance to the beach. By 1 p.m., only a few dishes were left on the daily menu. That's OK, too, and speaks for freshly prepared dishes. I opted for sour sardines. Sardines are usually very good in Italy, even from the can at the supermarket. You can't go wrong with that. With olive oil and bread, it's a tasty, light lunch. Not so at da Pino. There were a considerable number of sardines on the plate, but certainly not olive oil. But they were swimming in some kind of oil. I suspect sunflower oil. In any case, they were a disappointment, and that's putting it very politely. My stomach didn't have a good time after that. I've enjoyed many canned sardines in extra virgin olive oil. The staff were quick and friendly, but (despite the many pictures on the wooden walls) it was a tourist restaurant, and not cheap. So I think the 3 stars is a fair rating. Just average tourist fare in Grado. I didn't see much authenticity other than a regulars' table with what appeared to be locals. It's not a must-try. There are much better bars near the beach.

22/08/2025: Pizzeria Concordia has become a historic restaurant in Udine. The food is excellent and the service is superb. Gigi is always attentive and gets everyone working quickly and efficiently. I go there often and highly recommend it.

20/08/2025: A wonderful restaurant. Delicious food with gluten-free options. The menu also lists all allergens. The service is also top-notch, with a great sense of humor. You can feel the high quality and freshness of the products. I wholeheartedly recommend it! The best restaurant in Udine!

02/08/2025: A 10-star review is deserved for this farmhouse, starting with the staff, who are always kind and attentive in any circumstance, moving on to the incredibly delicious food, the homemade bread, and the very welcoming place. I highly recommend it.

09/08/2025: Lasagna was an attempt at a joke. It's definitely a portion for a small child, not for an adult. The waiter doesn't like paying by card and will make you wait for 20 minutes to punish you. He prefers cash, where he disappears with the money and "as if" forgets the expense. The food was tasty otherwise good.

15/07/2025: Very classy, warm and cozy atmosphere for this small little restaurant. They open the kitchen early and you can arrive for dinner or simply have an apertivo from 18.00! The food is great, wine paring is amazing and the service impeccable, al for a very reasonable price. They manage to custom tale a 5 course menu ( for 2 ) so that you always get something different even if you go there often. The cost quality is definitely one of the best in town! The only small “downside” I can find is that they sometimes lack in consistency and the same dish sometimes is not as the previous time you eat it. Witch can be disappointing if you really want to eat that same thing again because it was That good 😊!!!

20/08/2025: The rooms have ceiling fans, which is much better than air conditioning. Most rooms have a balcony, ours had a mountain view, it's quiet and peaceful, a small village, and lots of storage space in the rooms.
