03/11/2025: I'm not saying it was a bad experience but I definitely won't be returning. The dishes were cold, starting with the starters made of polenta and cheese. We ordered 5 first courses and the tagliatelle were crumbled and cold. We waited more than 5 minutes for the other first courses which were always cold, but while we were waiting they brought us the chips we had asked for as a side dish. The rabbit was good but it didn't cover up the disaster of the lunch. Finally, we asked for a second bottle of water and they didn't have any still water, it ran out and they brought it in a jug...🥴

02/11/2025: If you're looking for an authentic trattoria, one that seems to have come from another era, this is perfect. It's nestled in the countryside, with a slightly dark and rustic interior, just as you'd expect from such a place. The atmosphere is quiet, no frills. The food? Beautifully hearty and flavorful, as it should be. Rooster is the specialty: served in sauce with pasta or baked, serious fare. I had the tripe, and finally... it REALLY tasted like tripe! I hadn't had such a good one in years. We washed it all down with the house wine, simple but good. The price is a bit high, but that's okay: the quality is evident. The service is relaxed, not super fast, but kind and professional. There are also tables outside, shaded by plants—it must be wonderful in the summer. Be warned: it's best to reserve, as they're often full. There aren't many seats inside, so it's best to be safe.

28/08/2025: My wife and I stayed at this agriturismo for a week from August 16th to 23rd. The location is truly beautiful, on a hill almost completely isolated from the village, with a fantastic view immersed in a relaxing silence. The property is well-maintained and the room truly clean. The staff was extremely kind and friendly. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. The restaurant, open Thursday through Sunday, offers truly delicious dishes, and from the veranda you can eat while admiring the stunning view. We had a wonderful time, also because it was in a strategic position for our mountain excursions and visits to the towns and cities of Friuli. We highly recommend it.

18/10/2025: A good place. I've been there for lunch, so I assume the menu is more basic, as it caters mostly to workers. The evening menu will definitely be more extensive, but honestly, I've never been there.

16/10/2025: In February of last year I asked to work there and was told that they needed my CV. After seeing the service of some waiters, I would say that something doesn't add up.

04/12/2025: Antico Caffè Torinese is a beautiful public space where you can enjoy your morning coffee and read the newspapers while being served by friendly, relaxed, and welcoming people. What more could you ask for from a café in a tourist area? Nothing, just this. Splendid. Autumn 2025.

04/11/2025: A trattoria with a unique style. A very welcoming atmosphere with a large fireplace. The food was quite good, with very home-style cooking. We had a great time, but I highly recommend it.

20/10/2025: A bit hard to find due to construction. Typical Italian pizza and fish dishes. The food was quite good, but the ambiance took some getting used to.

14/12/2025: A venerable old coffee house, where you can still feel the charm of the bygone Austro-Hungarian era. The service staff is friendly and competent. If you're looking for a "stylish" establishment, this isn't the place for you. The adjoining bookstore is also worth seeing and reading. The lunch menu is also worth mentioning: typical Triestine dishes prepared and served with care.

15/12/2025: We tried the €70 per person tasting menu and the experience was truly excellent and enjoyable. ✨ Tasting Dishes ​The journey was a crescendo of interesting flavors and bold combinations, culminating in a flawless trio of desserts. ​Appetizers: ​Sea Bream Carpaccio with Coconut Cream and Lovage Oil: An extraordinary start. The delicacy of the sea bream meets the exotic sweetness of the coconut and the aromatic freshness of the lovage oil. A perfect combination of flavors. ​Venison Tartare, Giardiniera, Crescenza Cream, and Olive Terra: An amazing dish. The venison was completely delicate, surprisingly free of the expected "gamey" flavor, beautifully balanced by the savory flavor of the giardiniera and olives. Truly an excellent execution. ​Mushrooms, Potato Foam, Kimchi, Mayonnaise, and Yuzu Sphere: An excellent combination. The combination of the earthiness of the mushrooms and the fermented, savory touch of the kimchi was very balanced and intriguing, thanks to the citrusy note of the yuzu. ​First and Second Courses ​Parsley and Garlic Risotto with Snails: A rustic yet elegant first course, very well executed and flavorful. ​Octopus on a Cream of Celeriac and Puntarelle: A dish that never disappoints. Simple, but the cooking of the octopus and the bitterness of the puntarelle combined with the sweetness of the celeriac make it a winner. ​Desserts ​The meal concluded with a trio of high-quality desserts: ​Sorbet Sample ​Crème Catalana with Tonka Beans: Excellent! The tonka beans lend a spicy, vanilla-like aroma that elevates the classic crème Catalana. Chocolate Fondant Chips with Coffee Bavarian Cream 🤵 Service and Atmosphere ​The atmosphere is pleasant and the setting is refined. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive, helping to make the experience relaxing and professional. ​Only note: It's a shame we couldn't opt ​​for a wine pairing by the glass for the courses; maybe next time! ​Petes is highly recommended. It was a pleasant discovery, and we'll definitely be back to try other dishes we saw on the menu, like the Marrowbone, which piqued our curiosity. The wine list I consulted was excellent.

15/11/2025: Welcoming and friendly staff. Varied menu. Delicious fish and fried foods. The pizza is well-cooked and doesn't linger, and it's also very flavorful and made with delicious ingredients. Very easy to reach on the Napoleonica highway. Great for stopping for a drink or dinner, as happened tonight. I'll be back.
