07/07/2025: frankly I was sorry to receive a plate of ham with slices that were 4 to 5 cm (almost squares). The slices had a fat ratio of 50 to 60%. in the middle of the plate, a long slice, from another ham. ok the ham-cheese-poppy seed pasta. They didn't ask me how I found it, or I would have politely mentioned it at the cashier. Instead I waited for them to finish talking animatedly about their work.

16/06/2025: The 5 stars are well deserved I would have given 6 stars, the food has been homemade and outstandingly delicious. The service has been perfect to the fingertips. This restaurant deserves 5 stars, i would have given 6 stars. The dinner has been homemade and outstandingly prepared. The service has been of the highest league. Bravo

31/05/2025: Thank you for the good food and the sophisticated, friendly service! Going out to dinner in Lignano without a reservation (on a Saturday) is a real adventure. It was difficult, but Al Piccolo Cason made it possible. A cozy restaurant, a varied menu, and very good service. The prosciutto with burrata (starter) was excellent, the spaghetti vongole and carbonara were outstanding, and the prosecco was cold. All in all, a culinary delight with a fine ambiance.

03/04/2025: Excellent venue! Delicious cooked food, friendly staff, clean place, good prices! As soon as I pass by I can't help but stop to get a cooked sandwich with mustard and kren.

01/07/2025: A small farm in the middle of nowhere. They cook and bake from their own produce. The portions are not gigantic, but neither are the prices, but the food is filling. The goulash here is a little different, but it tastes very good. The waiter (I think he's in his 60s) speaks a little German, a little English, and is nice and cheerful. It was nice to sit down after the 30 degrees in the city for a little bit at 21 degrees, in the wind. It was refreshing. If you're going this way, stop for a drink or a cold plate, because they have that too, with divine cheese.

28/06/2025: We visited Malga Tratten while passing through on our way to Austria. The menu is concise and offers a variety of homemade dishes. Our portions weren't huge, but perfectly adequate. The prices are perfectly reasonable. The hosts are friendly; one of the gentlemen even speaks a little German. In the small shop right next to the restaurant, you can browse regional products: cheese, salami, bacon, milk, eggs, jams, and spirits. We were able to try the cheese and limoncello. We can definitely recommend the restaurant. The view is magnificent.

24/04/2025: We had dinner at the tavern and had a very good time. The environment is very nice, full of historical memorabilia and other vintage objects. The lady who served us was very attentive. The dishes were excellent and plentiful. The price was adequate.

03/07/2025: Small place that exudes a lot of history. Few dishes but of good quality, the service is friendly suitable for such a typical place. The advice is to integrate a paper menu with the oral presentation of the dishes. Overall a positive experience.

25/06/2025: We had dinner with 5 adults and children, great welcome upon arrival, orders and deliveries, perfect dishes, manager entertains excellently throughout the evening, excellent "homemade" dessert and excellent coffee too. Extremely low final bill for being in the center ..... we will definitely return ...

06/07/2025: We had lunch at the restaurant during a day at the beach. Among the foods, all quite good, a very tender octopus salad stands out. The environment suffers a bit from the confusion of the large outdoor area, which resembles a beer house. I slightly penalized the service for two reasons: when booking we were expressly assured that the menu had options for celiacs, but in reality the first courses were all gluten-free (one could reply that some second courses were gluten-free, but that's how it is in any restaurant). The second reason is that a minute after ordering we asked if we could change a first course, but we were told that it wasn't possible because it was already cooking. Ok, that's fair enough, but the service times were much longer than the cooking time of the dish, and this raises some doubts.

10/06/2025: Frequento questo ristorante da un po di anni e devo dire che qualcosa è cambiato. Location perfetta sia per un pranzo con amici o con la famiglia (bambini inclusi), cibo buono ma si percepisce che le materie prime sono cambiate e si è abbassata la qualità rispetto agli altri anni. In un posto come questo, nel cuore del Friuli, non è possibile trovare l'olio extra vergine di oliva della PREGIS e non di qualche produttore locale. Gli affettati buoni ma non sono di alta qualità come una volta. Abbiamo chiesto se il sorbetto contenesse lattosio (causa intolleranza) e una cameriera ci ha espressamente detto che il sorbetto è un preparato in busta quindi poteva contenere del latte in polvere o delle tracce: in precedenza il sorbetto veniva fatto al momento e si sentiva e trovo abbastanza sgradevole che venga detto ad un cliente che è un preparato in busta. La titolare è sempre molto gentile ma abbiamo riscontrato un servizio molto disordinato da parte delle cameriere in quanto abbiamo dovuto chiedere più volte se ci portavano via un pò di piatti vuoti. MI dispiace molto che si sia abbassata la qualità...ma i prezzi no!

24/06/2025: Authentic place, this is exactly why Italy is such a wonderful country. Simple and tasty food, friendly people. The construction workers from the neighborhood sit here silently enjoying their afternoon rest, cleaning their plates with a piece of bread. Don't tell anyone.

12/07/2025: Ristorante molto carino peccato per il personale Abbiamo ordinato frittura mista da dividere... Da dividere senza neanche portare dei piatti, quindi mangiando con le mani(perché ovviamente neanche le posate sono state portate) e allungandoci in nove più una bambina e sporcando ovunque. E vorrei andare avanti ma l esperienza e stata davvero pessima che non vale neanche la pena continuare Sconsigliato.

12/07/2025: Very nice restaurant, the food was also decent, but it's a shame about the service and the staff. Personally, an experience I won't repeat. Starting with the fact that if nine of us order a mixed fried food, I expect plates and cutlery so we can share what we want (but apparently that's asking too much). The three-year-old, who ordered a hamburger, unfortunately had a bun that was inedible because her milk roll had been grilled so much she couldn't get it in her mouth. I'll stop because it's not worth continuing. They'll definitely never see us again, and I strongly advise against it to anyone who thinks it'll be a good experience.

28/03/2025: The variety and quality of the food is confirmed. Always Excellent. The news is that from April 1st, there will be an increase in lunch to 15 euros, to 18 euros on Fridays.
