04/05/2025: I had lunch yesterday by chance in this restaurant. My wife and I ate two pappardelle, I didn't find them very good, a good dessert, a bottle of water, and two coffees. They brought a basket of hard, burnt bread. We spent €60. Finally, when paying, we found a pissed off person at the checkout and it seemed like we were almost bothering him. Finally, in my opinion the bill is a little salty given the food they brought. Total disappointment, I won't go back again.

18/03/2025: Antonio and his staff are professionals... they know how to take care of customers and their palate... dishes that are never banal... a warm welcome and a refined care of the seasonal dish... only with excellent raw materials... for example pike in green sauce with Bergamo polenta... tasting it gives you the sensation of being in water... bathing... like in summer... even if we are in winter... the tenderness and flavor of a lake fish... but with meat tender and tasty ..well seasoned with the green sauce in superfine extra virgin olive oil ..paired with a polenta that melts in the mouth..the sensation experienced..of freshness and research..is priceless....in the kitchen the chefs work to always propose something new..Antonio's son..Lorenzo..the chef and the cooks..in the kitchen for thirty years..they surpass themselves in the continuous daily search for new proposals..the work is also completed by a wide choice of wines expertly paired with dishes with passion by the sommelier... Antonio always manages to make you feel a new emotion by also combining warm and full-bodied wines... for example a good Carignano del Sulcis with the dishes of the day proposed by the chef... moreover the friendliness of the waitress Alina distinguishes this restaurant which maintains only the name and tradition of the trattoria... of decades of passion lavished with commitment by Antonio's parents... by Antonio and his family brothers..always recommended for every day and holidays to feel good together with your loved ones with always excellent quality food and original and always prepared dishes...try the desserts too and you won't regret it..you will come back often!!..enjoy the tasting!

07/05/2025: A corner of good food in the center and I was pleasantly surprised by it. The place is bright, with attention to detail, with a really nice atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The staff is one of the strong points: welcoming, kind and always available with a smile, without ever being intrusive. They make you feel at home, and this feeling makes the experience even more pleasant. The food? really excellent. Each dish is prepared with care and you can feel the quality of the ingredients. A place that I recommend with enthusiasm, ideal for a relaxing break, a lunch with friends or a quiet dinner. I'll be back! 💙🩵

02/05/2025: Nothing to complain about the place, quiet place with veranda, very peaceful. I took the Carnica-style gialsons and some Friulian wine, it was all good. The owner was a bit out of breath, he was left alone today by the staff, at the checkout I waited a bit to pay, out of empathy I said: 'were you left alone today?', first he comments saying that the staff didn't show up, then the piqued response: 'Ma'am, what am I worried about. That I have to put on food.' Furthermore, I was paying by card and had asked this question to chat, while waiting for the payment to be loaded. But if you have to put together food and you're alone, it's not our fault... Therefore 4 stars, instead of 5. Because you don't do this with the customer who empathizes with you, out of politeness. If you're alone, keep the place closed, don't be rude.

21/03/2025: Great food. They have one vegetarian menu option (mushroom gratin + vegetables side dish) and was super tasty. The meat/fish eaters in the group were happy too. Friendly staff and quick service. Not too crowded.

05/04/2025: Great experience, we had a great time and enjoyed some delicious prosciutto. The owner was so nice to us even though we don’t speak Italian and showed us around. Very authentic!

31/12/2024: Nice, hospitable, very friendly staff. We tasted their San Daniele ham, very tender and sweet, it looked like pudding! Accompanied by a very pleasant prosecco, we will be back!

09/10/2024: Lunedì 07 ottobre 2024, prenotato per pranzo tra vecchi amici (sette persone), in questo ristorantino ai piedi del colle della Rocca di Monfalcone. Che dire…Una inaspettata meraviglia per tutti i commensali!!! Cortesia, educazione e disponibilità uniche, molto ben unite ad una professionalità molto apprezzata. Pulizia degli ambienti al top. Qualità dei cibi ottima e quantità più che abbondanti, di una cucina che rimandava ad antichi sapori casalinghi, ormai difficili da reperire. Assaporato dei gustosissimi Gnocchi con Gulasch (slurp!!!), delle tagliatelle ai funghi porcini, Jota triestina. Secondi di Lubianska con ajvar, calamari fritti, gamberi arrosto, con contorno di patatine fritte e verdure. Come dolci, eccezionale la crostata ai frutti di bosco. Mezzo litro vino bianco, acqua minerale, caffè, grappa e slivovitz. Prezzo onestissimo, quantificabile in circa 30 euro a testa. Assolutamente da riprovare. ASSOLUTAMENTE consigliato P.S.: Non ci sono foto perché nella fretta di assaporare le pietanze, che al solo guardarle ispiravano a un goloso unico, nessuno di noi ha pensato al cellulare...

11/04/2025: The dinner was certainly good but a friend asked for a cut of meat and they didn't have it, my friend and I both wanted a fish dish and in the end we had to make heads or tails because they only had 1, I had some meatballs which weren't bad but to say salty was an understatement. Little choice of wine by the glass. All presented well but I don't think we will return.

02/03/2025: Friendly and helpful staff, the place is a bit cold and impersonal. Decent food quality, the chef is committed, but the price-quality ratio is lower than similar places. The "vegan options" unfortunately (as often happens) do not include proteins. Average place.

13/05/2025: La trattoria effettua orario continuato da mattina a sera. Ambiente ampio, con un bel giardino; ubicazione sulla strada principale, nel centro del paese; classica trattoria cittadina in Carso, con stile semplice un po’ demodé. Recensione riferita ad una cena di 3 amici nel maggio 2024. Abbiamo speso sui 30 euro a testa. Porzioni grandi, ottimo cibo, tovaglia di carta, menù macchiato, parmigiano in bustine. Consiglio i cevapcici (ottima carne morbida, ma senza aglio), cipolla cruda, ajvar, patate in tecia calde e autentiche; oppure il pollo disossato grigliato. Riguardo i dessert, delizioso e artigianale lo strudel caldo; sconsiglio invece il trancio alla frutta: la base aveva un impasto poco cotto e la panna era stucchevole. Buona la birra chiara; consiglio inoltre il tipico liquore di terrano!
