Al Lido In Pordenone

Had dinner here with friends, being close to the fairgrounds. An old-school place in need of a makeover. In our opinion, the restaurant's approach could be changed (better: fewer dishes, quality ingredients including the bread, and a few homemade desserts). The menu is very varied, with fish and pizza. Of the dishes we tried, I can recommend the Tuscan ravioli with speck (good), tagliatelle with shrimp and zucchini (nicely presented), and spaghetti with clams (good); I don't recommend the penne all'amatriciana... and the desserts weren't inspiring. The dishes arrived very quickly (too quickly) and the portions are generous, especially the cold Adriatic mixed appetizer; we would prefer higher quality and smaller portions. Service is good, staff are friendly.

I've been going to Al Lido for years, when it was a top seafood restaurant. Then there was a downturn, with small portions and high prices. I've returned here out of sentiment, recently three times for dinner with my family, and I'm pleasantly surprised by the delicious, fresh food at affordable prices. Al Lido is back again! A strong contender on the map of delicious food in the Friuli region, I recommend it. And my last visit again, I confirm it's worth eating here.

We booked at the last minute on a Sunday with a fair in Pordenone. They were very kind, and seated us almost immediately and served us within minutes despite the place being super crowded. The dish we ordered was truly delicious. Good.

I've always eaten lunch here during the week, taking advantage of the workers' menu. The restaurant is well-maintained, the staff are friendly, and the food is delicious and authentic. Prices are in line with the competition.
