31/05/2025: A must-see for a quick lunch at a reasonable price (€7 for a large sandwich). They have a wide selection of cold cuts, all of excellent quality. The wine is also excellent. Large internal room and large external patio. They also have seats on the barrels at the entrance to the restaurant. Recommended.

17/05/2025: I went there a couple of times for aperitif. The white wine is good. You can find crostini with Mortadella and more....

08/06/2025: A nice Friulian place with selected and quality dishes. Welcoming and private place. Excellent wines. A rose as a gift to the ladies present is a great gesture of class. Recommended!

18/06/2025: Many restaurants in Trieste have a strange habit (from a non-Italian perspective) of working short hours in the morning, taking a long break during the day, and working evenings. In other words, at approximately 3 PM you don't have many options and you go to whichever restaurant is open. That is the main reason we chose this restaurant. The pizza we ate was okay, but nothing to write home about (the crust was almost tasteless, and the toppings weren't made from the best ingredients, especially the mozzarella cheese). The service was okay but nothing fancy, and the overall experience was: "it was okay, but..."

04/06/2025: We've eaten here three times in a row; it's simply fantastic, highly recommended. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. We were here with our dog; we didn't even have to ask for water for the dog; we got one straight away. We saw our cigarettes and were immediately given an ashtray. The food is very good, with a large selection and a short wait. The atmosphere is very pleasant. It's a shame our holiday ends today; otherwise we would have come back. We will definitely come back next year. The best restaurant in all of Lignano Sabbiadoro.

04/06/2025: Large restaurant with plenty of tables both inside and outside, and plenty of staff. They make every effort to get you seated, especially when reading the menu. Large selection of food and drinks, including a three-sided pizza that tasted good (California with ham and salami). Located at the end of the pedestrian zone, we paid €13 and €15 for our pizzas, respectively. The toppings were mediocre, not particularly generous. Beer costs €6 for just 0.4 liters (which is considered a "large" beer here), and there's an additional €2.50 per person for the cover charge.

11/06/2025: It's the oldest coffee house in Trieste with an impressive interior that stays untouched for two centuries. So classy and chic! I was utterly amazed how friendly personnel is - engaging with guests in down to earth and friendly manner, making everyone instantly welcomed. The list of drinks and coffees is impressive, but as it was a hot spring day outdoors some of us opted for spritz - the one with cherry liqueur (not the aperol one) was simply D I V I N E .

25/05/2025: Sehr aufmerksame Bedienung, obwohl am Samstagabend das Lokal voll war. Hilfsbereit erklärte sie uns die sehr üppig mit regionalen Spezialitäten ausgestattete Speisekarte und erledigte sogar einen Sonderwunsch für uns. Die Antipasti kam für eine Person, reichte locker für zwei. Zu empfehlen waren die Primi und als Secondi die typischen Fleischgerichte. Den Hauswein gibt es hier noch in der Halbliter oder in der Liter Karaffe für €7,- bzw €14,-. Wir waren super zufrieden, satt und fühlten uns Dank der netten Bedienung unter all den Einheimischen sehr wohl. Daumen hoch!

09/05/2025: A place that could use some modernisation, but still looks warm and welcoming. The dishes are of good taste, the 400 g sirloin is excellent. The strong point is the staff who immediately understood that one of the guests was disabled and did their utmost to make her feel welcomed. Absolutely recommended

03/05/2025: A few months have passed since the review of the structure, it is time to add a note of thanks to the staff. More or less young boys and girls who are very attentive to the customer's needs, march all day from the veranda to the garden collecting orders. They are very good guys who can make you feel at home, so good that they seem to have emerged from a careful and critical selection.... So close that you can even find them after working hours together having a beer. Heartfelt thanks to Luca, Andrea, Alessandro, Matilde, Pier, Lara, Chiara and obviously to Michele who always lends a hand despite his commitments. ❤️ I didn't find anything negative, I've never eaten better sandwiches, made with fresh bread and quality ingredients. The padding is truly amazing, they certainly don't skimp on the quantity! Personally, in all of northern and central Italy I have never found similar sandwiches. Excellent unfiltered beer and courteous and always present staff. The value for money is excellent

20/05/2025: Really pleasant experience at Rueda Gaucha on a quiet Monday in June. A couple's dinner. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The meat is the real star: tender, tasty and cooked to perfection, accompanied by tasty side dishes and attentive and friendly service. Excellent value for money too. Ideal for those who love grilled food and want to treat themselves to an evening that is different from the usual. Highly recommended!
