01/10/2025: The place has a very rustic atmosphere, with an open kitchen. The piadina tastes good, but its composition is a bit sloppy: it's folded haphazardly, and many of the ingredients end up falling out, leaving only the empty piadina in some places. It's possible to have it exchanged, but for such minor defects, it doesn't make much sense. With a little more attention to detail, it could be truly excellent.

28/09/2025: Delicious piadina, you can customize it however you like. It's close to the cinema, so it's perfect for a quick dinner. Excellent ingredients and reasonable prices. Highly recommended!

15/11/2025: The sandwiches are good, but I think the place needs a good makeover from a health and hygiene perspective. The sandwich preparation area is VERY SPANISH, and the "cook" could be equipped with AT LEAST latex gloves to touch everything and everyone while preparing food. If you want to spend the right amount, close your eyes, sit down, and eat. Even if you just have to go to the bathroom, you'll have a hard time putting food in your mouth afterwards. Obviously, this is just my personal opinion. Some people will like the place this way.

30/09/2025: My friends and I went there one summer evening. The atmosphere was beautiful and it was a pleasure to eat surrounded by the nature of the Carrega woods! Classic food, but with fresh ingredients, and a fair price.

20/10/2025: We went in for an aperitivo, drawn by the large crowd, but we were a bit disappointed. Cocktails were brought to the table after a more than reasonable wait, but they didn't bring the platter despite assurances that it would arrive in a few minutes. We also had an Aperol Spritz, more like a string than a Spritz. The Prosecco was good. Prices were average, even slightly lower if you wanted, but the service needed to be much more attentive. I understand the rush of customers and the resulting commitment, but at this point, isn't it time to add another person to improve the experience?!

01/11/2025: Excellent wines, a wide selection of spirits (especially gin), top-quality cured meats and cheeses, and, last but not least, excellent prices. A bar that retains its historic charm and is one of the few places in Parma I still frequent.

Possibility of booking to have small celebrations in the cool in summer or in the warmth in winter. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, you will agree with me!

03/09/2025: Yesterday I called Franco's restaurant and guesthouse to book a room for four days for two adults and a dog. They had availability; I'd read in the service section that pets were allowed. They told me the dog had to be on a leash because they also have three. No problem, I replied. They asked me what breed it was—Bernese Mountain Dog—and they said, "No, it's not too big." It's not written that pets are allowed if you have to differentiate between breeds. The Bernese Mountain Dog is a very sweet dog, a great sitter, who loves people and family, and is not at all aggressive. I tell the restaurant and guesthouse owners that they have three dogs but they certainly don't like small animals. Being rejected because you have a large dog is uncivilized.

In addition to her outstanding professionalism, we were also impressed by her equally high level of courtesy (a virtue that's not always taken for granted these days).
