17/08/2025: very tasty cuisine, restaurant for locals. Partners invited us here in 2013. Really nice place, even thought about staying here. They showed me rooms in the basement - empty and simple, so I went to another place.

13/07/2025: My experience here has been mostly negative. From the outside, everything looks abandoned. Signs are broken, the parking lot's exterior pavement is destroyed, it even seemed closed to me. Inside, it's dark and poorly lit. The parquet flooring in the hallway is held together with staples. The attic bedroom has a double bed and a single bed (insignificant) and is closed between two walls. There's a fan coil unit over the head where the pillow is. PITY! A spiral staircase to go up, which you climb to go to bed but then to come down you have to be wide awake otherwise you're in big trouble. The ladder is attached to the wardrobe, so you risk hitting your head every time you use it. Broken sockets, a broken cistern on the floor. The first morning, I woke up at 6am without water. They told us it was for an emergency repair, but we had to wash ourselves on the building site. 2nd PITY! Food is reasonably cheap, but the courtesy is lacking. We left the establishment a day early for work reasons, our room was paid for, and they didn't deduct anything from our bill, not even a voucher to use the room again (kindly requested by the company). The response was negative and arrogant. We left and asked if they could kindly make us two sandwiches for the journey, and they agreed. The price was €12. 3rd pity. NEVER STAY AT THIS PROPERTY AGAIN.

13/05/2025: Nice place, great coffee but totally inadequate staff.. Absolute rudeness, little predisposition to facilitate the customer and rudeness of the staff make the experience in this place really bad!!

28/04/2025: Giornata tra amiche, entriamo e chiediamo se possiamo sederci (domanda di cortesia visto che il bar era vuoto). Cameriera maleducata e incapace di fare il suo lavoro ci butta i listini sul tavolo e ci riferisce che gli ordini li prende al banco. Ora, premesso che Vignola è piena di bar, (fortunatamente) credo esistano modalità alternative nel dire che non si effettua servizio al tavolo.. perdi più a bar vuoto e senza nessun cartello che indichi ciò. Comunque nessun problema… siamo andate a consumare dove venivamo trattate con più rispetto. Al titolare raccomando una maggior attenzione nella selezione del personale

19/07/2025: A gem in Modena. A wonderful, endless wine cellar, impeccable and welcoming service. You're always immersed in an almost magical atmosphere. Excellent options for nibbling while enjoying a few glasses of wine. The coffee is fantastic ❤️

08/07/2025: We went to this place on May 1st because we were passing through after having already had an experience a few months ago which was not very pleasant due to the behavior of the lady who owns the place. ''I'll start by saying that a bad day can happen and so we put our trust in it and came back because the place is nice.' The impact this time was even more drastic, I politely asked for a table for 2 specifying that 2 more people would be arriving shortly after, not even having time to finish the sentence and the lady's response was said in a high tone that THEY WOULD be too approximate, he wanted certainty about how many there were, I also underline that the place at the moment had at least half of the tables empty and therefore by law of trade if 2 customers come in you try to pamper them and not push them away with closing phrases and behaviour. My reaction was probably a little over the top given that I told them to go to hell and left without even sparing a glance. Moral and conclusion of the story I think I will not give another opportunity to return and I think that to do this job you need empathy before a nice place and good products, I recommend keeping the owners away from the public perhaps behind the cash register or in smart working it would benefit the place a lot.

07/08/2025: Nice place inside the La Rotonda shopping center, we stopped for a coffee break, very clean environment, beautiful windows full of attractive looking food, friendly staff, good coffee and coffee cream. Worth it.

29/07/2025: I won't go back. The staff was very rude. They served everyone else first, even though I was first in line. They made me a cappuccino full of foam and with just a hint of milk. When I went back to tell them, with a fed-up face and a huff, they said, "Ma'am, next time you have to tell the cashier." But I like foam, but not foam more than milk. I don't recommend it at all.

16/08/2025: I'm posting this unknown. The cappuccino is mediocre and the quantity is small. They don't have plant-based milk, only low-lactose. The croissants, in my opinion, are frozen and reheated. They tell me the bomboloni are good, but by 9:00 they were sold out.

04/04/2025: Luci soffuse, clima intimo, personale cordiale e disponibile. Balzac è diventato un rifugio per me e le mie amiche per i nostri brunch o serate. Consiglio di prenotare per una serata in buona compagnia, un drink e vista Ghirlandina.

03/04/2025: Almorzamos aquí hoy, y fue una decepción. La ubicación es buena, pero la comida era mediocre. Pedí un croque monsieur - parecía un sándwich grande porque el pan era grande. Sin embargo, solo había suficiente jamón para 1/3 del sándwich, y literalmente se estaba ahogando en bechamel. No pude descifrar el queso debido a la salsa. La hamburguesa de mi amigo estaba bien, pero no muy bien. Con una pequeña botella de agua, nuestro almuerzo fue de 31 €. Y para colmo, nuestro servidor hizo más de un comentario sobre nosotros a otro personal, asumiendo que no hablábamos italiano... No recomendaría. La única razón para 2 puntos es que la hamburguesa era decente.

18/02/2025: Everything perfect and fast, good value for money. An unforgivable flaw is no type of separate waste collection and even if you want there are common bins for everything, no instructions about it. Everywhere but especially in the mountains in 2025 we need to make an extra effort, educate and demand education from the consumer! At the cost of dedicating a role in waste management! Now a great ninara!

25/01/2025: The food was pathetic. I found a hair and it was served cold. The service was horrible. I thought I saw the toilet paper container empty, so I went to report it. The waitress pointed it out and replied, "Wake up, are you stupid?" I don't recommend it to anyone. Stay away if you want to be treated this way.

22/02/2025: A pranzo di sabato con la famiglia, vasta scelte nel menù pizzeria; un po scadente la proposta ristorante per chi non mangia carne. Pizza buona sia per impasto sia per la qualità degli ingredienti utilizzati Primi abbondanti ma poco curati nella preparazione. Nulla da dire sulla pulizia del locale, sulla cordialità del personale e sul conto nella media. Forza ragazzi, siete giovani e si può fare di meglio.

01/11/2024: Siamo stati di sabato a pranzo in questo locale, in 9, abbiamo preso un po' di tutto: bruschette buone, crocché buoni, montanare buone,buona la burrata fritta nel ragù; poi una porzione della tanta decantata Nerano, cremosi si, enorme si, sapore NI... ancora una pizza fritta buona, mentre la Margherita Deliciuos delude sia nella forma contemporanea che in quella a ruota di carro, il pomodoro era decisamente insapore, buoni invece i paccheri allo scoglio portati in carta per mantenere tutti i sapori del pesce. Insomma Deliciuos piace per la varietà del menù e complessivamente i piatti sono buoni, ma nessuno mi/ci ha fatto emozionare. Prezzi nella media. Personale gentile. Locale un po' scuro a livello di illuminazione.

01/08/2025: The waitress was so sweet and nice, even she couldn't understand or speak english. In other Cafés you first have to buy something to use the toilet. Not here, bought something anyways, but appreciated the service very much. Mille gracie 🔥❤️🫰 And the food is beyond perfection 🥰 A little jewel in Modena city 😉
