29/06/2025: This place was a really pleasant discovery. We had a coupon for an aperitif for two that included 2 drinks of your choice and a food platter for two at a cost of 15 euros. I chose a strawberry non-alcoholic drink and I really liked it, very very sweet but the taste was really good. The platter was a good size, not small but not super abundant, but it was enough for two. It included gnocco with salami, pizza, piadina with raw ham, a tigella and some crisps in a bag. Very helpful and friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere. The location in the center makes it great for stopping and having an aperitif. We went there to use the coupon not expecting much but both my partner and I were super satisfied and we will definitely be back!!

18/06/2025: Terrible service. We ordered two pieces of focaccia to go and asked if it was possible to reheat them. We waited about twenty minutes to receive them (they were already ready, we just had to reheat them) When we finally received them, we wanted to pay by card but the bartender told us, without even trying, that he had problems with the ATM and that we had to pay in cash. Again, he didn't even try to see if it worked, so it seemed like a way to get cash. Once he realized that we couldn't pay in cash because we didn't have any, he told us "nothing then guys, good evening", without even apologizing.

14/07/2025: The tigelle and gnocco fritto (fried dumplings) accompanied by a selection of cured meats and cheeses are truly excellent. The little bowl of lard and rosemary is the absolute highlight! A casual and friendly place. You can enjoy truly excellent local dishes at a reasonable price.

12/04/2025: Worst sandwich ever eaten. Sandwiches and wraps of the lowest quality, indecent and rude service, all at indecent prices. When you come to Entomodena, bring a sandwich from elsewhere.

26/03/2025: Chinese-run restaurant. Scaloppini that needed a chainsaw, watered-down wine... I stopped by for lunch, but the next time I drove straight ahead, accelerating. Thanks, but no thanks.

07/09/2025: Unfortunately I wasn't able to get anything because they wouldn't take my order, I went to someone else, the service outside was terrible with very little staff.

12/06/2025: Terrible attitude of the owner, he is really rude, he wanted to make 5 little girls eat plus an adult at a very small table even though all the tables were free saying the tables do not join. It's a shame that restaurateurs of this kind exist

12/06/2025: Bad experience! We ask to eat piadinas and sit at the table outside because of the heat... The girls eating are five and they make us sit at a small table that barely seats four. We ask to join a table and the owner tells us that the table cannot be joined and if we want we can just add a chair, but the girls do not fit and so he tells us that then there is no room! If we want inside in the heat! I want to point out that there were almost all the tables empty! Probably the owner does not need to work especially with customers on holiday! I do not recommend it!

21/09/2025: We sat outside for a good breakfast. The waitress preferred to take orders from other tables who arrived after ours. When it was our turn, the same waitress was very rude. The cappuccino wasn't foamed properly, but the croissants were good and well-filled.

28/06/2025: Ei fu. Eccomi qui a comunicare la definitiva chiusura di O sole mio... Una stagione che finisce; e purtroppo dopo un lungo declino... È stata per anni la mia pizzeria preferita, quando a Modena giravano solo tristissime pizze sottili. Trovarla, li in periferia, sulla via Emilia est, fu un'illuminazione: "ma quindi anche a Modena si può mangiare la pizza napoletana"!!! Per anni fu la sola pizzeria che amavo frequentare. Poi qualcosa andò storto; dopo il trasferimento nel locale su via Vignolese (pretenzioso} qualcosa non ha più funzionato: tra crocchè acidi e pizze semi-crude ho dovuto pian piano accettare che la storia fosse finita. In più, mentre O sole mio tramontava, in città si moltiplicavano pizze finalmente napoletane e pizzerie con proposte di qualità sicuramente più alta. Ed oggi eccoci qui, con il cartello "affittasi" esposto sulle vetrine del locale. Comunque sia andata a finire, un bel ricordo della mia gioventù. Grazie

29/09/2025: Shame on you, I asked for the doggy bag for two scallops in vinegar and they were one whole and one with a part eaten and I find myself with the one not eaten much and the other a little piece like a scrap of another... Certainly not the one I had on my plate... The matter doesn't end there with what you pay...

22/09/2025: Found the place by chance, varied menu with many typical Modena dishes, the lasagna was good but nothing special, it lacked a few ingredients, seafood rice was abundant and good, the raw ham was excellent and finally the dessert was the zuppa inglese which was very good
