26/05/2025: In giro per Modena, verso ora di cena e alla ricerca di qualcosa di veramente locale, decidiamo di affacciarci a La Chersenta. Davvero un'ottima scelta! Il posto frequentato da turisti e gente del luogo è molto semplice come struttura ma assolutamente funzionale e l'offerta gastronomica ha la sua Regina: la Chersenta in tutte le sue declinazioni. E' possibile optare per una farina bianca ovvero integrale e poi scegliere tra tante farciture dalle più tradizionali fino d abbinamenti solo all'apparenza lontani tra loro. Molto disponibile con i suoi consigli il proprietario, con l'ulteriore possibilità di acquistare anche le farciture in vasetto.

18/05/2025: Tigelleria nel centro di Modena. Offre una vastissima scelta di condimenti per le tigelle, che possono essere ordinate nella loro forma più grande o quella tradizionale più piccolina. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile. Le tigelle sono davvero molto buone! Forse il prezzo è leggermente alto ma siamo pur sempre in centro città quindi è comprensibile. Posto in ogni caso consigliato per assaporare delle ottime tigelle!!

11/05/2025: We are inside a sports club/club/bowls club and if you are not a member, to eat, you will have to fill in a form with your details. The environment, frequented mainly by elderly people, is very informal, with the walls full of references to Ferrari and other famous people. We were told the menu orally, and given that there are many options, it wasn't very easy to think calmly and carry out the order. It's a bit annoying that the waiters communicate loudly via radio. The first courses, typical of the Modena tradition, are good, but what brings down the rating of my review are the tigelle. Look at the photo: it is simply unacceptable that such an opprobrium is served in Modena. I'm sorry but there are no valid excuses. The fried gnocco is definitely better.

05/06/2025: I am expressing myself for pizzas by the meter ordered for takeaway, and for the waiting time: they were supposed to arrive after 30-40 minutes, they arrived after 1 hour and twenty minutes! Pizzas by the meter are hard, rubbery and thin, so problems with leavening or what else I don't know. This is the second time it has happened in three months, for pizza by the meter it will also be the last.

29/05/2025: We had a classic first course, tortelloni with butter and sage and very abundant gramigna with sausage. Then fried gnocco and tigelle well made and light, good cold cuts with mixed cheeses. Wine from a good cellar and varied desserts. The only flaw was the dimly lit room where we were.

01/01/2025: Piccola trattoria di un paesino di montagna sovrastato da un bel campanile posto sulla roccia. Cucina casalinga, alla buona, ma davvero buona e gustosa. Fate conto di tornare indietro nel tempo, quando eravate bambini e vostra nonna cucinava per voi quello che più vi piaceva.

10/05/2025: I went to this place recently. The staff was quite friendly overall, although one of the guys stood out for his kindness and helpfulness, which was really appreciable. Unfortunately, however, the experience was not all positive. They got my pizza wrong three times. And the worst thing was seeing the pizza chef remove the chips from the wrong pizza and put them back on the "right" one by hand, instead of making it from scratch as would have been correct. An unhygienic and certainly unprofessional gesture, which left me very disappointed.

18/04/2025: I really don't know where some of the people writing reviews stayed - this is not the experience we had April 25. We stayed here for a week and had room 113. Yes the lift is small, ALL European lifts are small, take the stairs - it is only a 4 storey hotel. The staff were all lovely, everyone of them. The desk clerks in particular were very helpful and even opened the bar for us one night upon our late return from eating out. The rooms were large with traditional furniture, the bed was comfortable and king sized, we slept well every night. The TV in this room is a 28" flat screen and had only a few English speaking channels - who goes to Italy and watched TV in the bedroom? Palermo is a vibrant city that comes alive after dark. Eating out before 9 pm is almost a criminal offence. The bathroom although small was perfectly usable and as a 5" 11" 220 lb man I had no problems with either the shower or the WC. The shower was excellent, roasting hot and superb water pressure. The room was cleaned every day, bed made and fresh towels provided. We only had breakfast once in the hotel dining room. It is a continental affair with meats, cheeses and pastries, what's to complain about? As for the noise? The hotel is adjacent to a piazza with very little traffic. That said - it is Palermo, cities by their very nature are busy with more noise than your average village. Police and Ambulance sirens can be heard but not bad enough our sleep was disturbed. There are many, many very good restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Tondo across the road was pretty good and offers a 20% discount if you book online using the FORK app found on app stores. La Brace was the best we found, superb menu, very reasonable and excellent service.

15/04/2025: My children stayed with their team friends during a basketball tournament. We had the opportunity to view the rooms and we saw a truly basic and above all a little dated environment. We don't know how the service was or what the management is so I don't want to comment on it, certainly seen from the outside. The structure is not elegantly kept. I repeat myself by saying that in any case I didn't have the opportunity to get to know the management so it could also be of an excellent level

02/06/2025: We chose this restaurant because it was very close to the Ferrari museum we just visited, but the choice was more than spot on! Beautiful setting, very clean, good choice of dishes, both pizzas and dishes from appetizers to dessert. 4 first courses, 4 second courses and 3 side dishes, all excellent, paid at a fair price. Excellent service with fast, friendly and helpful girls who are happy to leave a tip. Highly recommended!

01/06/2025: Great place, I went for lunch with my family. Excellent service and friendly and nice waiters. We dealt especially with one waitress, Erika, she served us politely and professionally. Excellent food. Compliments to the staff.

23/03/2025: I was there today, found by chance while I was returning to the motorway after visiting the Ferrari museum in Maranello, with my wife and son. We had excellent service (the waitress was very attentive, kind and professional) and the delicious dishes (the photos are of dishes already partly consumed) we couldn't resist 😅. At the end of lunch the waitress offered us a taste of very good and much appreciated mascarpone. What can I say, I highly recommend a stop if you are in the area like us. We will definitely be back 😊

18/12/2024: Siamo stati a cena come esterni all'hotel. Il locale è una piccola osteria, piatti discreti, ma a nostro parere prezzi un po' troppo pretenziosi per il tipo di locale.
