20/07/2025: Camatta's Antica Bottega is a magical place, where you can breathe in the air of times gone by... it's like stepping back in time... to a time when life was good! Paolo, the owner, is a true gentleman of the past: kind, friendly, and charming, he knows how to put his customers at ease. If you want to eat truly special and unique crescentine with quality cured meats and cheeses, I highly recommend it; I also enjoyed the wines served by Paolo, and inside the shop there is a wide selection of cured meats, cheeses, and local products of truly excellent quality! The view is also excellent 🔝

14/08/2025: We stopped for lunch at Dispensa Emilia near Portali and ordered a basket of vegetable tegelle. A disappointment!!! They were either barely filled or almost empty, and the only ingredient in all the tigelle was tomato. I don't know if we'll get them again.

05/11/2025: I asked if we could eat quickly, and they recommended what to choose so as not to waste time. We had a quick lunch because we were waiting for the tour to depart. Everything was good, and we made time, even having coffee and dessert.

10/10/2025: What can I say!!!! The BEST 🍕 I've ever eaten in my entire long life. It's worth traveling 15 km to get to Catia's at Fondaccia. Easy-to-digest, flavorful, crispy pizza... it makes you want to eat another one right after the first. Try it and believe it. Francesca

01/11/2025: I was a guest on Tuesday, November 28th. In the morning, I discovered that the water smelled of iron, and it was yellowish in color. A strong iron smell. I pointed it out to the front desk. They know it, but they say it's normal. Frankly, I'd shut down a hotel with these problems. A cappuccino made with a machine is charged separately, like coffee. Four stars? Two at most. That yellow stain in the toilet isn't urine, but water... IF YOU CAN, DON'T GO THERE.

09/08/2025: As soon as we left the restaurant, my girlfriend and I wandered around hopelessly for a while on this Saturday evening in August. We found a table at this pizzeria on the only available terrace. We were overjoyed with the helpfulness shown, the quality of the pizza dough, and the abundance of toppings. Definitely a place to consider when craving pizza in Sestola! Everything was excellent, very kind, and the dinner was amazing!! P.S.: We had our big dog (very calm) with us, and there were no objections to keeping her with us, so that was a huge plus ;)

13/10/2025: Total disappointment: the experience fell far short of expectations. Yesterday, unfortunately, was a completely negative experience. Like every year, we come to Zocca for the chestnut festival, to greet relatives but above all to enjoy the much-loved borlenghi. We booked here, as we have done in the past (always with positive results), but this time it went decidedly badly. The staff is courteous, nothing to complain about in that regard, but everything else really left much to be desired. Final bill: €90 for three people. I spent €30 for a portion of fried mushrooms (which are actually a side dish, shared as an appetizer), two borlenghi, a coffee, and half a mascarpone cheese shared with the table. My mother had a portion of fried mushrooms to share, a portion of gratinated tomatoes (also a side dish), and a single borlenghi, plus a sorbet. My companion had a plate of tagliatelle with ovuli—a tiny portion, the mushroom flavor completely covered by the butter—two borlenghi, a coffee, and a shared mascarpone. A bottle of water and a bottle of Pignoletto. You can see that, besides leaving hungry, it wasn't a €30-a-person lunch at all. As soon as we arrived, we made it clear that we were there primarily for the borlenghi. They asked us to wait, and so far, no complaints: we ordered some side dishes to share while we waited. Too bad that after an hour, only three borlenghi arrived (one each), served several minutes apart. Then nothing else for over 40 minutes. At 3:05 PM, we accidentally noticed a borlengo rejected by another table, now at the cafe, and asked for it to be brought to us, explaining that we were still waiting for ours. At 3:15 PM, the last one—the fifth—arrived, and we were told they were sold out. What can I say? A huge disappointment, surpassed only by the shock of the bill. A real shame, because in the past we'd always left satisfied.
22/08/2025: Very kind staff and a family atmosphere! We had the borlenghi and gnocco fritto, which were fantastic, and the wild boar stew. I recommend it to everyone!! A special thank you to the always smiling owner.

02/11/2025: Truly excellent pizza! The dough is so light and easy to digest, I could easily eat two. The ingredients are excellent quality, and you can taste it in every bite. The prices are a little higher than average, but absolutely justified by the quality: if you want to eat well, it's fair to pay a little more. The staff is friendly and welcoming. It's now become a regular stop on my Sundays! 🍕

22/08/2025: Lunch experience, we were the only ones in the place. The place is old but clean, like we'd been transported back to 1985. The owner, the only person present, doesn't have a menu, but she says it verbally, omitting the prices. Take it or leave it. The lasagna for starters is decent, while the pork ribs are excellent. The gnocco fritto and crescentine are acceptable. The homemade dessert is not bad, and the coffee is forgettable. As for the bill, it's up to the old lady; I recommend a compliment between courses to get through it unscathed. I don't think I'll repeat the experience.

15/08/2025: I gave a gift certificate (for two dinners) to this restaurant, which I'd visited several times and always found to be excellent. The owner, Rossella (Rosa Lafronza), also always seemed very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, three months after the gift, the restaurant closed permanently, and upon my request, Rossella very hastily informed me that she couldn't refund the certificate in any way, given the closure; not even privately. Clearly, some doubts arise, given the proximity of the voucher and the closure. It would have been more appropriate not to provide the vouchers, in my opinion, or to advise people to use them as soon as possible. Instead, the money (€80) was taken, without giving them the opportunity to use it and without even offering a private refund. It's a shame, the experience ruins a fond memory of a special restaurant and a seemingly honest person.
24/03/2025: Credo che questo locale sia sottovalutato forse a causa dei prezzi troppo alti un pasticciotto 5 € è follia o un semplice caffe leccese a 3 €. I piatti sono ben preparati con ottimi ingredienti. Ma la vera "perla" sono le combinazioni che finalmente non sono BANALI. Ho trovato locali dove la parola Salento veniva associato a polpo e buratta dove le combinazioni erano le più disperate solo per attirare l'occhio sul menù. Qui tutto questo non accade è già solo questo è un punto in più. Rivedrei il menù perché a mio avviso è un po' povero di piatti e rivedrei un po' i prezzi. Ma per il resto io ci tornerei.
