29/04/2026: Passing through Pievepelago, my wife and I dined at this trattoria based on the good reviews on Google Maps. The atmosphere is rather dated, the staff is very friendly, and the service is prompt. The menu isn't extensive, but it features typical local dishes. The tortellini in broth and pasta e fagioli are delicious. The beef braised in red wine is a must-try, and finally, the stracchino della duchessa is a must-try. Good value for money.

07/02/2026: We recently had lunch at this restaurant, particularly appreciating the authenticity of the raw materials used. Arriving around 12:30 🕧, we were warmly greeted by the young man 🧑🏻 at the counter who immediately accompanied us to an open table. He quickly handed us the menus 📋 and took our drink order (a couple of bottles of water 💧, one still and the other sparkling). In the end, we opted for two first courses (tagliatelle with meat sauce 🍝 and pappardelle with hare) and a couple of side dishes. To finish, two desserts (crème brulee) and a coffee ☕. Everything was really very good 😋 and well-cooked, especially considering the quality of the basic ingredients (the hare meat was exquisite). The service wasn't quite up to par (a few snags here and there), but overall it was sufficient. The overall atmosphere is relaxing and homey. Prices are reasonable. The bathrooms 🚾, although clean and tidy 🚽🧻🧴, could perhaps use a refresh. The location is strategic, as the property is right in the center along the main pedestrian street 🚶🏻‍♂️. We liked it, so we recommend it 👍. 03/05/2026: BE CAREFUL if you have children, as there are medications left scattered around the dining area!!! BE CAREFUL with the bill, as it's calculated based on sentiment only at the end of lunch/dinner. '70s/'80s experience Good food, but exorbitant prices. Seven of us spent €30 each for a trio of first courses (the tortelloni were actually cheaper than the other two dishes), a carafe of unnamed wine, two bottles of water, two sorbets, and two desserts. The price was given without a menu directly by the lady at the register, with an invitation to pay in cash if possible (to avoid a receipt). The waiter and bartender service was precise and attentive. The experience wasn't bad, but the surprise at the register and the medications left unattended, easily accessible by small children, will make me avoid returning. A real shame.

18/10/2025: How could I not recommend this place? We stopped by this afternoon, looking for a sandwich, and we weren't disappointed—quite the opposite, in fact. The owners are lovely, and the sandwiches are made with love and quality! If I ever come back to Rome, I'll definitely stop by again 🤩

19/02/2026: We went for dinner on Valentine's Day, and the food was divine! Even though the place was packed, they managed to create an intimate and very pleasant atmosphere. The staff was also excellent: friendly and knowledgeable. It's certainly more expensive than other restaurants (I would have avoided the price increase on the menu for Valentine's Day, which they informed us of beforehand), but the food is excellent quality and well-cooked, making it totally worth it.

20/05/2026: The staff were always friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was rather meager, but the coffee was awful. The rooms were fairly clean, though there were several stains on the bed. Whenever the cleaning staff had been, the smell of chlorine was very strong. Unfortunately, there were no outdoor seating options, and the place was very dirty.

03/06/2026: We were invited for a baptism on a very hot Sunday. It was a real pleasure to eat outside, sheltered from the sun, in a beautiful location with the option of music! The menu included many very good first courses, and then for everyone, gnocco and tigelle with good cold cuts.

14/02/2026: We were there for the second time and it was quite disappointing, the starter was poor for the price, tagliatelle with duck ragù and tortelli verdi were good, the tagliatelle unfortunately, unlike the first time, had an unpleasant aftertaste.

08/03/2026: The atmosphere is dated, but the service is friendly. The menu is traditional. In my opinion, the quality-price ratio isn't great. Although the prices aren't excessive, I've personally had better.

20/05/2026: Cold water in the shower and long lines for it in the afternoon. There are plenty of parking spaces and it's not crowded, so that's a plus.
