24/01/2026: A few lines, but they're enough: excellent place and high-quality food. The negative reviews only demonstrate an inability to recognize what good food is. I've been coming here for 40 years and have never had a bad meal. If you're looking for pizzeria prices, go to a pizzeria: quality comes at a cost.

20/08/2025: Dinner with friends. Gnocco, Crescentino, cured meats, lard, jams, sweet and sour onions, bean stew and grilled vegetables, and then sweet coffee and liqueur...all delicious. At the end of the day, considering we also had an aperitif there, we spent 20 euros each...all while the kids played ping pong, table tennis, foosball, basketball, volleyball, and soccer...all without spending a single euro. For years, a favorite spot on our Sestola vacations. P.S.: Aperitif and dinner were served after playing tennis (you can shower there) on the reservable court at a fantastic price...12 euros per hour. The owner and staff were also very courteous and helpful (they let me use the court for 20 minutes longer and even gave me new balls for free). We arrived at 4:00 PM and left at midnight... 1 hour and 20 minutes of tennis, an aperitif, and dinner for four cost us 92 euros... something that would set you back around 140-150 euros for a day like that anywhere else... Highly recommended.

19/08/2025: Practically a dream come true... Tigelle and gnocchi galore, delicious, velvety, and soft as a cloud. Homemade cured meats, potatoes, and vegetables, all delicious. What more can I say? A MUST.

06/02/2026: We had lunch in a very welcoming atmosphere, with attentive and friendly wait staff. The food was excellent.

02/02/2026: A corner of paradise in Sorbara! 🍷✨ At Acetaia Paltrinieri I found the excellence of Modena's tradition. Visiting the vinegar factory and smelling the ancient barrels was thrilling, but lunch... unforgettable! Tortellini, gnocco fritto, and their incredible Traditional Balsamic Vinegar are a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Exquisite hospitality. Highly recommended! ❤️🇮🇹

02/03/2026: Restaurant-pizzeria specializing in seafood. The restaurant is welcoming and the menu is extensive, offering both meat and fish dishes, as well as pizzas. For a seafood appetizer, I recommend the Pianeta Mare (for two), which includes samples of all the seafood appetizers. The grilled fish is also excellent. Service is prompt, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The quality/price ratio is good. It's best to book in advance for weekends.

06/03/2026: Excellent trattoria, if you want to eat like the old days, with few frills but plenty of substance. The place is a little dated, but tidy. What can we say about the owner... .........90 years old and doesn't look it! Well done Marta....keep it up!

30/11/2025: I've had lunch at Pepe Rosa in Carpi several times. It's a takeout delicatessen with tables for dine-in as well. It's divided into two areas and open from 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. It serves traditional Emilian cuisine, with excellent first courses, and the lasagna and stuffed pasta dishes are the best in the area. Main and first courses vary daily, but are always freshly made and delicious. The atmosphere is a bit noisy during peak hours, but the prices are reasonable. The wine selection is limited. Service is prompt and helpful. It has two large restrooms, which are always clean. I recommend going to Pepe Rosa again and again.

08/11/2025: Absolutely no! Don't go there, it's incredibly expensive and the food is terrible. The only redeeming feature is the first course (not all the first courses were good). Besides, they're all microwaved and made the day before. If I have to pay a lot, I might as well eat well. And instead? I end up eating reheated, leftover food. It's nonsense. The service is terrible. I came there on a birthday, a disaster! There's chaos everywhere. Half the tables are occupied, in fact, there's very little space. Plus, the management is terrible. The boss yells at the girls, they run back and forth, a girl who works there was yelling at them to turn off the stove because she forgot to do it herself. Crazy stuff.

24/02/2026: Very nice restaurant. We went one evening and had a great meal. We had gnocco fritto with cured meats, which were delicious. The desserts were truly, truly delicious. The staff was kind and professional. As a final bonus, the restaurant also has parking. Highly recommended. If I ever pass through this area again, I'll definitely be back.

14/02/2026: Valentine's Day dinner. Very beautiful restaurant. Delicious food. Fair price. Attentive, prompt, and prompt staff. A special mention goes to "Antea," the young lady who took care of our table, and I express my deepest appreciation for her professionalism and kindness. My compliments also go to the pastry chef who created a delicious Valentine's Day dessert. What more can I say? A restaurant that is a guarantee. I always love coming back. Well done, well done!!!

21/02/2026: This restaurant is located in the center of Modena. Four of us went for an aperitivo. The menu is extensive, with a wide variety of food, wine, beer, and cocktails. We ordered a platter (with various cold cuts and cheeses), two Camparis, and two draft beers. The service was very quick, and the prices are average for the place. Recommended!

05/03/2026: Located outside the city center in an industrial area. The place is very spacious, which helps keep things quiet when it's busy. The variety of burgers and meats is very interesting. I had fried gorgonzola as an appetizer and the most substantial dish on their menu (a smash burger and sausage). Each burger comes with fries. The beer is brewed on site (you can see the silos at the back of the place), and I really enjoyed it. Prices are reasonable; I expected a little more considering the quantity. We'll definitely be back.

10/02/2026: Had a great time at Bear Belly! The beers they make themselves are honestly top-notch, you can really taste the quality. Food was spot on too — the burgers were juicy, full of flavour, and cooked perfectly. The place has such a good vibe and the staff are lovely, which just makes the whole experience even better. Definitely one of my favourite pubs, will 100% be back.

17/02/2026: A place where you can delight your palate with carefully prepared and refined food in a harmonious and relaxing atmosphere. The staff is courteous and helpful, and Laura is attentive to her customers.

30/01/2026: Business lunch. Seven of the guests felt ill that evening, having eaten different foods. There's definitely some issue with how the food is stored. The staff was also quite rude. Avoid.

24/08/2025: Silvia did everything she could to make our stay as comfortable as possible. She even bought gluten-free products and baked a cake for us. She's an absolute gem of a hostess. + Spacious, clean room + Well-equipped kitchen + Good breakfast + Nice pool + Quiet location near Modena and Bologna. - The only downside was the spotty Wi-Fi.

09/08/2025: A 19th-century place full of charm, simplicity, and excellent cuisine. The rooms are spacious with high wooden ceilings and wooden furnishings. The staff is kind and friendly. A small pool with a garden and loungers completes the welcome.
