18/12/2025: We stayed at Agriturismo Garuti during a quick getaway to the Modena area. The property enjoys an excellent location, nestled in the countryside, quiet and away from traffic. Unfortunately, however, this tranquility isn't fully reflected in the rooms: clean and simple, certainly, and comfortable enough, but the noise from the restaurant prevents true rest, especially for those who have traveled many kilometers. The bathroom in our room was a bit dated, and the fixtures, while not small, are all clustered in one corner, making them inconvenient to use. The kitchen products appear to be of good quality, but for those who don't eat meat, the options are practically nonexistent. Breakfast, however, is more than adequate. It's a real shame, because the exterior is very beautiful: with a little more attention to the interior and less to the facade alone, this agriturismo could become much, much more attractive.

15/12/2025: At an Emilian farmhouse serving traditional dishes, we had a dinner with colleagues. We had a trio of first courses, and the pumpkin tortelli were the standout for me. The veal in vinegar was also delicious.

27/11/2025: ABSOLUTELY NOT! We spent 80 euros for a fairly mediocre meal. Two penne all'arrabbiata (a type of pasta) that were part of the daily menu, and a grilled meat platter for two to share... including a half-raw chicken breast, and a bottle of wine. AN EXPERIENCE NOT TO BE REPEATED!

12/11/2025: I was very disappointed, we ordered 4 spaghetti allo scoglio but the clams and mussels seemed more boiled than cooked. None of my guests liked it, I will not go back again. I did not like it.

01/02/2026: Terrible service experience. When we asked for an aperitif while waiting for our table, we were given a rude look. Once we were seated, the wine was brought already opened and placed on the table indifferently. The male waiter was rude and intrusive throughout the evening, rudely interrupting us while we were talking to the waitress and then excused herself. The treatment we received was markedly different from that of other customers: the couple next to us received a closed bottle and a taste, while we received wine slammed on the table. We still wonder why they were so disdainful. Sliced ​​beef served with sinewy meat and without even asking for it to be cooked. Absolutely avoid.

06/01/2026: Excellent experience at "Il Ricco d'Oro" – Ideal for groups and families! I stayed with a group of friends and our children at Glamping dei Castagni in Montecreto and had the pleasure of eating at the Il Ricco d'Oro restaurant, located right next door. Despite a small initial difficulty coordinating our dietary needs on the first evening (one member of the group had celiac disease and one was lactose intolerant), the staff was helpful and professional in clarifying our needs. The following days were a crescendo of courtesy and quality: everything went wonderfully! What we appreciated most: Typical Food: Traditional dishes prepared with care and using top-quality ingredients. Everything was truly delicious. Takeout Service: An essential option for us! Having children, being able to order takeout allowed us to dine in complete relaxation at the glamping without having to give up the restaurant's cuisine. ​Attention to intolerances: The real touch of class came on the last evening. The chef surprised us by preparing a special gluten-free and lactose-free cake, allowing the whole group to enjoy dessert. For breakfast, he also offered a dessert suitable for intolerances. ​A special thank you to Chef Sebastiani for his patience, skill, and ability to accommodate our every need. If you're looking for a place where you can feel welcomed and eat excellent local food in Montecreto, this is the place. ​We'll definitely be back!
