19/01/2026: A friend and I went for lunch today. Very good pizza, and the service was fast and very friendly. I had a really good buffalo mozzarella, I recommend it! Perfect for a quick lunch break.

28/11/2025: We ate there on a Sunday for lunch. The place is beautiful, the staff very friendly, and the food is truly delicious. The raw artichoke salad was truly delicious, as were the salami and cutlet. Highly recommended.

21/12/2025: Nice place, nothing exceptional about the food. Otherwise, a huge disappointment. In a simple sentence: Unfair. The menu has normal prices, then they offer you off-menu items (the prices of which you don't know), but what do you expect to be in line with the rest? Then the bill shows 23 euros for an appetizer: ONE... and I mean ONE... octopus tentacles cut into three pieces... as if it were a Michelin-starred restaurant. Huge disappointment.

09/12/2025: The staff was active, well-organized, attentive, and kind. The food was excellent, the atmosphere very pleasant, the only flaw being that the tables were so close together that you could barely move.

19/01/2026: Messisbugo is a guarantee. An excellent beer and sandwich shop with tasty sandwiches, quality steaks, and a wide selection of beers. Fast and friendly service, with beautiful waitresses and the girls at the counter are always kind and smiling. The owner is professional and welcoming. Highly recommended.

13/01/2026: (Reviewing the restaurant) The atmosphere is rustic, simple but well-kept and tidy. A fireplace at the entrance easily warms the entire space. The waiters are young, but friendly and attentive. You can clearly sense their love for their work and the commitment they put into it: they were efficient and helpful throughout the evening. The menu is simple but rich in meat-based dishes, which are the hallmark of this place. I liked the option of ordering a dish called Quatris, a trio of cappellacci (a type of pasta) plus baked pasta (which was actually lasagna; I thought it was baked macaroni). I'd never tried cappellacci with radicchio, but I have to say it wasn't bad for someone who doesn't like radicchio. For the main course, the rabbit was excellent, with vegetables just like my grandmother used to cook it, accompanied by baked potatoes. My boyfriend had tagliatelle with ragù and donkey with polenta, which he loves. The portions were just right, in my opinion, because I managed to eat everything without leaving anything behind; I was just the right amount of full. I was afraid they'd be inhumane, but I was wrong. Honorable mention for the pumpkin chips, which were AMAZING: I'd never seen them before, but I think even if they were available, they wouldn't be this good! I think providing more than one side is a plus. The robiola cake was excellent, as was the chocolate salami (which I appreciated because it was nice and dry with an aniseed aftertaste!). To finish, a nice licorice liqueur, very pleasant and low in alcohol. €87 for two with a bottle of wine, a real bargain.

16/03/2026: A simply wonderful place. A trattoria just as you imagine it. Warm, friendly, lively, fantastic food (a must-try!), local specialties, good wine. Anyone who doesn't leave here feeling uplifted has no soul. Since there aren't many people like that, reservations are essential. A true 5 stars.

17/02/2026: I booked a table for lunch for my husband and I a few days in advance, figuring it would be a good idea since it was Sunday lunch. The welcome and service were courteous and friendly, and the service was prompt. We ordered water and Sangiovese, and for the main courses, salami and Ferrarese bread as an appetizer, and rolled rabbit with artichoke cream and larded pork with spinach as our main courses. We enjoyed everything, topping off the meal with a warm tenerina dessert.

The side dish was supposed to be sautéed vegetables, the waitress said, but instead it was green beans and carrots from a can, not even reheated. 🥴 An afternoon spent vomiting all over it. 🤮 Never again! Really never again! A bad experience, and I wasn't indisposed! 🤐

I had phenomenal grilled mutton, ribs with a little extra attention: a slice of shoulder, the best cut for grilling, and the wild-fed pork, tasty and flavorful. A very impressive selection of cheeses. The wine cellar offers excellent selections, from the excellent bottled house wine to important bottles. I appreciated the Poliziano winery with its Asinone, a stunning wine. The staff is professional yet warm and ready for a joke. The place has plenty of charm. A wonderful lunch experience.
