22/08/2024: I know Ferrara, but due to work and a series of coincidences I wasn't able to go to the usual restaurants. However, it was a pleasant discovery. The waiters are friendly and the service is fast. The first courses were good, I didn't try my hand at the boiled meat trolley even though it was inviting. Absolutely honest prices. Nice dinner!

28/07/2024: Il locale è in pieno centro storico con splendida vista su castello e piazzetta del Savonarola. Merita anche solo per questo. L'interno è molto carino vera bella osteria tradizionale. Il menù è vario principalmente piatti tradizionali ferraresi da far conoscere ai moltissimi turisti che accoglie con cortesia e velocemente. Rapporto qualità/prezzo molto buono anche se molto turistico.

26/07/2024: Carina osteria di fronte al castello nel centro storico arredata in stile cinquecentesco, menù vario con piatti del giorno. Consiglio i passatelli, le lasagne bianche e il guanciale. Molto buoni anche i dolci della casa. Io ho assaggiato la zuppa inglese: “ubriacante”. Personale molto gentile, servizio veloce. Prezzi adeguati.

16/07/2024: I went to Schiaccia during my recent visit to Ferrara, looking for a good and quick lunch. And my expectations were pleasantly confirmed. Fast service, even though the place was practically full, and top quality. I was struck by the goodness of the Schiacciata: crunchy and soft at the same time, with a consistency and taste that really surprised me (and the dimensions are also generous). Don't expect the usual sandwich, this flatbread is something else. Intrigued by the name, I chose one with Zia Ferrarese: a cured meat that I didn't know and that I liked, thanks also to the (apt) combination with parmesan and aubergines. Bottom line: recommended!

16/07/2024: One of the best places to go to eat in the evening in Ferrara, without spending a lot and eating a delicious flatbread, I personally recommend you come and take a tour.

18/08/2024: Dinner for 4 adults and 1 child. The boy had dinner with a good quality Margherita pizza. We had 3 appetizers of fish balls and 1 sample of valley prawns, all fried very well and tasty. We continued with 1 very good and plentiful mixed fish grill which included 2 soles, half a sea bream and 1 cuttlefish skewer. 2 very good dishes of lobster ravioli and 1 seafood bigoli with lots of fish but not very tasty, but still appreciable. We end with sorbets and a truly good dessert made with mascarpone and chocolate. The sore point is that it is unacceptable for a restaurant to have "chipped" crockery. Friendly and helpful staff, however when the diners have finished eating a course, the dishes have to be taken away quite quickly, which didn't happen to us last night, but overall good.

12/08/2024: We could eat the pasta of the spaghetti with seafood, the rest was almost raw; the containers for fish waste have been brought almost to the end of consumption. I don't think we will be back. The dessert was saved.

10/08/2024: Beautiful tavern, the owner is too kind and knowledgeable, the view over the enchanting river, ideal for forgetting tiredness and smiling with an excellent glass of prosecco. Good cooking! It's worth a trip to go there.

29/07/2024: A great place to have a beer and eat something good in peace. The place is nice and modern but you can feel the beautiful, kind and friendly hospitality of the past! We met them for a graduation party and now we don't miss an opportunity to stop when we're passing through
