In my opinion, the environment is very nice, the peasant furnishings scattered throughout the restaurant are beautiful, the owner makes you feel at home as do the dishes they offer. Cook like at my mother's house.... what more could you want.

I have been going to this restaurant for more than 20 years now and at least a couple of times a year it is a must for me to stop by. Homely atmosphere, genuine peasant flavours, honesty and friendliness of the owner, kindness of the staff are their main ingredients. What can I say: "Thank you Andrea, see you next time!"

13/01/2024: andati a pranzo per festeggiare un compleanno ci siamo trovati veramente bene piatti dall'antipasto ai dolci buoni. Location bellissima complimenti a tutto lo staff
30/10/2023: Ma che bel posto! Un posto elegante, raffinato, ma per nulla snob, escludente. Eppure potrebbe permetterselo. Una vera villa signorile, piena di luce, con spazi ampi e bellissimi. Mangi in un grande salotto, che ti fa sentire a casa; in una casa stupenda. Bellissimo anche l'esterno. Gradevolissima la posizione; un po' nascosta, fuori dal baccano e dalla massa. Portate notevoli, ottimi i vini, piacevole il servizio, cortese, attento e premuroso. Prezzi onestissimi rispetto all'esperienza complessiva offerta. Torneremo certamente.

03/04/2024: We found this restaurant while looking for a place to have dinner with family. We enjoyed the food and options available with great value for money. Service available and very courteous.
10/03/2024: Restaurant in an informal setting offering a menu of typical Ferrara dishes. The quality of the dishes is very good and the flavors reflect tradition. The pumpkin cappellacci and violin pumpkin ravioli are truly noteworthy, whether accompanied by an excellent ragù or simpler with butter and sage. Fast and friendly service. The menu is not very extensive, but the prices are absolutely affordable even for a complete lunch.
