A traditional restaurant with excellent service. We felt at home. Incredible and refined dishes. I recommend the Bolognese/ragù. The pumpkin sorbet with balsamic vinegar was an interesting experience, but personally I loved the panna cotta.

Excellent traditional Bolognese restaurant and one of my favorite meals in Bologna. The Gramignone verde al ragù di salsiccia was rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, while the Scaloppina alla Petroniana was outstanding and a fantastic introduction to one of the city’s classic dishes.
The wine recommendation paired beautifully with the meal, the service was attentive and professional, and the atmosphere felt authentic without being pretentious.
If you are looking for traditional Bolognese cuisine, this is a place I would highly recommend.

Outstanding authentic Italian food served quickly by the nicest people you’ll meet in Bologna. Bologna is known for it’s food and this place reminds you of why that is. The Bolognese is so good that you’ll have trouble eating it other places because this is what S-tier tastes like. We’d have eaten here twice during our stay, but the locals beat us to the punch and snapped up all the reservations the second night!

You absolutely must try the rabbit ravioli – delicious! The pumpkin ravioli is also excellent😊, the wine is from a local winery, and the service is incredibly friendly! I highly recommend it😋

Quite simply the best meal I have ever had in my 61 years! Tagliatelle with bolognese was so good I had 2 plates. Followed by the most succulent fillet steak which melted in the mouth. Rounded off with a sugaring dessert platter of home made panna cotta, chocolate flan and almond ice cream. If you only go to one restaurant make it De Cesari. Don’t forget to book or you will be left disappointed.
