30/06/2024: Ho trovato questo posto per caso, cercando su TripAdvisor un buon posto nella zona di Vallo della Lucania… la nostra esperienza è stata positivissima, personale gentile e piatti davvero buoni… a tratti mi è parso di ricordare alcuni sapori dei buoni piatti di una volta, preparati con cura dalle nostre nonne… Mi sento di consigliare vivamente questa trattoria, ben curata anche esteticamente. Complimenti davvero.

31/08/2024: It's like being a welcome guest and where you can taste genuine dishes typical of the place such as: oil, wine, bread produced at km 0. Last but not least, the presence of Albino and Macario (father and son) adds value to all these goodness. We will return.

25/07/2024: The entrance gives you the feeling of a homely tavern.....but the food served at the table.....I raise my hands.....excellent service accompanied by equally excellent food. Well done. As the saying goes, clothes don't make you a monk.....

24/07/2024: We have been to this restaurant several times, the first few times everything went well except for a small mistake by a waiter who instead of removing the pepper from the pizza removed the potatoes... The last time we went was a few days ago, inside the starter they put low quality cured meats and cheeses, the fries were good, the cut of meat (medium cooking required) was brought to some areas raw at 11.34pm by 9.35pm we had finished the starter. I don't think I'll go back because the quality drops day after day and the service has become too slow, not to mention the prices are high for the quality they offer.

09/08/2024: Last night we had dinner in this place for the first time, booked by some friends of ours, let's start from the location which is beautiful to say the least, with attention to the smallest details, from the walls to the ceiling to the furnishings which all match perfectly, food, a real surprise, very fresh fish, prepared with skill, we had to try appetizers, first and second courses, all delicious, the two guys who served were kind and not intrusive. Unfortunately I feel like not giving the star that is missing for a small thing that in my opinion should be added, namely a menu where you can consult proposals and prices, which unfortunately is missing, the boy comes and lists the various dishes, where however the customer does not have way of understanding when you are going to spend. Then I must say that at the end of the dinner the bill was fair for the quality and quantity, but I highly recommend a written menu. But I highly recommend it and we will certainly return.

24/07/2024: The evening in this fish restaurant located in the old village of Trentinara was truly very pleasant. Trentinara is famous because it is considered as a terrace from which you can enjoy a unique panorama over the entire plain that goes from Agropoli to Battipaglia with the sea, Capri and the Amalfi coast in the background. The location of this restaurant focuses instead on the more rustic part of the village and on its ancient walls, all made of well-kept stone, which give a warm atmosphere to the rooms. The restaurant is purely fish-based and the menu is not written there as it varies depending on what can be found freshly from the market. The choice is truly commendable and I fully appreciate and support it. A small suggestion is to list the relative prices together with the dishes of the day, just to be correct. Then, but we will only find out at the end of the evening, the cost will not only not be a problem, on the contrary, it will be one of the restaurant's strong points. The friendly dining room staff explained the evening's proposals well to us and we started with two cold/hot appetizers to be divided between 4 and I must say that the choice was spot on given the very generous portions that characterize their entire offering. After bruschetta with tomato they brought us smoked salmon and tuna, a superlative octopus and seafood skewers. Then we continued with some fried courgettes and squid and finally an exceptionally tasty dish of octopus with tomato that you couldn't help but "scarpet"! My children and I then continued with 3 first courses: scialatielli with lemon and shrimp for my little one which I found fantastic, paccheri with fried aubergines and fish for my older one where the seasoning was truly divine and super tasty, while I I've been on some classic scialatielli with seafood. The preparation and quality of the pasta, as well as the raw materials, are exceptional in all three dishes. To finish, my partner and I had a baked turbot with potatoes which, although appreciated for the freshness and quality of the raw material, however did not convince us much in the preparation which we found a little heavy and too greasy. The fried food my little one got was also very good. To accompany the evening we drank an excellent Valentina, pure Fiano, from Ruotolo which never disappoints! Also in the 2022 vintage. As mentioned, the quality/price ratio is truly one of the strong points of the place, as is the freshness of the raw materials used.

27/08/2024: Pretty good pizza, normal fries. The croquette arrived cold. Unfortunately the service is too poor. More than an hour waiting for the pizzas (and it wasn't Saturday night), with constant teasing from the waiters who assured us that the pizzas were in the oven even though it wasn't true. The continued priority given to take-away pizzas is annoying. Impossible to go back.

25/08/2024: Siamo in vacanza a Paestum ed abbiamo cercato una pizzeria nelle vicinanze. Nonostante non avessimo prenotato, il personale è stato molto gentile e ci ha trovato ugualmente un tavolo anche se il locale era quasi pieno. La pizza è impressionante per quanto è buona, direi che la foto parla da sola. I prezzi sono molto competitivi. Un po’ di attesa ma ne vale assolutamente la pena. Consiglio questa pizzeria a chiunque passi da queste parti, locale promosso a pieni voti!!

02/08/2024: Abundant dishes of excellent quality in a quiet and familiar environment

26/07/2024: There were 8 of us yesterday, only one person welcomed us in an almost full room of around forty people in total,... a bit short given that we are in a tourist place and in the middle of summer, after an average wait we order salads of seafood and seafood appetizers, a jumble of flavors between defrosted products and fresh products (those who frequent restaurants immediately notice this).. failed!..the first one. Ditto.. failed!... When the room begins to empty, the chef he starts to work more calmly and the music changes and evidently the products too...the mixed grill, the tuna and the sea bass in salt EXCELLENT!!...IF you set up a fish restaurant it is the quality of the fish, the freshness that makes the difference.. use the top and the review will be confirmation of the excellent work done in the kitchen.. as soon as possible we will return to check if our advice is taken as such and not as criticism.

27/08/2024: It has good views, as long as they offer you a table for it, which was not the case although the premises at that time were half empty. The food in this case (fried squid and shrimp, tagliatelle with mushroom and amalfi pizza) was not good. No flavor, poor preparation. We ordered two glasses of red wine which were not served on the table for some reason. I asked what the wine was and they told me it was local wine, but I suspected it had come from some cardboard in the refrigerator, it was really bad.

26/08/2024: This place was great! I've been finding it hard to review the places I've eaten at in Italy so far but this place I just had to, just to recommend it to other people. The risotto I had I felt was the best dish I've had in Italy so far, that might not mean much since so far we've been to some very common places but all in all it was absolutely delicious! The portions we've had seemed to have been designed with us in mind, with that being said we're both completely satisfied. (Ordered tagliatelle with mushrooms, sea food risotto, mussels with pepper and fried shrimp + calamari) As a digestivo we had the grappa and limoncello, the limoncello in this case was wonderful! Absolutely one of the best either of us have ever had! All in all with the friendly staff, great location and exquisite food i highly recommend you try to take your way up the mountain path to have a lovely evening at this restaurant.

14/08/2024: The restaurant was exceptional, both for dinner and breakfast. The room had a splendid view, and the swimming pool, despite being small, was also very pleasant, with hydromassages and a view of the center and the sea. Parking on the terrace is very convenient.
