Molto buono il baccalà in tempere e la pizza fritta Lasciatevi consigliare da Salvatore e Mino vi prenderanno per mano e vi accompagneranno nei vari percorsi che propone la cucina

08/07/2025: I came here attracted by the good reviews, but, alas, I wasn't entirely satisfied. Starting with the order, I wanted to order spaghetti with clams (I'd seen the same dish from a customer at a nearby table), but they told me they could only make it with scialatielli. Okay, let's ignore that; the problem is it tasted practically nothing. The appetizers, on the other hand, were decent. I ordered mussels with pepper and an octopus salad. The service could be improved, though. I would have preferred a plate per person so we could share the appetizer without spilling. The icing on the cake was the waiter, who brought freshly washed glasses for the next table and... a tactical rub on my back to remove the excess water. I sincerely hope he didn't do it on purpose. Nothing to complain about the prices; they were average, but I've had much better for this price.

08/07/2025: Spacious restaurant with two air-conditioned and welcoming rooms. Well-spaced tables. Wood-fired pizza oven. QR code menu. Very good fish salad (appetizer). Decent mixed fried fish (mostly anchovies, I would have preferred more squid and cuttlefish). Adequate portions, verging on generous. Quick and friendly service.

10/08/2025: Giovanna, the owner, is very kind and welcoming. She cares about making a good impression on the guests she hosts at her restaurant. While on vacation for a week, we discovered Pappacena and were very pleased. It's a charming, simple place. The local food is tasty and high-quality. We didn't have a chance to try the meat because we were so overwhelmed by other very good dishes. If you're in the area, it's a restaurant worth visiting.

19/07/2025: Very nice and very local place - family owned. It says it opens at 18, we came 18.50 and we understood they opened at 19. They were very sweet and even though we didn’t speak the same language we managed to get ordered the food, which was delicious pizzas. They have a garden which we ate in. Worth a visit if you are nearby.

03/08/2025: Beautiful restaurant gives you the idea of returning to many, the view is amazing, the rooms are very clean, the food is delicious, especially the pasta made by them, only the fish can be improved

02/08/2025: We arrived by bike after a long climb around 4:00 PM, very hungry, as we hadn't found any open restaurants along the way. We asked if it was possible to get a sandwich given the time. We were greeted very warmly, and the lady served us some delicious traditional appetizers.

25/01/2025: If you are a good eater and want to eat an excellent sandwich or decide to eat a plate here you have to come, you will find very nice and cheerful people to welcome you, excellent quality and above all they care a lot about cleanliness compliments to the unique staff

11/08/2025: First off the food was good but portions were very small, for the price given (seafood) and both left hungry. On top they charged us for a wrong item on the bill and the waiter still insisted it was what we ordered (but the item name was not even on the menu). We also waiting very long for the service, maybe because we weren't locals like 99%. Dissapointing because they take advantage of tourists when they see some, hope this will help others in their restaurant choice when travelling.

28/04/2025: We stayed two days in this beautiful farmhouse managed by the kind and welcoming lady Angela and it was a wonderful experience. The structure, the view, the dinners and breakfasts... delicious! Everything was truly perfect. A place to disconnect from everyday life and regenerate. Cilento is a very pleasant discovery. Absolutely recommended.

21/07/2025: Communion on June 29, 2025 We've reached this date already feeling sick from the many mix-ups and misunderstandings caused by the lack of clarity and organizational guidelines that should represent a catering service, as they make it appear in videos on social media. We were required to leave the venue at 6:45 PM because there was another ceremony that evening. The set-up crew was required to dismantle everything by 6:45 PM. In fact, at the beginning, he even told me we couldn't bring balloons from outside due to a possible fine. We agreed to add Italian-style fritto misto to the aperitif at 5 euros per person, and thank goodness. Four other people and I didn't even eat a single piece, I swear. It was all over. 6/7 waiters for 120/130 people Because they were shared with the other communions We asked for booths to separate us from the other communions, they said yes, but then it was a one and a half meter booth. The people from the other communions entered our communion. At our communion, the children were without a tablecloth and had plastic cutlery and cups, while at the other three, they didn't. The owners only arrived when it was time to pay. The food was a top-notch, but the owner's arrogance and lies ruined even that. The owner told us that if we didn't reach the minimum number of 40 people, she would take the cake away, but her husband brutally told us that he's the one who decides. The waiters gave us a number of people, and I was 3 short, so I told them that the head count is done with a relative of the person celebrating as a witness. But they didn't even know this, apart from the fact that they just don't know how to treat customers. The shuttle to the parking lot on the way back is impractical. Even a 40-minute wait. People who aren't in the business. As they say, they have bread but no teeth. Best wishes.
