Kudos to Francesca for being an excellent manager, super friendly and helpful, as well as the blonde waitress with glasses (sorry I didn't ask her name). I will return with pleasure

13/10/2024: A splendid place! Reachable either by sea or by stairs, in both cases it is a spectacle of nature! Sea and mountains that blend perfectly. I spent a very relaxing day there. I had a wonderful lunch there based on fish, the dishes are simple but with excellent raw materials and tasty combinations. I recommend it!

24/09/2024: Wow... how Michelin screwed up the reporting here! We had dinner with the family with the expectation of drinking well - being a wine bar - and eating equally well. Unfortunately both experiences were disappointing. Being a wine shop, in fact, when asked "what wine do you recommend we drink and pair with what we have had?" obviously the waitress's response is surprising: "But I brought you the wine list, what do I know, a red, a rosé!". Equally embarrassing was the moment of choosing the second course: having ordered the cut, the waitress asked how I wanted it cooked. I replied that I liked it medium-rare, receiving - in a rude tone - the reply "either it's medium or it's rare". The same rudeness was expressed when I said that medium-rare cooking exists and that I simply liked it more rare but not really raw. In the end the cut arrived to me well cooked, therefore far from what I had requested and above all not allowing me to enjoy the cut (already very thin and whose price of almost €25 is unjustified). Certain errors can be allowed in a restaurant that does not boast the Michelin recommendation. The service was inattentive and rude, the food I would not recommend, and the bill for dinner was excessive. The only positive note is the location of the terrace under the olive trees.

17/04/2025: During our Amalfi Coast tour with Gaetano Franza, we had a short stop in Positano for shopping and sightseeing. While looking for breakfast (and a restroom!), we popped into Collina Positano Bakery—and what a happy surprise! Tucked inside a small fridge, we found a selection of gluten-free pastries—which had been hard to come by during our three weeks in Italy. We almost passed on the chocolate-filled pastry because it was frozen, but the waitstaff immediately offered to warm it up for us. It was delicious—soft, rich, and absolutely hit the spot. If you're gluten-free and visiting Positano, this is a great place for a sweet treat and a bit of peace in a busy town. We were so glad we stopped in!

09/03/2025: Improvised lunch with a pleasant outcome! Polite and sociable owners, delicious food and a family atmosphere. We ate the fish menu with many (at least 8) fresh, tasty and delicious appetizers. To tell the truth, a couple off the menu have also been added courtesy of the owner's kind offer. Scialatielli with seafood, limoncello and coffee. All in slow mode accompanied by the kindness of the owners. I highly recommend it.

23/11/2024: In this place you really feel at home, the food is truly made with love, everything is more than good, the sliced ​​meat with fried rocket is really excellent, we also liked the pizza so much, the desserts are no less, Mrs. Rosanna welcomed us to open arms and made us feel at home, this time we passed by chance but we will certainly return sooner or later.

05/01/2025: Sono stata totalmente rapita da questo posticino piccolo ma pieno di amore e passione. Complimenti senza dubbio alla cucina: tutto quello che ho preso era ottimo, dalle bruschette con i moscardini alla grigliata mista, peraltro mai vista una grigliata così ricca da nessuna parte fino ad ora. Un abbraccio forte a Mamma Rosa che con la sua grinta gira per i tavoli e ti fa sentire come se fossi a cena dalla nonna!! Complimenti, tanti e di cuore. Tornerò senza ombra di dubbio.

16/01/2025: Locale informale sulla spiaggia che offre un menù di mare. Una barca effettua servizio di navetta dal molo di Positano. Assolutamente da provare la zuppa di cozze ed il tonno scottato accompagnato da pesto di peperoncini verdi da loro chiamato pesto di friarielli. Locale sempre affollato, aperto solo a pranzo, che effettua due turni. Consiglio di prenotare con largo anticipo per evitare di non trovare posto.

02/12/2024: If you're looking for a quick lunch, this is not the spot for you. Da Adolfo is an experience! You want to dedicate most of your morning and part of your afternoon to it. If you are looking for a local hangout and authentic spot this is the place. You are able to rent beach chairs on their private beach for much less money than the main beaches of Positano, and you are just steps away from your lunch reservation. It is hard to get a reservation, so I recommend asking your hotel or your bnb host to see if they have any connections. The quick boat ride to and from the private cove is the cherry on top! Not to mention all of the food was so fresh and absolutely delicious!
