21/08/2024: Quite good food, some lacking in flavour, some flavoursome. Technique was there with everything well executed but not enough flavour. Best dish was miso roasted pork. Good wine.

11/08/2024: This was by far the best meal I've had in a long time. New York, London, Dubai... this small and unassuming restaurant can compete with them all. The ambience is very simple, the food is even better and every course is a new delight for the palate. If you haven't eaten here yet, you've definitely missed something culinary in your life..!!! And please excuse the photo - it was just too tasty and gone too quickly.. ❤️🇮🇹

25/06/2024: I came to Cepagatti during my summer holidays, specifically to visit this splendid work. I had already browsed through some photos, but obviously being able to see it in person was a much greater emotion. It is an ancient building, built on the remains of an important Roman villa, which was built and modified in several periods, from 1600 to 1800. What is immediately striking is first of all the extraordinary level of conservation of each architectural element: the body central part of the castle, the dominant tower and the adjacent chapel as well as the arches, the characteristic battlements and the balconies. An unmistakable distinctive sign of this building, although not very relevant from an artistic point of view, is the decoration in the upper part, made with sequential circles of different colours. Passing in front of the facade and going around the ancient complex, it seems to be in the period of greatest splendor of the town, well represented by the numerous murals on the walls of the surrounding houses. Probably few know this beautiful village and unfortunately having little consideration for a town that does not possess a high number of historical elements is a sadly common curse and many truly magnificent places risk often being overshadowed; this is why we must have particular admiration for those who possess the patience and dedication in valorising these precious historical-cultural heritages. Given the notable proximity (the people of Pescara don't mind me, given the well-known archaic rivalry...), you can also consider visiting Chieti, a city rich in history. I only have one modest negative consideration to make: unfortunately some trees severely limit the view of the castle, right on the side of the main facade and it would therefore be appropriate to remove them or at least prune them radically (thousands of them are cut down, everywhere and for no reason and wanting to leave these right here in front intact would not be ideal). I hope to be able to visit this magnificent building also inside, which is not yet possible at the moment but overall I was very satisfied with this discovery.

11/08/2024: What can I say, the food isn't too bad, unfortunately the trout was a disappointment. For the cost I expected something more, but instead they gave me half a trout and it was also overcooked. Definitely overpriced for what I got.

18/08/2024: I stayed at this hotel with high expectations, but was extremely disappointed. The staff have been incredibly rude and unprofessional since our arrival. Not only were they unavailable to answer our questions, they also seemed annoyed by our requests for basic information. Breakfast was a total disaster. The choice was very limited and the quality of the food was terrible. The products were evidently of poor quality and, in some cases, even looked old and few hot dishes available were cold and tasteless. For what we paid, I definitely expected more. This hotel is absolutely not worth the money spent. I strongly advise against staying here, there are definitely better options in the area. I will never go back there again.

16/08/2024: The waiters are super kind, cheerful, friendly and helpful, a welcoming place, the food arrived quickly even though there were a lot of people and the pizza was delicious.

15/08/2024: The food was indescribably delicious. We ordered T-Bone to take away, the negative thing was that it said on the menu: 900gr = €5.50 and in the end we had to pay a little over €40 just for the T-Bone. It would have been nice if the waitress had told us that the T-bone costs €5.50 per 100g. That was really annoying. The rest was wonderful.

20/08/2024: Da Marlon la semplicità di un pranzo da trattoria si abbina all’altissima qualità delle materie prime e delle preparazioni. Agnello alla brace superlativo, da rosicchiarsi le ossa fino all’ultimo brandello di carne. Arrosticini tagliati a mano buonissimi: non un pezzo duro, pochissimo grasso, tocchetti morbidi e gustosi. Abbiamo chiuso con un tiramisù buo-nis-si-mo!

20/08/2024: Ottima cucina tipica abruzzese da antipasto al dolce, il personale e’ stato molto attento e gentile, assolutamente consigliato.

06/08/2024: Terrible service, crude and grumpy owner who cannot be in contact with customers. Up to par waiters. Bad service due to him and his ways. As soon as we arrived there was a child from our group, who was playing with the cutlery on the mat placed under the plate and he immediately "be careful that this costs €20-40" in an indiscreet way. Then regarding whether or not to smoke on the veranda, in a very rude way, he asked, remaining there to put out the cigarette (we were outside on the veranda). For goodness sake everything correct, there was a ban, even if we were outside, but you are not talking to "gypsies". To relate to people you need style and a little less arrogance. There are ways and ways. I don't recommend it

05/08/2024: On Saturday evening my husband and I ate an exquisite and abundant house starter (the earthenware potatoes are absolutely worth trying) and 2 plated pizzas: my husband 1 margherita with sausage and my Don Gennaro... wonderful!!! The terrace is pleasant and well set up. All the staff, especially the young owner, were kind, thoughtful and friendly. We had a problem with parking, they immediately moved to speak to the security guard. Last thing, very important, nice but above all very clean bathroom!!!

29/08/2024: AN AUTHENTIC RESTAURANT A very simple place in full seafood trattoria style for those who want to eat fish according to tradition. Very friendly and welcoming staff and very good dishes with generous portions. Worthy of note for its excellent value for money is the appetizer evening on Thursday evening.

27/08/2024: Good quality/price ratio. The restaurant is small but allows you to feel at home, especially thanks to the diligent waitresses and the very approachable and friendly owner. I will definitely come back.

18/08/2024: Original and delicious dishes, we ate on site and in addition to the super helpful staff, we found a menu capable of satisfying different needs. The dishes were well prepared and you could feel that the ingredients were good and fresh. I can't wait to go back when I'm in town.

18/08/2024: Local in the heart of Pescara, open from morning to evening. The food is excellent and unique, the guacamole sauce made by them is spectacular. We tried the gazpacho with raw tuna, a fresh, good and balanced dish. The risotto was also very good. Smoothies you absolutely must try. The girls are very kind and super helpful. If I really have to nitpick, I find the prices slightly high, but it still deserves 5 out of 5
