09/09/2025: Amazing! This evening I had the best fish-based first course ever, a bean and fish soup with a dreamy crunchy crumble, not to mention the fried shrimp and calamari, and finally the cooked peaches in must. One of the best fish restaurants (but I also do meat) I've had the pleasure of eating at. I recommend it; it's hard to describe. The staff is absolutely friendly and professional.

14/09/2025: Excellent regional cuisine in an elegant, country setting. I enjoyed the chitarrine alla teramana, as well as the grilled meat and side dishes.

14/09/2025: While traveling, we decide to exit the highway at VILLA VOMANO - BASCIANO for lunch and, using Google Maps, see that we're just a few minutes from the Anfora restaurant. We manage to find a table, since it's Sunday. Pulling into the parking lot, we see a beautiful, well-kept lake with benches and a large green park. The establishment looks very nice from the outside, and upon entering, the care and order inside are confirmed. The owners are very kind and welcoming. Outdoor dining is available during the warmer months. The uniformed staff are professional and fast. The menu offers a wide variety of options, leaving you spoiled for choice. We start by trying the legendary Teramo timbale, a true delight of the Abruzzo tradition, and the Tyrolean potato gnocchi, fantastic! The lamb is incredibly tender, fragrant, and cooked to perfection. The grilled vegetables are excellent, and the roasted tomatoes au gratin are truly delicious. Generous portions. Excellent value for money... I believe this restaurant represents excellence both in terms of its ambience and its traditional Italian dishes. Reservations are highly recommended given the large number of guests. A top rating. We'll be back soon!!

07/09/2025: We had dinner on Thursday, September 4th. The service was excellent, as were the dishes! The price was absolutely fair. Must try.

30/08/2025: The atmosphere was too crowded. The tables were too close together. The food was okay... They were wearing earpieces... to communicate with each other... weird... 😅

13/09/2025: Fast service, but worth revisiting. They should pay more attention to the dishes. The ravioli were good but tender.

10/09/2025: We found this restaurant on the fly during a motorcycle ride. It's a lovely place with a beautiful view of the valley, impeccable service, a starter with fantastic blue cheeses, an excellent first course with porcini mushrooms, and a moderate price, unfortunately, appropriate for the times.

19/08/2025: The food was excellent and plentiful. We paid little and ate a lot. The house wine was good and cheap. The only downside was that we were scorching hot. The air conditioning was off and the door was closed.

27/08/2025: Everything was excellent, from the house wine to the first courses and desserts. We had homemade fettuccine with porcini mushrooms and truffle, and asparagus and guanciale. Super generous portions. The kindness of the staff and Emiliano's cheerfulness make you feel at ease. Thank you 🤩 for the souvenir. PS: We would have happily stayed on the deckchairs 🤣 after lunch, but it seemed too much.

11/09/2025: After hours of walking, we stumbled upon this little restaurant just after the bridge, just after leaving the Scalelle trail, and we didn't think twice. Fresh, quality food, friendly staff with great recommendations. The ricotta-filled walnut ravioli and the chocolate cake with homemade ice cream are excellent! Reasonably priced.

09/09/2025: After years, nothing has changed. The same welcome, kindness, and helpfulness. Excellent, traditional cuisine, made with quality ingredients. Excellent pasta, gnocchi, and the cacio e ova balls. A rich antipasto with excellent cheeses, tripe, and excellent meat, cooked to perfection. Not to mention the homemade desserts, including the parrozzo semifreddo, which pairs perfectly with a chocolate cake. The wine selection is also excellent. What can I say? This time, too, it was a wonderful experience.

08/09/2025: Having stumbled upon lunch here by chance while visiting L'Aquila's historic center, we discovered a refined and tasty cuisine, made with local ingredients. At the end of the meal, the chef explained how he cooked the seemingly simple grilled chicken. The handmade pappardelle, topped with sheep's milk ricotta, Campostano sausage, and black truffle, were incredibly rich. The final treat, which alone deserves six stars, was the gentian ice cream. A true delight... The bill was the final pleasant surprise.

07/09/2025: Loved this restaurant. Food was incredible. Lamb was like nothing I’ve ever had before My favorite restaurant in l’Aquila. The owners are so nice and were very kind to a foreigner like me. I loved it so much I went back 2 days in a row. Pasta is fresh and local, and the lamb is unbelievable.

04/09/2025: A gourmet restaurant with limited seating inside (but a spacious outdoor marquee). Excellent dishes, traditional dishes with a modern twist.

30/08/2025: Everything was truly exceptional! Tradition expertly and respectfully reinterpreted in a contemporary way. A rich tasting experience, yet balanced in flavors and portions. The service and atmosphere were consistent with everything else. Congratulations!

27/08/2025: Simple but nice place, a bit noisy when full. Very friendly and helpful staff, always on hand to accommodate customer preferences. Very good food, simple dishes, and affordable. Both the first and second courses are reasonably priced. At the end of the meal, they offer a small dessert, which is both appreciated and delicious!

20/08/2025: This restaurant serves delicious traditional Abruzzo first courses and second courses. Try the chitarrine or ravioli, and you won't be disappointed. Excellent service, especially from the talented Simone. Reservations are recommended. Highly recommended.

02/06/2025: You have to travel a few kilometers, but it's worth it if you want genuine food, excellently cooked and served by kind, competent and smiling staff in a serene and familiar environment. And in addition the added value of a beautiful view of the mountains and the possibility of seeing one of the most beautiful and ancient churches in the province. The price?! Reasonable. Definitely a place to return to

08/08/2025: This old-fashioned restaurant is definitely recommended. Excellent cuisine, with attention to both ingredients and detail. We ordered two first courses and a fried dish with broccoli rabe. To finish, we had crêpe suzette and tiramisu. Everything was delicious. Impeccable service. Truly friendly. We'll definitely be back.
