23/12/2025: A beautiful and warm rustic mountain restaurant with a fantastic fireplace that creates the atmosphere. The food is rustic but delicious (portions are a bit small), the service is attentive and fast, and the price is in line with the quality. An excellent option for a nature walk and a good meal. A noteworthy aspect is the road to the location, which is impassable in some places and should be avoided in snow and ice.

12/01/2026: I've been wanting to try this pizzeria for a long time, and I wasn't wrong. The pizzas are excellent, from the dough to the quality of the ingredients, everything is truly excellent. We also had some excellent arrosticini. The service was fast and very friendly. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was very noisy due to the large number of customers.

21/12/2025: I'd been away for several years, appreciating it more for the pizza than the food. Today I returned as a guest for a family friend's birthday party and enjoyed the appetizers (polenta with ribs and sausage, unsurpassed flavor) and the first course: delicious ceppe with porcini mushrooms and truffle. Impeccable service, compliments to Paolo. The place is renovated and very clean. I'll definitely be back.

22/10/2025: I was very happy to go there. There were new and creative dishes, and they were well-executed, but this time they were basic, and everything was very neutral, mild, and darling! I won't be back for now. I'll wait five months and then try again, hoping they understand that some seafood needs to be enhanced with seasoning. Not everything should be left to its own taste, which can be nauseating.

11/11/2025: An institution in Magliano de' Marsi! For over 40 years, we've been going there for their excellent pastries (the classic ones with cream or chocolate are fantastic!), delicious coffee, and everything else. Try it and believe it!

06/01/2026: Visited Taverna Ducale on May 2, 2022. My son, granddaughter and I were greeted warmly and seated immediately. Our meal was beyond excellent. Each course was prepared and presented with great care. From the prosciutto and melon (we ordered it twice) and charcuterie, to the various main courses we had, were amazing. One of the most delightful and memorable meals I have ever had. Five stars... Can't wait to return.

07/01/2026: Fresh and plentiful first courses, excellent seafood flavor. The risotto was very well prepared! The mixed fried fish was delicious, dry, and not greasy. We waited a bit for our dishes, but the place was packed. I recommend it!

07/01/2026: I believe this is the best seafood restaurant in San Vito, having tried several others. The main characteristic of this trattoria is that it's not pretentious at all, it doesn't boast about gourmet excellence, but focuses directly on the essentials: the exceptional freshness and quality of the ingredients, which are cooked with great respect and care. The dishes on the menu are excellent, and the mixed fried fish is a real treat. The portions are generous, and the prices are truly fair, considering the quality of the fish served. The atmosphere is intimate, and the hosts and service are friendly and welcoming. Definitely a place to return to, and return again.

19/01/2026: Impossible to book on Saturdays! I called well in advance to book for a Saturday in January, and they told me that weekday bookings are only accepted starting at 10:00 a.m. on Monday. I called nonstop from 10:00 a.m. until they answered (the phone was always free). At 10:15 a.m., they answered and said everything was already booked. This is not serious!

24/01/2026: Here in Lanciano, there's no comparison. At Taverna, you'll find excellence: from the seafood cuisine to the selection of wines and grappas, with recommendations from the legendary sommelier, from the desserts to the service. Here, the customer is king. All in the heart of the historic center, with 5-star service. If you don't have a snake in your pocket, your palate will thank you.

14/10/2025: Parco dei Mulini has been a trusted favorite for several years now. I've been here often, even on different occasions (in the summer, the kiosk is open, you can eat outside in the heavenly temperatures, and the live music evenings are fantastic!). In the winter, they host indoor evenings, and the menus change based on events (the pizzas, in particular, are updated frequently!). Top quality in everything, from beers to main courses, all the way to dessert (made by the fantastic staff), and the pizzas are unparalleled: the best pizzas in the Ortona area and the surrounding area, even though we're in Crecchio. Generous portions and affordable prices. The owner is super. The place is beautiful, surrounded by the greenery of a charming former mill, and it's not uncommon to spot a few animals!

24/09/2025: Always happy to book. Relaxing place, even if it's always busy. The food, both meat and pizza, is always excellent. The beers are also good, with a wide selection. Good value for money.

31/08/2025: Waiting times are completely unreasonable for the value for money! Worst pizza we've ever eaten in Italy. Outrageously low-class, like a train station with the noise level and the ambiance is terrible. Definitely not recommended!

26/08/2025: Nice place inside with friendly and helpful staff, even giving us a table without waiting. The pizzas are tasty and filling. Prices are a little high.

08/01/2026: Everything was excellent, from the wine to the sublime food. The highest quality products were served with great professionalism. The place is warm and, above all, clean. The cuisine is tasty and varied, featuring local products expertly cooked by the chef and served with elegance. If you're passing through Pacentro, stop by, and if you don't, make time to go.

05/01/2026: Really good impression, the best food that we had in Abruzzo during New Year period. Pasta meals, wine, atmosphere and service at the top level in a beatufilu Pacentro.

16/11/2025: We went for lunch on Sunday and were very happy! The restaurant has two rooms, one larger and one smaller, and is very nice, welcoming and familiar. It has a fixed menu for €30 per person including water and wine. Everything is delicious, from the fried pizza and cured meats with cheeses to the appetizer, to the first courses with a choice of ravioli, gnocchi, and fettuccine. We tried ravioli with sauce and gnocchi with saffron, courgettes and sausage, which were super good. The roast as a second course includes meat and skewers, which were truly excellent! To finish the dessert, the very delicate sweet pizza! The owner is very nice and it's pleasant to chat with him, the staff is very kind, especially the girl who served us. We'll be back soon! ❤️
