The appetizer is pure poetry: interspersed textures, an enveloping cream, the egg that melts like a curtain opening onto the flavors, every element is there for a specific reason, nothing is left to chance. 05/05/2026: It's an ill-fated blessing...with our camper being repaired and the desire to get away for three days, we discovered this place. FANTASTIC! The people are incredibly friendly and have an old-fashioned kindness. Real farm-to-table food, prepared with love by Signora Letizia! Her daughters are also very kind, recommending places to see and introducing us to their products. ...and then...waking up in the morning, looking out, and seeing the Gran Sasso massif in all its majesty before us, beautifully covered in snow, is something from a fairytale. We'll definitely be back! We can say it was a goodbye! I forgot...we have 2 dogs, and they are welcome!

10/05/2026: A wonderful and intimate evening at Spoon. The chef welcomed us with his kindness and the deliciousness of his dishes. We opted for the six-course tasting menu, and everything was excellent, from the ingredients used to the flavor combinations. Honorable mention: the appetizers truly amazed us! 02/02/2026: There are many types of cuisine, but Chef Pierluigi's cuisine at Don Evandro is an act of love. Love for the land, love for the raw materials, which are enhanced in every way (we drank a cocktail with onion extract that was a revelation), love for culinary art and technique, and love for his guests. We had the pleasure of tasting so many different dishes, combining tradition and innovation, transforming "a simple onion" into a masterpiece, bringing "chitarra" with crayfish to the table with a sauce that is truly a distillation of flavors, blending earthy roots with freshwater flavors. All this was topped off by Eugenia's kindness and warmth, which made us feel welcomed and at home in a minimalist yet meticulously maintained setting. If cooking is an act of love, you just need to trust and be guided, with an open mind and a palate ready for an experience to remember.

The food was excellent, sourced locally, and cooked/presented in a way that highlighted the ingredients and flavours of the local region. The staff were friendly and despite the formality of the dining experience, I found myself to be quite comfortable.

The ingredients are top-quality; you can tell the owner is a connoisseur of good taste, as well as being very courteous and kind. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience good Abruzzo cuisine while maintaining the originality and quality of the dishes. The place is intimate and charming...it truly feels like home. P.S.: The tripe is a must-try...OUTSTANDING.

07/05/2026: What can I say... 4*? 3.5* would be perfect. The bruschetta is delicious, extremely filling and delicious; the handmade arrosticini are average; the desserts are acceptable. Negatives: the disposable tablecloths could be a little cheaper, and the bill (considering I ordered the promotional menu) could be a little more reasonable. But overall, it's not bad.

02/06/2026: We decided to try this family-run restaurant and were truly thrilled. The place is charming, simple, and welcoming, with a genuine atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. We ate wonderfully, using high-quality local products showcased in the best possible way. A special mention goes to the ravioli with sweet ricotta and sauce: they took me back in time, reminding me of the ones my grandmother used to make. They're also a typical dish in some towns in Basilicata, and finding the same authentic flavors was a wonderful surprise. The meat was also excellent, especially the local grilled lamb, truly tasty and cooked to perfection. And then the baked potatoes: it's reductive to call them just a side dish; they were something unique. The waiter explained that they are "di Secca" potatoes, grown on the Cinque Miglia plateau, and you could taste the quality of the ingredients. To conclude, we sampled the desserts, including an extraordinary farrozzo, a very interesting reinterpretation of the more famous parrozzo, which is absolutely worth a try. The staff was impeccable: friendly, sociable, and always available to share their passion for the region and its products. A place where you eat well, feel good, and leave wanting more. I highly recommend it! Kudos to the entire staff.

27/03/2026: What a wonderful discovery! During a heavy snowfall, we decided to drive a few kilometers further to check out all the positive reviews we'd read. Nestled in a small village alley, we finally found authentic cuisine in a notoriously touristy area where this is rare. The warm and friendly atmosphere, combined with simple yet exquisitely prepared dishes, careful selection of ingredients, and a warm welcome make this a must-visit for travelers interested in discovering the traditions of Abruzzo. We'll definitely be back.
