20/07/2024: to get there Google (bad) made us take a secondary road but there is the provincial one, but upon arrival we found the house, the sign. Letizia, a quality cook, made us a dinner out of this world, her daughter Giulia was very helpful and kind, always at the "service" of the customer, in short, guys, if you come by here, it's an experience not to be missed top top top❤️❤️❤️

20/07/2024: For those who want to get out of the crowded town and want to find tranquility, this is a place where paradise reigns among the mountains and breathtaking landscapes (we on motorbikes)...eating here...at the farmhouse is something unimaginable...everything at km 0....all genuine....like grandma once cooked....things that today...you can't find places like this anymore. ...Thanks to Letizia, the number 1 cook....it's to her whole family...Come... Come....reservations are welcome....thanks again....we will be back for sure 🥰🤗

29/08/2024: It was a nice discovery, we were passing through and went to dinner at this restaurant on the seafront mainly for the meat and kebabs. We had a barbecue and 10 kebabs (the best I have ever eaten), a menu with typical dishes cooked in an excellent manner and very fair prices compared to the portions. I think I'll go back even if it's just the kebabs

26/07/2024: Di passaggio a Sulmona, ci siamo fermati proprio al centro della piazza per il pranzo. Abbiamo preso taglieri di salumi e formaggi (tutto delizioso) e dei primi anch'essi buoni. Ho assaggiato polenta con salsiccia e anche lì il sapore molto buono. Il personale è cordiale e gentile. A fine pranzo ci hanno omaggiato il caffè. Lo consiglio per l'ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.

16/07/2024: Pranzato con un ottimo hamburger di angus con patate. Aria condizionata e personale simpatico hanno reso piacevole la mia sosta in un bollente giorno di luglio!!

08/08/2024: We stopped for a bite to eat. We were hoping for something more traditional but instead we discovered an average restaurant. Since we went there on purpose, lunch probably wasn't worth the trip.

29/07/2024: What can I say, perfection. Beautiful location, at the end of a road that seems to lead nowhere there are them. Abundant portions, low prices, excellent and refined quality in local things, courtesy and speed. It's all there. They deserve a big round of applause

28/08/2024: I highly recommend both the hotel and the restaurant, a simple and welcoming place, with delicious dishes at excellent prices and very kind and warm staff, we had a really good time!

26/08/2024: Excellent hotel in a strategic position in Abruzzo, very convenient for reaching both Rocca Calascio and Campo Imperatore. The cuisine of their restaurant is also excellent, especially the first courses and the selection of wines. Hospitality and courtesy at the top. We are always happy to come back. Highly recommended!

14/08/2024: We went to eat two evenings in a row and we will have gone the third too but there are closing days. We ate outdoors in the garden, it was nice as the days were very hot in this period, the food was truly excellent, home-made and plentiful. The family that runs the place is simple and exquisite. Highly recommended

31/08/2024: Abbiamo scelto questa pizzeria perché offriva l' alternativa senza glutine e tutto sommato le pizze hanno soddisfatto il nostro palato, tranne l' attesa, che è durata un' ora, nonostante il mio sollecito dato che mio figlio autistico non le ama tanto.

Or, at best, the writer, perhaps in good faith, is ignorant of the situation, who goes to the restaurant every 15 years and believes that the waiters still call each other with the whistle, and asks, for example, for Sunday lunch , with the place full like an egg, four different first courses, paradoxically telling the waiter "we're in a hurry" 🤦, or, at worst, in bad faith, he's a competitor who just has to learn, and a lot, from Gianluca how to be a restaurateur. To speak badly of Trattoria Bolsena, for what it gives you, not only in the dishes, but also in terms of courtesy and welcome, compared to what it asks of you, means rambling; and not knowing, even in the slightest, what we are talking about.

17/07/2024: In occasione del nostro matrimonio dopo vari "giri" come spesso accade per questo tipo di occasioni abbiamo scelto questo ristorante. Location molto bella con un ampio prato esterno molto ben curato ed una bellissima fontana all'uscita della sala ristorante, mentre all'interno c'è un ampio salone dove svolgere i vari eventi. Il nostro menù prevalentemente a base di pesce, tranne alcune eccezioni, prevedeva un Buffet di benvenuto all'esterno che si è rivelato ottimo sia per qualità che per quantità. Proseguento con le portate dei primi e secondi la quantità e qualità è stata veramente ottima il tutto accompagnato da un ottimo vino Pecorino. Personale di sala professionale e attento alle esigenze di tutti gli invitati (ancora oggi molti dei commensali si complimentano con noi per la scelta del ristorante). Consiglierei questo posto ad occhi chiusi anche per semplici pranzi o cene di coppia visto che comunque non è un ristorante rivolto prevalentemente e solo ai grandi eventi. Posto alcune foto (che non rendono giustizia perchè manca il buffet esterno, la torta ecc.)

In short, Villa del Barone is highly recommended.

30/06/2024: Pizza with excellent dough but drowned in acidic tomato puree, little mozzarella I basically only tasted the edge and the rest was melted! Not to be repeated. The pancakes with tomato are good.

20/08/2024: Excellent restaurant: large and varied menu, from starters to desserts and pizzas. Incredibly fair prices. This is the beauty of Abruzzo: good food, enchanting places and authenticity.

10/08/2024: The New Old Pub is located 5 minutes from Piazza Rossetti, just before the entrance to the municipal park. It enjoys a splendid view of the Gulf of Vasto. In its summer version it is quite spartan but concrete in the dishes. We tried a plated Chianina burger, sausage with potatoes, cheese and egg balls and the inevitable kebabs, all accompanied by an excellent beer. Well organized place and excellent quality of food. Definitely worth returning, even inside, where you can breathe the air of a real pub! Congratulations and see you soon!
