22/07/2025: We've been getting pizza from this pizzeria for a long time, usually for takeout, and we enjoy it in our campervan, since it's right outside the campervan exit. The pizza is excellent: the dough is light but delicious, and the size is generous. The combination of light dough and large pizza is perfect, filling without weighing you down. The toppings are excellent, and the pizzas are generously topped with quality ingredients. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially the cooks. Once, there was a misunderstanding, and instead of three pizzas, they only made one for me. The pizza chefs were very kind and made the two remaining pizzas in no time, demonstrating great speed and professionalism. Highly recommended!

11/08/2025: We had a wonderful meal here! Everything was fresh, full of flavor, and truly Italian – just what you hope for when you're on vacation (or just craving good food). The prices? So reasonable that we briefly thought they'd forgotten something on the bill. But no, just fairly priced. That makes you happy, and we're happy to tip. What also stood out: it was mostly locals. That's always a good sign. When the locals come here daily, you know you're in the right place. Not a tourist trap, but a genuinely cozy and authentic pizzeria. In short: looking for a place with delicious food, a pleasant atmosphere, and fair prices? Go here. Highly recommended! We had a wonderful meal! Everything was fresh, juicy, and authentic Italian, and it came if you missed it. If you were on vacation or simply like the rest of the pizza, it would be great. What are the prices? Many aspects are taken into account in order to be able to do this properly. Ma no, tutto giusto. With a good service, you can also enjoy your service. Un'altra cosa che ci ha colpiti: il local era pieno di gente del posto. After all, if you live there, you will be able to do so without any problems. No trappole per turisti, solo un posto authentico e accogliente. Insomma, se cercate un posto dove si mangia bene, si spente il guiusto e ci si sente a casa… venite qui. Consigliatissimo!

Despite the unfavorable weather, Claudio and his wonderful staff managed to turn everything into an unforgettable evening. The care, passion, and attention they put into every detail made everything perfect. The exceptional food, the impeccable service, and the magical atmosphere. We felt welcomed and pampered like family. Thank you so much for making our day even more special!

13/07/2025: A friend's recommendation couldn't have been more spot-on. My partner and I were in the area for the weekend, and she recommended this restaurant for a pleasant evening. The place has a lovely atmosphere, excellent food, and a good selection of bottles and wines by the glass. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, taking care of our two dogs. Claudio is a wonderful person, and I had the pleasure of chatting with him after dinner. When we're in the area again, we'll definitely be back.

22/07/2025: The restaurant looked good upon arrival: the place was attractive, lively, and the food was generally good, although the prices were high. The service was also decent… until the problem arose. We ordered a fish dish from the English menu (since we were traveling with people who didn't understand Italian), and they brought us something completely different, only the type of fish was the same. When we mentioned it, the waiter told us that the dish we had ordered was no longer on the menu. The problem wasn't just that the dish wasn't available, but that no one informed us about it and they served us another one without asking or warning. When I expressed my displeasure, the waiter simply replied, "Okay, thank you," without giving any further explanation or showing any intention of engaging in dialogue. At that point, we decided to pay and leave. When I went to pay, I saw that they were charging us €42 for a dish that we had neither ordered nor enjoyed. I asked again and was shown another menu (this time in Italian), which did list the fish we were served… but not the one we originally ordered. I thought maybe I had been mistaken, so we paid and left, albeit very unhappy. Later, when I reviewed some photos I had taken of the English menu to translate for my family, I confirmed that I hadn't been mistaken: the dish I ordered did appear on the English menu, but what they served was a completely different one. I don't know if it was a mistake, a mix-up, or a very dishonest approach, but I felt cheated. Having an outdated menu, not informing the customer of the change, and then showing a different one to justify the charge is unacceptable to me. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place and won't return. I've attached a photo of the English menu showing the fish I had ordered but wasn't served, as proof, since Italian menus are up-to-date and anyone can check this.

04/07/2025: Unfortunately, Il San Lorenzo was our worst dining experience in Rome. From the start, we felt unwelcome — the staff was overly strict about where we placed our baby stroller, despite the restaurant being mostly empty. We were seated near the kitchen in a hot, uncomfortable area, even though a cooler, air-conditioned room was available. It seems discriminating. The food was mediocre and forgettable, especially compared to the high standards we experienced in Venice and Milan. Nothing stood out in flavor or presentation. What made the experience worse was the cold, almost dismissive attitude from the staff, which left us feeling uncomfortable — at times even wondering if we were being treated differently for being Asian. Overall, between the lack of hospitality, the non-functioning AC, and the underwhelming food, we wouldn’t return. Rome has many better options.

14/07/2025: The Dogana Hotel has become our go-to place for weekend getaways. The very kind owners always make us feel at home and are able to accommodate any of our requests. The rooms are spacious and clean, and above all, the bed is incredibly comfortable. The breakfast is incredibly plentiful and rich, including local products. It offers everything from sweet and savory options to fruit, including honey and jams. The restaurant: we had the pizza, which was excellent, and we come whenever we can, even on Sundays, to enjoy excellent food or to celebrate our anniversary, as we have done in the past. The beautiful and spacious pool is an oasis of peace and relaxation. What more can I say? A huge thank you to the owners and all the staff, from us and our dog, Nuvola. See you soon 🙂

09/07/2025: Magnificent view facing the Rialto Bridge with the gondolas and boats passing by, the drinks a little expensive! The pizzas weren't on the menu, so you have to ask for another one, which is a bit unusual for a country known for its pizzas!! The pizzas were quite good and well-garnished. The waiters were quite friendly!! It's a shame to have to pay 12% more than the service charge; it's still a bit steep.

09/07/2025: Leo has been very nice and the boss was really friendly. I recommend the squid pasta but don’t eat the lasagna😋.

27/06/2025: Ristorante Quarantuno is my favorite restaurant in Pietrasanta. We’ve been coming to eat here since 2016. The food is consistently brilliant and I have happily been working my way through their changing menu and specials with my wife and other members of our family. The owners, Vera & Stefano and their staff are top notch and always take very good care of us, sometimes squeezing us in when they are crowded on a weekend and we’d forgotten to make reservations. Yes. There are also many other good restaurants in Pietrasanta, but Ristorante Quarantuno is where we happily keep coming back! Check out their Facebook page!

26/06/2025: The service was very attentive and the starter was excellent. My pasta was also very good, although the child's pasta was unfortunately not tasty at all, hence "only" 4 stars, but still recommended.

21/05/2025: "Quick" lunch on a working Wednesday, with three appetizers, three first courses and three second courses to choose from. Appetizer (culatello) and first course (asparagus ravioli), water (large) and coffee €19.50 well spent. "Basket" with focaccia bread and breadsticks included. Too bad it's out of the area otherwise I'd like to go back for the à la carte menu

20/07/2025: Well-crafted food and top-quality ingredients. The service is a bit rushed but efficient, in a historic venue in the heart of Turin. Perhaps for this reason, the prices are a bit off (for two, with a main course each, a dessert, and a glass of wine, we spent €96). The desserts are exceptional, but I wouldn't have expected anything less here.
