Abbiamo prenotato all ultimo x il pranzo di Pasqua, cercavamo ristorante con la possibilità di ordinare alla carta. Abbiamo mangiato divinamente, capesante, risotto alle bietole e pistacchi, totano su cipolla caramellata, ravioli agrumi e scampi e fritto sublime, asciutto e croccante. La Signora che ci ha accolto ci ha raccontato con delicatezza e passione tutti i piatti. È stata molto gentile e presente al punto giusto. Una piacevole scoperta e ci torneremo sicuramente. Grazie x averci fatto passare una bella giornata con buon cibo fresco e curato. Cristina e family

The place is very nice and intimate with background music. The restaurant is suitable for romantic or business dinners, but thanks to the friendliness and professionalism of the staff it is very suitable for group dinners with friends. (I did both). Food is a unique experience, a journey into incredible flavours. The wine is very good and the dining room staff is always ready to recommend the best wine to accompany Chef Max's unique dishes. Humility, quality and professionalism are the jewel in the crown of the restaurant. I can finally tell you that from today it is my favorite restaurant. Advised

We went to this little restaurant as we had a smart box that was expiring... I must say that the place is nice and very intimate... the dishes were good, both the starters and the first courses that were served to us... not bad

If you decide to have lunch at M'amo, wait a moment, think about it, you might be surprised beyond your expectations... If what you want is to try a culinary experience then you are in the right place! I ordered both à la carte and tried the tasting evenings and I absolutely plan to return. The dishes are jewels of quality and refinement in which Chef Max expresses all his experience and innovation enriched by a pinch of madness. Why madness? Well, the first time I saw the pork belly garnished with dark chocolate and berries I thought bad, then I ate it guys and it was a love story. Here, this is what happens at M'amo, you find culinary offers that first leave you speechless and a little hesitant, then with the mouthful wow and the heart rich! The proposals are always new, the combinations almost unlikely and in the end you leave incredulous and satisfied. I prefer meat and I also tried the fillet on mango cream and liquorice reduction (super), some meatballs with 3 special tomatoes but the real surprise for me were the fish-based dishes such as the octopus on potato cream or the sea ​​bass, salmon nuggets with Nerano courgettes or tuna nuggets on pear cream and grappa that I never thought I would appreciate... The spaghetti scampi and 'Nduja are highly recommended, while only once I had the pleasure of tasting a cream of cannellini beans and crispy bacon which I have never found again. The final gem is the dessert part, all, and rigorously all, prepared by the Chef whether they are cakes or small pastries, in short nothing is left to chance. The service is also very accurate, Manuela accompanies you, in a very discreet way, throughout the gastronomic journey, sharing anecdotes and curiosities relating to the dishes. According to other diners, the wine list is also sophisticated. The place is well furnished, you can really feel the personal taste of the owners without ever falling into the cheap, warm colors that create that sweet and intimate atmosphere with the background music and the soft lights. Having said that, know that if you are taking a walk in the Isola area, stop at M'amo and you will try dishes that can't be found anywhere else. Prices in line with the quality.

I returned with the family for a tasting event and after experiencing the imagination and passion of the staff again, I can only confirm if not applaud all the staff. - Chef Max applause-worthy goodness: passion, competence, ability to make people fall in love with his dishes; - Director Manuela: hospitality, friendliness, excellent advice on food/wine pairings - Local: sophisticated in its simplicity, silent and intimate, you can breathe the passion for cooking. The Isola neighborhood has a different, new point of view, not to be missed, well done!

There are many chefs, but few with Massimo's passion and quality. Tasting his cuisine is an experience. From meat to fish, always with the courage to raise the bar and dare. The result is extraordinary. An example: risotto with bergamot and amaretto. Sensational goodness. Let yourself be guided by his advice. Excellent quality/price ratio.

A place where you really feel good. The cuisine, the result of the talent of chef Max Paonessa, is truly tasty, concrete and of great elegance. Pairings of raw materials and cooking methods make the gastronomic experience perfect. The room managed by Manuela is welcoming and her courtesy and competence make it super. Wine list with a beautiful enological geography.

Classico ristorante stile anni ‘90 con vocazione alla cucina creativa. Sono diverse ed anche intriganti le proposte a menù. Iniziamo dagli antipasti e prendiamo polpo e polpette M’amo. Al tavolo arrivano 3 tentacolini di numero di polpo scottato con cipolla di tropea e 3 polpettine di numero “della nonna”. Saranno anche buone, ma per un attimo ci è sembrato di rivivere la scena del film “Sole a Catinelle” dove un esilarante Checco Zalone dopo aver inforchettato e messo in bocca il “prezioso” tortello di zucca in salsa di pistacchio si rivolge al cameriere esclamando: è cotta, la puoi scolare! Più che un antipasto lo si potrebbe definire…. un assaggino. A seguire prendiamo una discreta frittura di calamari, gamberi e verdure (senza wow) ed una particolarissima pancia su vellutata di cioccolato (abbinamento riuscito!). Come dessert, 3 “lacrime” di semifreddo al bergamotto in porzione mini degustazione e un piccolo tris di bignè. Prezzi ambiziosi ma accoglienza e servizio eccellenti (ci hanno coccolati dall'inizio alla fine). Bravo lo chef nella scelta delle materie prime, nella preparazione e nella presentazione, anche se da un uomo del sud ci saremmo aspettati anche un po’ di “sostanza”. Qualcuno di noi, prima di tornare a casa, si è fermato all'autogrill per un trancio di pizza...

16/02/2024: Quality place for both a classic lunch break and an aperitif. It has highly rated and valid wines that easily make a classic wine shop pale in comparison. A place that still smells of old Milan amidst large buildings and flashy clubs. Absolutely correct prices
15/02/2024: I went in for a sandwich and ended up eating a hearty and truly spectacular Mr Panino. The top, I will definitely return!!!!
