21/01/2026: An interesting interior with a lot of choices. I would’ve loved if the sushi didn’t have a lot of cream cheese on it and would suggest to opt for the simpler choices.

24/01/2026: I finally got to go to the Japanese restaurant in Milan that many people had recommended to me! It exceeded my expectations, and I was completely satisfied. When you enter the restaurant, you can watch the chefs prepare the dishes live through a glass window. Continuing inside, the dining room displays an entire wall of sake bottles, whetting your appetite for more. As for the dishes, from traditional Japanese cuisine to innovative ones (I'm Japanese), everything was delicious. The service was exceptional!! The staff was very friendly and easy to talk to, and they explained each dish in detail, including the preparation process to completion: this made the meal even more enjoyable. If I have another opportunity, I'll return and bring some friends.

19/01/2026: The restaurant boasts among its strengths the excellent quality of the ingredients used in the kitchen and the kindness and Japanese flair of the staff. However, the cuisine is, in my opinion, overly basic. There are some inaccuracies in the service, which is sometimes too slow and neglects to clear dishes from the table. Above all, there is a clear imbalance between the quantity served and the price paid. Overall, the experience is adequate but not exciting.

14/01/2026: The food is very good, different from the "mainstream sushi" I was used to, given my limited knowledge of Japanese cuisine and culture. But above all, I found it a place of the soul: slow but precise ceremonies and attention to detail transport you to a timeless dimension.

31/01/2026: Despite the restaurant being packed, service was fast, and we only waited a few minutes after ordering (we chose the menu directly from our tablet, which is delivered to you as soon as you're seated at your table). A wide variety of sushi and desserts, in a very pleasant and uniquely designed setting. The staff is also welcoming and helpful. Mikaku Sushi, a must-try!

05/02/2026: Tokio is one of my all-time favorite sushi restaurants. I've been going there since I was about 15, and it's always a guaranteed success. The atmosphere is authentic, with the option of sitting at the counter, at a low Japanese-style table, or at a traditional table. The owner is always extremely kind and helpful. The nigiri are exceptional: incredibly fresh fish, generous portions, and top-quality, especially the white tuna (butterfish), which is hard to find elsewhere. The uramaki, wakame, and marinated Tokyo-style sashimi are also excellent. The plum sake offered at the end of the meal is truly beautiful. A small, family-run restaurant that holds its own against sushi restaurants in larger cities. Highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

17/01/2026: I went to lunch this afternoon with a friend of mine. It was our first time at this restaurant and we had a great time. Excellent service, friendly staff. It's a bit more expensive than the all-you-can-eat options, but being an à la carte restaurant serving authentic Japanese cuisine, it's definitely worth every penny. The quality of the fish is truly excellent. The only downside is that the place is small, so reservations are recommended. Luckily, we arrived at a time when it wasn't very crowded anyway, and we managed to find a free table. Next time we come, we'll definitely make a reservation in advance.

31/01/2026: We've become regulars every Saturday: the owner and his partner are incredibly welcoming and kind. The place is very elegant, themed, and very clean. The fish is excellent quality and delicious. I recommend it!
