07/04/2024: I had booked a table for 1pm. We arrived slightly early as it was raining. We didn't get off to a great start...when we entered they snubbed us a bit, but once we were seated, everything changed. It feels like we've gone back in time. Courteous staff, good food, not a cheap place. We took 2 typical local soups, 1 bottle of water, a rather small glass of wine and 2 coffees.

06/04/2024: We didn't eat here. It reminded me of the bar in Cézanne's famous painting. Fabulous atmosphere. Also houses a book shop.

05/04/2024: Nice place in Trieste. The pizza is quite tasty and the restaurant is well kept and modern. The service was on the slower side, hence the 4 stars. I really enjoyed my pizza, it was very authentic, you can tell that they used quality ingredients. I would recommend!

03/04/2024: One of the historic venues in Trieste, where you can fully breathe the Central European atmosphere. Small, but very nice with some tables outside. The coffee is of absolute excellence. Excellent classic desserts with plenty of room for imagination.... The service was accurate. Prices are high, but in line with other places of the same level.

29/03/2024: Sacher very good and the girl at the counter really kind; single portion "Sole" ricotta, lemon and salted caramel, particular and tasty.

17/02/2024: Super! The spaghetti with clams with bottarga and pistachios is fantastic, it will make you want to return to this excellent restaurant often. All the starters are excellent, I recommend both the crudo (various fresh fish tartars) and the tapas (wonderful anchovies on polenta with caramelized onion). To conclude, it is really worth trying the creme brulee with strawberry topping (or mandarins, depending on the season), cut into very thin slices and caramelised. Generous portions. The service is also excellent, punctual (you never wait long) and great courtesy.

27/03/2024: Warmly welcomed by friendly staff in a rustic atmosphere. The stylish wood-fired oven in the entrance immediately catches the eye. The fact that the restaurant is fully booked on a Wednesday lunchtime speaks for itself. The friendly service and the top pizza with fluffy dough, together with the above-mentioned ambience, only allow for a 5 star rating. 2x tuna pizza 2x Cola 1x mousse eau chocolate with cake = 32 euros More than fair. Definitely highly recommended for us. 👍🏻

06/04/2024: I'm not entirely satisfied with pancakes that weren't cooked perfectly and honestly they didn't have all the flavor, the dough was almost neutral....bacon, not bacon that wasn't cooked at the moment so it left that halo of stale fat in the mouth. Good coffee

04/04/2024: Dont get the ramen!!! Everything else is sooo good and I don't know why they even offer the ramen which doesn't compare to anything else on the menu. The noodles aren't fresh and the egg is fried which is a bit of an odd choice. Everything else is genuenly amazing though so we honestly didn't want to take off any stars for the lackluster ramen. The sushi is absolutely fantastic, you can tell all the ingredients are really fresh. The temaki are really great too and the gamberi fritti are also really really well made and fresh. I would really reccomend sticking to the 12€ menu because you get your money's worth and more! The staff were also nice, although we wish they had brought all the food out at the same time. Will absolutely be coming back here many times!

22/03/2024: In 90% of cases we take takeaway food but since they renovated, it's also very pleasant to eat in the restaurant! The food is super, quality products and always delicious!

06/04/2024: Very welcoming seafood restaurant, friendly staff, excellent cuisine, I recommend you stop there. In addition, the prices are quite reasonable.

06/04/2024: The dishes did not excite us. The sauces hid the flavor of the fish. Clothes busy with fried food at the end of the evening.

01/04/2024: A family occasion, three generations of women at lunch. Pampered with kindness, staff present but discreet. Excellent food, as always. In the photo a Crudité appetizer and a Grand Gratin without garlic, mussels in busara, grilled octopus (without the parmesan cream), king prawn tails on truffle cream, grilled prawns on a bed of mixed salad. No photo for the baked potato portion. A simple glera and some water to soak everything up and three coffees at the end of the meal. Price more than correct for the quality of the food and the service (€55 each)

04/04/2024: In an enchanting historic venue, paying just 1 euro for an excellent coffee at the counter is a pleasant surprise. Complete with hot chocolate to accompany it. Compliments !

30/03/2024: Excellent restaurant with excellent fish. Mussels and fried calamari and fried calamari and sardines. Excellent sweet cream pasta.

24/03/2024: Grilled fish with 3 different fish and all that needs cleaning obviously, in the plate of shelled prawns, there were bones of I don't know what, presentation of the dishes too "done and thrown away", normal expense, 60 for 2 is not a price evil, but for what we were given, let's say it was adequate, I wouldn't go back even under torture!

29/03/2024: Non-existent service going there at 6pm for a snack, vacate by 7.30pm. Salami hard as marble on the cutting board, the rest normal. We won't be returning

27/03/2024: Spontaneously ordered for take out and despite a fully booked evening, the staff and the chef were super accomodating and welcoming and made my dream come true to enjoy their infamous and delicious gnocchi con ragu and the heavenly tiramisu! Thanks again guys!!
