The breakfast was spectacular and the quality excellent. It was raining and cold that day, and the space inside was really small, making it difficult for four people to have breakfast. I found the staff friendly and helpful, but they seemed a bit disorganized.

Super tasty, the serving 'set' was also impressive, only €8 for the set in the first picture. I crossed this store by accident. Its history started from 1836, that's definitely something.

A truly characteristic historic establishment, definitely worth a visit if you're passing through Trieste. The coffee is served in an "Austro-Hungarian" style, and the pastries are sublime.

Historic place in the city center. We stopped for a coffee and dessert break. We sat outside. A long wait to order everything, a long wait to receive it, a long wait to pay... in short, very slow service, but the desserts were generally good.

13/04/2026: An evening with friends spent in a welcoming place with friendly and efficient staff! It's nice to relive the experiences of the '80s when sandwich shops first emerged! Extensive menu with a variety of choices.
07/04/2026: I love this place, but I must say that they probably reduced the amount of ham in the sandwich to save money: two slices, even small ones, seems a bit too little to me; you couldn't even taste the ham. I was a bit disappointed (the ham was reduced for the increased price). The price of the fries (€6.50) seems really excessive, so much so that we didn't order them. The cover charge also seems a bit high (€1.50) for a paper placemat.

20/04/2026: On Saturday evening, we had a truly fantastic evening in a comfortable, family-friendly atmosphere! The owners are both professional and very friendly! The fish ljublianka is highly recommended, and the tiramisu is a true delight... If you're in Trieste, you absolutely must stop by.
07/04/2026: Drawn by the chalkboards describing the dishes, we had an evening, and it was a great tasting experience. Meanwhile, the chef came to the tables and explained a bit about the dishes. The atmosphere, typical of a trattoria, was very friendly and put you at ease. The dishes, however, were those of a high-end restaurant, very well-presented and tasty. A lovely evening for the palate to celebrate an anniversary. Claudia's dessert was a fitting conclusion, truly well-executed and balanced. Thank you, I'll gladly recommend you.
