29/07/2025: The atmosphere was very noisy due to the construction workers across the street drilling at 3:00 PM. We also waited over 25 minutes for two plates of pasta and a bottle of water. The staff was friendly, but we had some difficulty with the bill.

17/07/2025: Al David Vineria con Cucina in the center of Trieste seemed like an ideal place, I had read many good reviews before, especially for the seafood and the wine selection . Unfortunately, my pasta bolognese was completely tasteless, and the sauce did not have the character I expected: it was neither spicy nor meaty - it was simply pasta cooked in salt water, with neither texture nor taste satisfactory.” “The atmosphere and service were nice, but if the food experience does not live up to the price/value expectations, it is a disappointment. Since I came specifically for a classic Italian pasta bolognese, and I could not get it in proper quality, unfortunately I cannot recommend it - this dish really let my experience down.”

09/03/2026: Unfortunately, the restaurant's service was very disappointing. My friend and I placed an order by calling the restaurant directly, politely asking them to remove some ingredients from the sandwiches. We repeated this several times, and they confirmed that our request had been understood. Despite this, the sandwiches were delivered with the ingredients we'd asked to be removed. It wasn't a whim, but a request related to serious issues with some ingredients, so due to the speed with which they were prepared, I found myself risking my health, which was absolutely unacceptable. Once we got home, we carefully inspected the sandwiches and, seeing the error, called the restaurant to discuss and find a solution. Unfortunately, we received no help: the only response we received was "you can contact Just Eat and get your money back." But the problem wasn't Just Eat, but the restaurant and its lack of attention to the request we made over the phone. I would have expected another way of accommodating the customer, such as remaking the sandwiches, offering a coupon, or otherwise finding a solution. However, the way it was handled, I find it a great lack of respect towards the customer.

01/12/2025: Giving one star for the service I received this morning might be considered a luxury. After waiting for about five minutes, I took the liberty of politely and courteously asking if anyone was at the register. At this point, the woman, who had been engaged in a conversation with the other manager, began yelling at me, threatening not to provide the service requested and telling me to go elsewhere.

22/02/2026: Great sushi! A lot of choice and fresh. All you can eat with from great menu. Service is friendly and quick, the atmosphere is cheap but clean.

25/01/2026: Incredible guys. Hard workers. Better organized than Amazon warehouses. They deliver impeccable kebabs even at 2 or 3 in the morning... they don't care: their only mission is to give you this roll and you stay SILENT. Special mention for the guy in the pizza department, the scapegoat for a ruthless assembly line. A guarantee.

15/12/2025: Biryani was very nice one of the best desi food in trieste. The quantity of chicken curry was bit less but overall the taste was nice.

09/12/2025: It's so sad to put a rotten (black) avocado on the piadina. I was there a little while ago, and I notified the clerk of this mistake; she apologized, but these kinds of tricks CANNOT happen. Especially since I'd been told to be careful with vegetables because I'm pregnant! It really deserves to be reported.

20/09/2025: I stopped by this morning, September 19th. It was around 11:30 a.m. I wanted to get a dessert. Inside, there was only one customer who was chatting amicably with the girl handing out the bread. I approached the counter and walked past him, hoping someone would notice me, but nothing... Since I was the only customer inside, I didn't get a queue ticket. Meanwhile, I realized that the guy before me was friends with the girl serving the bread, who even wanted to give him the bread in different bags depending on the type he requested. He told her he didn't need it and that they were all for him anyway. Meanwhile, given the gratuitous chatter, the place began to fill up, and the people crowding in began taking queue numbers, sending them back to the entrance. After making every possible pleasantry to her friend, the girl serving the bread asked who was next to be served (even though I had been ahead of her for quite a while). A customer (who arrived well after me and stayed well away, near the entrance) slyly shouted, "I have the next number..." Since I was glued to the dessert display case, I calmly explained to the girl that I had been there long before and, since there was no one there, I didn't get a ticket. By now the place must have had another 5 or 6 new customers. The girl told me that in this case, she would serve those with a number first and then me... At this point, I said okay and left without buying anything. And with the certainty, moreover, of never returning to that place. I don't understand how they can let certain staff work with the public... Terrible experience, as I said, I will NEVER go back there AGAIN.

23/02/2026: I ate well, only the water in a carafe was €6, a steal!!!!

14/02/2026: I ordered a takeout sandwich. The quality was quite good, but I specified removing some ingredients because I can't eat them. The order was supposed to arrive at a certain time, and JustEat noted that the delivery driver had left. Fifteen minutes after the estimated delivery time, with the app saying "delivered," they recalculated the delivery time to 30 minutes later. I tried to contact them by phone, but the number was non-existent. It's normal for a delivery to be delayed, but I would have preferred to be notified of the delay before the estimated delivery time. Also, the sandwiches were cold. I ordered on a bad day, as it's a busy day, but at least being available by phone and removing the requested ingredients would have been nice.

23/12/2025: After years of going there because I worked in another bar nearby but I had found the staff rude, I'm writing this review because about three weeks ago I went with my husband for an aperitif and I found a blonde girl, courteous, professional, fast and who made us three rounds of aperitifs plus prepared the sandwiches we requested. Everything was truly top-notch and with the bar full and I was alone at the counter and tables. I complimented her in person and despite having been in this job only this year if I remember correctly, she has brought qualification to this bar which I find a place to relax if well organized!!!!! Well done to the owner who placed his trust in her, he will be rewarded. I highly recommend and will be back soon.

20/12/2025: After many years, I returned to the place I remember from when I was a child. What a pleasant surprise! The place is renovated and bright, with courtesy and simplicity, but with attention to detail! Well done!

02/02/2026: For the first time I was there to order rice with chicken and vegetables and the Chinese woman told me "it's not there" with a very rude tuna, instead I saw that they had prepared it for other customers there and she didn't even try to communicate with me and explain to me what is not there if it's chicken maybe I could order with shrimp instead... She said look at the menu I looked at the menu and I make them I mean not made with chicken?? She didn't give a damn about anything I could do I understood immediately and left the restaurant and I will never return goodbye!!!!!!

02/11/2025: Rustic Osmiza on the Karst. Simple and traditional menu. I don't think the cold cuts were theirs, but the Jota sausage was very good, albeit quite acidic. Special compliments for the warmth and helpfulness of the lady who served us. Thank you.

25/10/2025: Traditional atmosphere and historic osmiza (traditional tavern) of the area. The menu is more varied than the classic osmiza (traditional tavern) with traditional local dishes such as porcini mushroom sandwich, gnocchi, and jota. The cheese tasting plate is also excellent, and paired with a hearty Vitovska (a local wine) will whet your appetite. Nearby, trails wind through the lesser-visited and spectacular Csrso, with a fascinating former onyx quarry just steps away. A pleasant, family-friendly atmosphere.
