28/03/2026: If I could put a 0, I would! Uneatable pizza, kebabs that make you feel sick, that make you go to the bathroom. The restaurant smells bad and the service is terrible.

25/04/2026: Very nice location right on the sea with outdoor tables. Food: bland and, above all, they lacked raw ingredients (just mussels, or almost). The breaded sardines turned into mixed fried fish with shrimp, and the baked fish for two was just a portion. Desserts..... No comment. Not a good value for money. Expensive for the quality. Not recommended.

29/07/2025: The atmosphere was very noisy due to the construction workers across the street drilling at 3:00 PM. We also waited over 25 minutes for two plates of pasta and a bottle of water. The staff was friendly, but we had some difficulty with the bill.

17/07/2025: Al David Vineria con Cucina in the center of Trieste seemed like an ideal place, I had read many good reviews before, especially for the seafood and the wine selection . Unfortunately, my pasta bolognese was completely tasteless, and the sauce did not have the character I expected: it was neither spicy nor meaty - it was simply pasta cooked in salt water, with neither texture nor taste satisfactory.” “The atmosphere and service were nice, but if the food experience does not live up to the price/value expectations, it is a disappointment. Since I came specifically for a classic Italian pasta bolognese, and I could not get it in proper quality, unfortunately I cannot recommend it - this dish really let my experience down.”

10/09/2025: Please don't order online here!! Warning! I'm placing an online order around August 22nd. The coffee grinder with coffee tins with a birthday message. The order took a considerable amount of time to arrive and unfortunately arrived just too late as a gift. My partner then received the gift. The result was the wrong package, no birthday message, and dented cans. My partner was disappointed. I then had to follow up a hundred times and received no response. Then I received a reply, saying they were sending the correct one. So, after more than 3.5 weeks, I received the correct one, and the invoice showed a €0 refund. So, I thought they were sending the cup as a gesture of thanks for the inconvenience of poor customer service, the wrong product, no birthday message, and the dented cup. Suddenly, an Illy delivery service was there to pick up the cup. This again surprised and disappointed my partner, and therefore me as well. I then emailed to say that, since nothing had been communicated, they were allowed to keep the cup. I received the following response: In other words, please never order anything from here!!!!!! Dear Willem, After receiving your photos confirming the error in your order, it is our responsibility to retrieve the incorrect item so we can send you the correct product. If a gift or commercial gesture is being provided, our customer service will explicitly inform you of this. Disposing of the packaging will not prevent the item from being collected. 22/03/2026: Today I had espresso on terace, the young waiter charged me 2,40€ later I saw price list and espresso price was 1,40€. Pitty Such pleasant bar has so terrible croocked waiter.

09/12/2025: It's so sad to put a rotten (black) avocado on the piadina. I was there a little while ago, and I notified the clerk of this mistake; she apologized, but these kinds of tricks CANNOT happen. Especially since I'd been told to be careful with vegetables because I'm pregnant! It really deserves to be reported.

20/05/2026: We had dinner for two. We sat outside. The blonde woman was very kind and helpful. The pizza was excellent; we had a San Francisco and a Venetian pizza, both very good. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

23/12/2025: After years of going there because I worked in another bar nearby but I had found the staff rude, I'm writing this review because about three weeks ago I went with my husband for an aperitif and I found a blonde girl, courteous, professional, fast and who made us three rounds of aperitifs plus prepared the sandwiches we requested. Everything was truly top-notch and with the bar full and I was alone at the counter and tables. I complimented her in person and despite having been in this job only this year if I remember correctly, she has brought qualification to this bar which I find a place to relax if well organized!!!!! Well done to the owner who placed his trust in her, he will be rewarded. I highly recommend and will be back soon.

20/12/2025: After many years, I returned to the place I remember from when I was a child. What a pleasant surprise! The place is renovated and bright, with courtesy and simplicity, but with attention to detail! Well done!

02/11/2025: Rustic Osmiza on the Karst. Simple and traditional menu. I don't think the cold cuts were theirs, but the Jota sausage was very good, albeit quite acidic. Special compliments for the warmth and helpfulness of the lady who served us. Thank you.

25/10/2025: Traditional atmosphere and historic osmiza (traditional tavern) of the area. The menu is more varied than the classic osmiza (traditional tavern) with traditional local dishes such as porcini mushroom sandwich, gnocchi, and jota. The cheese tasting plate is also excellent, and paired with a hearty Vitovska (a local wine) will whet your appetite. Nearby, trails wind through the lesser-visited and spectacular Csrso, with a fascinating former onyx quarry just steps away. A pleasant, family-friendly atmosphere.

15/12/2025: Biryani was very nice one of the best desi food in trieste. The quantity of chicken curry was bit less but overall the taste was nice.

20/11/2025: Good place for Pakistani desi food. It was a great fun to watch the man prepare pizza dough

14/04/2026: Good products and decent location. The owner is the problem: visibly drunk, rude, and disrespectful to customers. Behavior incompatible with a business open to the public. A ruined experience. I won't be returning.
