21/03/2026: I celebrated my graduation at this venue, but unfortunately, things didn't go as I'd hoped due to poor communication and service. I wasn't told that another graduation was being celebrated that same day, occupying exactly half the venue. I wasn't told that, despite the other graduation being fully utilized, the DJ I requested was entirely my responsibility, even though he was already playing when I arrived (I promptly let them know I'd be late). He continued to play Spanish songs that I didn't like for much of the evening (I actually told him twice to play more singable songs). The only people dancing were the other girl's group (who, incidentally, were positioned RIGHT IN FRONT of the DJ, while I was off to the side, near the bathroom). I should also point out that I wasn't put in touch with the DJ beforehand, even though we'd spoken on the phone, and as a result, I wasn't able to make any specific requests in advance. When I exceeded my budget, rather than informing me, the GUESTS were notified, even though they knew full well who I was (see the crown) or who they should have contacted instead, given that my sister repeatedly went to the bar to ask for drinks: an attitude that I consider shameful and that made me very embarrassed. What I ordered, among other things, carafes of Aperol Spritz and Hugo, was of poor quality and completely watered down. For these reasons, I am reluctantly forced to advise against this place, which greatly disappointed my expectations on an important day for me.

21/03/2026: Terrible. I was there for a graduation and it was a terrible night: terrible service, rude waiters, completely watered-down cocktails, and a cramped space (if you have a place this small, don't take two or three reservations on the same night). I won't be returning and I strongly advise against it!

11/05/2026: We ended up at the hotel by chance, brand new, everything was very clean, the owner was polite, the parking lot for cars and motorcycles was paved, the restaurant had very good food and wine, maybe the restaurant staff couldn't keep up, but overall it was a very nice place.

28/06/2026: Give the frozen pizza to someone else. Be careful not to get ripped off. I asked for a white ham and mushroom pizza even though the menu says it has tomato sauce, and the waiter came back and said it wasn't possible. When they brought my girlfriend a Margherita pizza, we understood why. Shame on you, the pizza from Eurospin is better. Terrible.

28/06/2026: Frozen pizza. Undercooked. When you're in Italy - you expect real pizza. We got a pizza from the store that was undercooked so we ate raw dough. We ate half because we were hungry. We left the rest. I don't recommend this place. The waiters didn't want to admit that the pizza was frozen but what they gave us has nothing to do with Italian cuisine. A shame for the money we paid.

23/06/2026: After university exams, I come here to recharge my batteries. The sandwiches are very satisfying, with Triestine-style ham, and the bar is well stocked with meatballs, cicchetti, and frittolini—all sorts of delicious things. It's popular with local grandparents and dockworkers, so it's good. The staff is very friendly.

30/04/2026: Authentic Trieste buffet, home cooking, excellent flavors, and a welcoming atmosphere. Recommended.

14/06/2026: The only good thing about this bar is the bald gentleman who works in the evenings/nights.

10/06/2026: A good place on the outskirts of town, I think one of the only bars open all hours. You can always find something to eat, even late at night. They also have a pizzeria and sell tobacco. Friendly and helpful staff, decent food, and fair prices. Recommended for a quiet outing or a late-night refreshment.

21/06/2026: Personally, I didn't like it; I think the cleanliness needs updating. The pizza is passable, but the price is decidedly high for the service and quality offered.

21/08/2025: I wouldn't recommend it. Pizza was perfectly fine! Caesar salad... not. Dressing was from a packet, and only oil and balsamic vinegar. The turkey inside was pre-cooked, not freshly cooked, and gave me a stomach-ache vibe.

14/06/2026: Terrible service. It almost feels like you're doing them a favor by going there. They always have an annoyed expression, except for one: the tall, blonde girl with glasses, who is always kind and helpful. The others? I think they need a little more cheer in their lives. Especially the one with black hair and glasses.

28/07/2026: I went with my family last night for a unique and typical Trieste experience. We had a wonderful time, with a platter of excellent cheeses and cured meats. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere was intimate and family-friendly, and the quality/price ratio was excellent. Highly recommended!

14/06/2026: Pizza prices are good, but drinks are expensive. They don't have tables to sit at; you just grab your food and go.

04/06/2026: Very disappointed with delivery. Ordered 2 pizzas, only 1 arrived. It took a long while for them to bring the second pizza and they didn’t even apologize.

24/04/2026: There were two of us at the restaurant, and I chose the all-you-can-eat menu because the manager suggested it. The concept is simple: you order, they serve you a first course… then you wait. And you wait a long time. So long that when the subsequent courses finally arrive, you're not even hungry anymore. And if you don't eat, you're charged for the uneaten dishes. The food is generally bland, and the fish isn't always very fresh, which is particularly disappointing, and they don't always serve you what you ordered. As for the staff, they're not at all welcoming, even downright unpleasant, especially when you make a comment. That said, it must be said that the all-you-can-eat menu is €23, which is still a very low price. The value for money might seem appealing on paper, but unfortunately, the overall experience doesn't live up to it.

16/07/2026: Unfortunately, the photos on the Google account did not match what we got in person. The sushi was far below average, we only got wasabi and ginger on special request. The one-person staff is both the server and the chef, and forgot to bring some of the items in the order. The place is gloomy, there is no air conditioning, so it was 30C inside in the summer, and there is no terrace. You can definitely find a better sushi restaurant in Trieste.

03/06/2026: As soon as we arrived, we were told that several dishes were missing from the menu, but that to compensate, there were some off-menu items, including the seafood linguine, which we ordered. We asked for a half-liter of still wine from the cask: they only brought us a quarter, and explained that the keg had stopped working. The second quart, however, was sparkling. The tuna tartare had a slightly unusual color and a rather strange flavor, even if partially masked by the stracciatella. The first courses arrived within ten minutes of each other. The stuffed ravioli (six of them) were acceptable, but the linguine, indeed: the mussels and clams had virtually no flavor and seemed very watery; the sauce, if you can call it that, was a tasteless red swill. The dishes didn't even look like the photos online. To finish, I wanted to order a decaf coffee, but that too was sold out. I felt sorry for the only waiter present, who was clearly overworked: one person in the dining room wouldn't have been enough. He also seemed very untrained. My partner had already been there once before and had a good time, so it was probably a really bad evening. That said, after an experience like that, I wouldn't recommend it: the risk of finding yourself in a similar situation is too high. The bill at the end of this experience was also too high.

31/05/2026: We booked our wedding lunch for May 25th at 12:30 pm, with confirmation received via email. On the evening of May 24th, we also stopped by in person to ask if it was possible to have lunch inside, and they confirmed that there were no problems. On the day of the wedding, when we arrived at the restaurant, we found it closed, without any prior notification. This caused a serious organizational inconvenience on a very important day for us and forced us, not being from Trieste, to look at the last minute for another restaurant that could accommodate us. We are still waiting for a response from the management.
