21/01/2026: I had a great experience, the atmosphere was welcoming and very rustic, everyone was very friendly and eager to chat, and we paid 25 euros each for a lot of food. Total freedom, including smoking inside, a great vintage touch for those who appreciate it. Overall, a lovely experience, very human, it brings you back to the true pleasures of life, allowing you to unwind from this social alienation that's been rampant lately.

23/11/2025: Too expensive. You pay for the view.

01/10/2025: A typical Trieste buffet, featuring traditional local dishes. Ideal for a quick snack, a business lunch, or an after-work aperitif. Recommended are the homemade "liptauer" and the bread dumplings with goulash. Prices vary, of course, depending on the type of food (a quick but tasty snack or a more traditional lunch), but they're always reasonable.

03/02/2026: For a stay of one to two days, the hotel is certainly suitable. However, I would like to mention the positive and negative aspects of this hotel. Positive: The staff are still willing to help and resolve problems even relatively late in the evening. The reception is staffed around the clock, so someone is always available. Communication works well, even in English. Negative: Some rooms are positioned so that the only view from the window is of the high walls of the inner courtyard, and you don't get any light or sun all day. The breakfast is rather basic, and the same items are offered every day. Parking costs €30 per day. You note your license plate number at reception. The parking lot is secured by an electric barrier, which can be opened by staff at the push of a button. Unfortunately, the system for staff to compare the license plate number on the camera and open the barrier doesn't work. You have to get out of your car every time, cross the street to the hotel, and tell the staff that you would like to use the parking lot again. (Why is there a security camera then?) Some of the rooms have water damage, which is noticeable on the walls. All in all, if you don't require a very high standard of accommodation, you could book a short stay here. However, I wouldn't recommend it for a longer period.

29/01/2026: The hotel is a disaster. The rooms are very small, without a fridge. Parking in the yard costs 30e per day for cars, 15e for motorbikes. The air conditioning was locked so you couldn't turn it on. I asked the reception to turn it on. They accepted it, but they lied. They didn't turn it on. We were lucky that the night was colder so we managed to cool the room. The price was 110e for two people. All in all, avoid.

21/10/2025: A mini club that can hold perhaps 50 people. "Top nightlife."

25/11/2025: Stop for an aperitif after visiting Miramare Castle. Beautiful view of the marina.

22/11/2025: Very nice restaurant, great atmosphere. Typical Triestine dishes. Good location. Easily accessible by tram line 6 from Trieste.

15/10/2025: HYGIENE, THIS UNKNOWN (Via Gallina) I was drinking a coffee in B and I saw the lady next to me asking for the latte she'd already drunk halfway to be heated up. The bartender, without batting an eyelid, emptied it into one of the milk jugs, heated it with the spout she uses to make hot milk for all the coffees, and proceeded to calmly use that spout to make coffee for the others without even wiping it with a sponge. The sullen baristas are fine, the most expensive coffee in the neighborhood is fine, but after this DISGUSTING experience, I'll never come back.

07/08/2025: I was in Trieste (a very pretty city where I ate well everywhere) and I had the best croissant of my life. Then I had a delicious dessert whose name I can't remember.
