04/08/2026: But is this place real? And above all: why didn't I know? Perhaps because it's completely hidden by its very name. From the outside, and even when looking for it, it simply looks like an ice cream shop. Only those in the know know that behind the ice cream lies much more: a real beer garden in the woods, with food, beer, tables, lights, and a whole evening to enjoy. A sort of clandestine establishment, perfectly legal, protected by a sign that discourages anyone who hasn't already been informed. Those in on the secret laugh. The more experienced ones drink. The ignorant, like me, arrive perhaps thinking of a couple of scoops and end up studying the menu, trying to figure out how they've missed all this until now. The prices immediately help maintain concentration. A beer costs eight euros: slightly ambitious, let's say. But the ambience makes up for it. The service, too, is kind and pleasant, albeit with a concept of time perfectly consistent with that of an oasis. It's a little slow, yes. But you don't have to order a second beer anyway. And even when you change your mind, you're given enough time to reflect, reevaluate your financial priorities, and perhaps revert to your initial decision. So everything makes sense. The menu is unique, in a good way. We tried several options, and it's worth returning to continue exploring. It's not just the classic sandwiches, which are large, tasty, and more than decent. Where else do you find parmigiana a regular on the menu at a beer garden? The rooster is perhaps less revolutionary, but eating it with both hands, while simultaneously trying to balance the one beer allowed on the evening's budget, has a charm all its own. A beer. Literally. The place seems to have been plucked from a fairy tale set in the woods: the interior is entirely paneled in wood, while strings of lights drape across the branches and remain suspended overhead. A sensory compensation so effective that it can transform any dish coming out of the kitchen into a MasterChef final. The beauty is, it doesn't even need to be. The food is already good enough. The alcohol limit, however, is responsibly imposed by the price. Everything makes sense. So do we. Now that we've realized how good it is, we'll be back.

16/12/2025: Restrooms are inaccessible, a sign on the door says they're out of order. The smiling gas station attendant says they're dirty, then says they're new and out of order. A 24-hour service station on a highway, drivers forced to take a break can't continue and look for other options. In fact, the lawns around the area, and the area itself, are in a state you can only imagine. Everyone will decide whether to stop here or elsewhere, given the opportunity.

15/12/2025: It got one star for the parking space and one for the friendly service, but it's sad to have such a shitty management that the toilet doesn't work and isn't replaced in any way.

14/04/2026: Good products and decent location. The owner is the problem: visibly drunk, rude, and disrespectful to customers. Behavior incompatible with a business open to the public. A ruined experience. I won't be returning.

07/08/2026: Canadian visiting Italy. We grabbed some breakfast items for this store before hoping on a train out of the city. Prices were fair even for buying food at a restaurant inside a train station. They also understand that people purchasing from here are commuting either to or from the city so speed of service is important and we got that. Food was good, it served its purpose and we got what we needed for the train trip.

21/07/2026: I came in for a simple coffee and reported that the spoon had a visible stain. The answer I received was that it was limescale, not dirt. I found the explanation unconvincing, especially since a coffee stain can remain if it's not washed thoroughly. The main problem, however, was the way the complaint was handled: instead of simply replacing the spoon politely, the response seemed argumentative and almost mocking. In the end, I was given another spoon, but in a place open to the public, I expect greater attention to cleanliness and, above all, a more professional attitude toward the customer.

27/07/2026: I hate to leave such a bad review, but honestly, the atmosphere is nice and the breakfast is good, but the people behind the counter aren't very nice; they make you feel like they're tired of being there so early in the morning. I've read other people's reviews, and I don't think I'm the only one who feels this way.

12/02/2026: Bad, bad, hygienic, place from the '80s (if you're lucky). €1.40 for a mediocre coffee, and to top it off, the wrong change and a similar coin show to justify the "mistake."

13/07/2026: This is the third (and last) time we've ordered pizzas by phone for pickup. The first time, after a 90-minute wait, they recommended we get the ones (with rather strange flavors) from a customer before us who had rejected them due to the delay. The second time, we agreed on a time, and when we arrived, they'd already been on the counter for at least 20 minutes, semifreddo, of course. The third time, the same thing, even though we arrived 15 minutes early and had politely asked over the phone not to prepare them before the agreed-upon time. The icing on the cake: prices increased by a good 25% without a minimum price listed. See you when you're back on earth, not before.

13/07/2026: The pizza maker was friendly, but after 20 minutes he asked us again what we had ordered. His colleague, on the other hand, was a bit unfriendly (maybe it was a stressful day or just his personality). The pizzas were cheap and good. They were a little stingy with the meat, but very tasty.

12/08/2026: A very good restaurant for fish and seafood – excellent service – simply superb. I can't understand the negative reviews – they must have been written by fast-food eaters. Highly recommended.

16/06/2026: Horrible service, they don't know how to do their math, they accused us of deceiving the staff and paying for a table that wasn't ours. They found us 20 meters away and asked us if we'd made a mistake on the bill when it was them who had made a mistake in giving us the table. I defended the guy who paid and said it was their fault they got the bill wrong, and a waiter called me a BITCH and threatened to call the police when the guy was already in the bar trying to sort out the situation. I was indignant, so I followed them into the bar (I repeat, 20 meters away) and continued the discussion in a respectful tone. The waiter took the liberty of telling me to stay out and telling me I was no longer welcome in the bar. (The guy is my boyfriend.) There were eight of us, and they accused us of running away; they found us down the street, standing around talking to other people. Their reasoning was that we did it on purpose and that, having read the receipt, we left anyway and ignored the difference in money. In their opinion, we should have returned to the bar as "honest men." Honestly, no one checks the receipt the waiter gives you while everyone else is leaving. Shame on the staff for not defending us after such an insult, and especially shame on the waiter who dared to offend me in a way no one has ever dared. I will never, ever return out of respect for myself. Shame, shame, shame, disgusting people. Horrible experience. If I could, I'd have them all fired. Shame. My friends always defended me in a respectful and polite manner, but they too were verbally attacked by the waiter. Furthermore, other people we didn't know intervened to defend us after witnessing the shameful situation, and they too were dismissed by the waiter in a disrespectful and aggressive tone. The waiter in question is a thin, middle-aged man with short white hair; unfortunately, I wasn't able to find his name. I urge anyone considering going to this bar not only to avoid it and consider anything else, but to stay away if you don't want to be attacked by their mistake. I truly hope there are consequences for this absurd event.
