19/10/2025: Ever since a young lady started taking orders on the phone, there have been problems. One time, the pizza never arrived at all, and despite our calls, she said it was on its way, but it NEVER arrived. Other times, hours later, because she hadn't sent the order ahead. We've been getting pizza from them for years, but after a few months, we decided to give it another try. I called yesterday evening to order a large pizza at a specific time. I asked her repeatedly that if the time was a problem, we would do it differently, and she assured us it would arrive at 12:30, as requested. The delivery guy called me at 12:45 (after I called because it was already late) saying the young lady had given her the wrong house number. We gave him the right one, and she arrived at 12:55. We called back, and she blamed the delivery guy, then the pizza chefs, but also herself, who took the order. I repeat, it's happened over and over again since she's been here. We open the pizza and it's half crumpled. We grabbed the missing one, rushing out of the house because we were in a hurry. Oh, it's the guy with the scooter's fault. She says, her boss tells her, that it's fine anyway. This time I want to talk to her manager, because her business is being ruined by her employee's terrible work. NEVER AGAIN, no other option.

04/05/2026: Neither praise nor infamy, a touristy place with high prices. The service, in some ways, would discourage you from returning. They clear the table and put everything back on the tables inside, something I've never seen before. The food was average, nothing special.

02/05/2026: There were three of us—my pregnant sister, my mother, and I. They told us there was only one free table, otherwise we'd have to wait. We thought about it for a moment, then, considering how tired we were and how hungry we were (it was after 2:30 PM), we accepted. The lady told us we'd have to wait while they cleared all the tables. Meanwhile, two more tables became available, then three, then five. We asked if we could at least sit at one of the free tables. It was really hot, and we mentioned that there were two of us with big bellies. The annoyed lady told us categorically that we had to wait and turned her back on us. We waited at least half an hour, maybe longer. There was a ridiculous line after us. We went to the nearby bar and goodbye. I've never seen such rudeness. Probably because they have low ratings and reviews, they don't have much interest in improving their reputation. It's clear the customer counts for nothing.

14/05/2026: My friends and I stayed in room 120 on the night of April 9th, but what was supposed to be a school break turned into a sanitary and human nightmare. During the night, we were horrified to discover that the beds were infested with bedbugs. The insects were literally crawling all over us. After verifying the extent of the problem, we immediately contacted reception, concerned for our health and the risk of contaminating our luggage. The facility's response was shameful: The receptionist on duty initially denied the availability of other rooms, refusing even to provide us with emergency mattresses or clean pillows. We were also denied the possibility of using free beds in other rooms in our group, making baseless excuses. With no other options, we were forced to sleep on sofas and benches in the reception area, exposed to the cold, the constant clanking of doors, and the passing of strangers, with only a thin sheet to cover us. At the shift change, we discovered the bitter truth: the night receptionist admitted to her colleague that there were free rooms, but deliberately chose not to move us. At 6:50 a.m., we were derisively awakened by the staff, who told us to quickly disappear from the lobby to avoid the manager seeing us there, literally laughing in our faces. Conclusion: This isn't just about filth, but a complete lack of professional ethics. Leaving three girls out in the cold in a lobby, knowing there were clean beds available, is an act of gratuitous and unacceptable cruelty. I will report this incident to the health authorities and the Carabinieri. A place like this doesn't deserve to stay open another day. You are a danger to public health and a disgrace to the hotel industry.

09/05/2026: A 3/5 is defining very well my experience here. It is true that price was attractive! Besides that, yes it definitely for those on a set cap budget. Also about two hundred teens of a sporting school just checked in the evening and so the Restaurant was packed after they pour into the Restaurant for dinner. Fair enough, they have a right to enjoy life like all of us. My understanding is that is frequently happens as they all belong to a Sport School in the vicinity. Also the AC was not operating yet although the Room Temperature was 27°C overnight. Anyway, here I am, here I stay!

26/10/2025: Disappointing dinner. Small portions. Frozen products. Which is already shameful for a seaside place. I found pieces of plastic from the frozen clam package in the spaghetti. The spaghetti wasn't even tossed with the pasta. It was simply "resting" on top of the flavorless spaghetti. I mentioned this to the owner, who almost ignored my complaint and gave me a paltry €3.50 discount. The fish soup was inconsistent. The waitress was kind. I'd say...never again. €70 wasted.

26/10/2025: It's truly a miracle there are any brave customers left sitting here. The portions are small and the food is pre-cooked. Everything is tasteless, and the service is unpleasant. If you don't love your job, it's better to close down and change management.

30/08/2025: Very clean and good service. Welcoming atmosphere.

25/08/2025: We went twice for breakfast in this cafe. They prepared for us boiled eggs, which is very special since in Italy are more common the sweet choices for breakfast. The service was sweet. Convenient prices. No ambiance since that road is pretty busy.

27/04/2026: Unfortunately, compared to the past, the quality is poor....still generous portions, but everything is a bit sketchy...ravioli with little filling, hard gnocchi, spaghetti stuck together....bad impression even when ordering over the phone...little kindness, little courtesy...

12/04/2026: Good food except for the very dry and tasteless ravioli and the incompetent and arrogant staff, lazy and answered rudely for no reason and they didn't even give us chopsticks and fortune cookies for 30 cents 😨 despite the fact that in all the other places at least one is free per person

22/11/2025: I'm only giving a star for the pizzas, because the desserts aren't that great either. This is my first and last time here, and I agree with the negative reviews, especially regarding the staff's attitude. It's hard to tell they're no longer serving tables; they all seem listless (and certain comments they make between themselves confirm this impression), and they even allow themselves to comment on the customers. I'll share my firsthand experience: after a somewhat annoyed exchange between my partner and I over a personal matter, the waitress (not even in front of me, due to her lack of courage) asked my partner, "Is it always like this?" She added further comments about how, given my young age, I probably don't even wash the dishes at home. What was she supposed to say, when she has to serve at work and at home as well? I'm sorry to have to tell you that I've been living away from home for years, so I make do with whatever I can, although I certainly don't have to justify myself to you, so much so that even her colleague told her not to comment out loud. I understand that she's lazy at work since she also has to serve at home, but it's certainly not our fault that she chose it.

22/10/2025: On September 7th, I found a screw in the square, breaking half a tooth. I notified the appropriate authorities. It's unusual to find a screw in a pizza. As of today, they've disappeared and haven't been heard from again. I have the messages and calls and everything else. I ordered on the 7th week. As of today, they're gone. Well, I'll get a lawyer involved if you don't answer me. I broke a tooth. Thank you, at least you could have called me back, since you caused me harm. I've always taken after you...

06/10/2025: We ordered a Metro 4-flavor pizza for delivery, which was burnt on the bottom and tasted rancid. We left practically all of it after tasting it; it was truly awful. A terrible experience.

29/04/2026: I put one because there is no zero I call for 5 pizzas and they say 30/40 minutes but the pizzas arrive after 80 minutes I think it's not fair please a minimum of respect for the customers and I don't advise anyone to take pizza.

01/03/2026: I'm giving one star because I've been to all the caveja restaurants in Trieste and I've always had a good experience, but this one at Torri d'Europa needs to be supervised by someone in charge because this kind of behavior from the staff is not possible. I went there a few days ago for dinner and once I arrived at 7:17 pm I was told the exact words of the guy who works there "I can't make piadina because I have to leave at 8:00 pm because I finish my shift" even though the opening hours to the public are until 8:00 pm, a service like this is not possible because if a time is written it must be guaranteed at least until 10 minutes before closing time. I was very dissatisfied and annoyed by this.

19/01/2026: I recommend it. It's reasonably priced. It always arrives at room temperature, sometimes a little too hot.
