26/10/2025: The food was very good and the service excellent. My only complaint was the decision to keep the door open all evening. It was quite cold and bothered me quite a bit. Other than that, I'd definitely go back.

08/11/2025: A wonderful dinner experience for my partner and I. We were greeted warmly and promptly, and the fish menu was truly thoughtfully prepared, and everything was excellent. We'll gladly return to try the meat menu. Superb!

12/09/2025: The place is quaint, and you can eat outside in the courtyard, shaded by the trees. Service is fast, and the owners are attentive and courteous. The food is all authentic and high-quality; the cured meats and cheeses are excellent, as are the vegetables and crostini. The desserts are delicious. The prices are very fair. Definitely worth trying again. Reservations are recommended, as it's always crowded during opening hours.

26/08/2025: A wonderful experience, for the food (excellent quality cured meats, cheeses, bread, and desserts!), for the setting (the courtyard of a country house... like being with family!), for the punctual service (very fast, despite the many guests!), for the serene and joyful atmosphere that enriched our holiday! 08/12/2025: We arrived for lunch (two of us) without a reservation and were immediately seated at one of the few remaining tables. We opted for the mixed tasting menu and were pleasantly surprised. The staff was attentive without being intrusive and explained all the dishes to us, which were truly delicious.

09/11/2025: A historic trattoria with a wonderful atmosphere, the owner's passion is touching. It was a memorable lunch, with a selection of delicious first courses, especially the buttered fagottino, basil crepes, and purple gnocchi with curry cream. The porcina (roast pork) with chestnuts was also delicious. It's a shame we didn't get to try the desserts, because the portions are generous and our bellies were already full and happy.

21/10/2025: I asked locals where to get good gelato. Most suggested OGGI. I asked the staff for advice on what to pair with chestnut (a seasonal flavor), and they absolutely nailed it! Mascarpone cream + chestnut, truly a top combination.

14/11/2025: Perfect evening! I celebrated my birthday with a dinner for two at this fantastic restaurant. I couldn't have made a better choice: attentive, courteous service, a relaxed atmosphere, and sublime dishes. After a complimentary appetizer of prosecco and pumpkin flan, they delighted our palates with a truly delicious citrusy shrimp tartare. Top marks for the Angus beef morsels: juicy, flavorful, almost bursting with caramel; the fillet of beef melted in your mouth; excellent wine, all complemented by the lava stone platters. A particularly welcome note: the waiter remembered I'd called for a birthday; when they brought dessert, it arrived with a lit candle. When I made a reservation, he reserved a table for me near the piano—very romantic. A perfect location for a tête à tête or small groups. Two tartare appetizers, two meat main courses, a dessert, and a bottle of Refosco Peduncolo Rosso for €127. I'd say it's excellent value, even the timing between courses was perfect. I recommend it and will be back.

27/11/2025: I've been going there or ordering them ever since they opened. The best ravioli in Trieste (especially the chicken curry ones!) are juicy and incredibly filling. You can tell they put so much care into making them. I'll never get tired of them!

18/11/2025: Clean, simple, and welcoming. The menu is a perfect balance between variety and quantity, offering a good selection without being overwhelming. I really enjoyed the dishes; they were served quickly and I had no problems. The staff was welcoming and answered every question and explained every dish I had questions about. Highly recommended.

28/10/2025: I live in Trieste, where there's no shortage of ice cream shops, yet I travel a few miles and go to Jimmy's, which, as far as I'm concerned, is a cut above. The ice cream is really good, the portions are generous, and the location is excellent. The outdoor area with tables is very quiet, but you can also enjoy the ice cream while strolling by the sea. Highly recommended. I've been going there for many years now and it has never disappointed me.
