The excellent menu took us on a culinary journey through Lebanon (seven tastings to choose from, including meat, fish, and vegetables). Everything was truly excellent. Fantastic service. I can't wait to return.

04/01/2026: You have to look for it because it's just outside the center, but it's really worth it. I had dinner with my family at this restaurant and we had a great time. The service was courteous and friendly from start to finish. The welcome entree included a very welcome bubbly. The dishes were beautifully presented and excellent, both the meat and fish dishes (the octopus was excellent!). Tiramisu for all tastes (we had the classic, 😋). The price was right.

07/01/2026: The atmosphere is magnificent. Guests are greeted by the 91-year-old owner. We were very lucky to have a table available for reservation. The food is beyond praise. We will definitely be back!

01/02/2026: We found ourselves in this little place drawn by all the excellent reviews, and I must say it fully met our expectations!
Both the sandwiches and the beer selection are excellent, but the owner certainly makes the difference: he's friendly, courteous, and very professional. Overall, an impeccable experience! I'll definitely be back if I ever pass through Trieste again!

20/01/2026: A charming restaurant right in the city center, offering meat and fish dishes, plus a couple of vegetarian options. Everything was delicious, and the waiter was incredibly kind and friendly (plus the prices are fair). I highly recommend it and will definitely be back!

20/02/2026: A rip-off. Almost empty ravioli, very little filling, no salt, and arrived almost cold after 45 minutes.
And the delivery discount of at least €25 has been abolished.
All things considered, China Express is better: 4 shrimp ravioli for €4 and nice and full 😉
10/02/2026: The best ravioli ever. I love that every time I come back I always try something new. Excellent value. Friendly and fast staff. Highly recommended.

14/02/2026: A typical Indian restaurant on the surface, but with a wide variety of dishes to suit all tastes. Vegetarians and celiacs are also welcome. For the more adventurous, less "Italianized" versions of dishes are also available upon request, with more traditional, spicy, and spicy additions.
One of the best Indian cuisines you'll ever try, at a very affordable price. Definitely worth it! Highly recommended!

The vegetarian food at this nicely decorated Indian restaurant is of solid, decent quality, and the naan is good too. However, the portions are very small, almost tiny, and therefore the value for money, and consequently the rating, is only mediocre. The typical appetizer of three spices and paper-thin naan found in Indian restaurants was not available here; instead, you pay a surcharge (for nothing!). I've had significantly better experiences at other Indian restaurants – at a similar price point – for example, a few days ago in Valencia.

and that's not a bad price. Even though the gelato was tasteless and melted quickly, the clerks were so rude they almost seemed annoyed when I asked for the gelato. It melted in just a few seconds, and since I got dirty, I had to wash my hands in the sea because they didn't even provide a handkerchief,
which should be included even if the customer doesn't ask for it. And, it's no excuse to say, "You could have asked," because some people are embarrassed, and the fact that the clerks aren't at all polite doesn't help; this should be a given.
Terrible, not recommended.
P.S. I didn't choose the wrong gelato shop because the other one is clearly better.

04/02/2026: Great local atmosphere to taste Trieste delikatessen. Friendly, cozy and still very quick service, great crowd and amazing Fiori di zucchina in Pastella and outstanding low temperature cooked: Pancetta di Vitello al Refosco
02/01/2026: A somewhat pretentious restaurant in terms of quality/price… some things were tasty, like the eggplant meatballs and the chicken… others not so much, the gnocchi with goulash and guanciale (hard, the sauce was very paprika-heavy, and I doubt the guanciale was real)… the chicken rice was hard (although I don't know if that's how the variety they use here is supposed to be, but it wasn't to my liking). The service was rather inattentive and bland… The atmosphere is excellent, very well decorated and warm, and pets are allowed. The quality-price ratio is excessive for what it tries to be but can't deliver.
