24/10/2025: Top place. Welcoming atmosphere and really kind staff, who advise you on the best choices of dishes and in the choice of wines... We went for my wife's birthday, the staff, having understood that it was her birthday, served her the cake with a candle and playing the happy birthday song on the radio... Very pleasant surprise.. thank you

22/10/2025: First time at this place, where you can eat Lebanese cuisine. The staff was very friendly, offering us a welcome glass of prosecco when we arrived. Besides that, they take care of their customers...they even give you some advice...very helpful.

27/10/2025: The gelato here is truly excellent. The owners are wonderful people. It's a shame to want gelato and not try theirs. Update August 1, 2022: Special gelato.

26/10/2025: The food was very good and the service excellent. My only complaint was the decision to keep the door open all evening. It was quite cold and bothered me quite a bit. Other than that, I'd definitely go back.

12/10/2025: The pizzas are amazing. Very good value for money. The pizzas are generously topped. The price is very reasonable. I'd go back again and again. One pizza is almost too much for one person.

06/11/2025: I don't like to leave reviews that are more negative than usual, but in this case, I have to because they've made mistakes that are unacceptable in the hospitality industry. The first is forgetting the details of a customer who's visiting from another country, as is my case. A month in advance, there was prior communication by email in the local language, with details, reservation, requests, etc. Everything was fine. When we arrived, they offered us a table facing the kitchen (the smell of meat was overwhelming, and it was very good, by the way, and the smoke stung our eyes). It wasn't even reserved; it was a table that just happened to be free. Since we had specified that it was an anniversary dinner, they could have chosen a more intimate table, as there were others available, but they gave us the first one that was free. Basically, we could have just arrived without a reservation and eaten straight to the table. What annoyed me the most was that I specified it was an anniversary and asked for a little something extra with the dessert, but they completely forgot. Anyway, I'm leaving this review so they'll be more considerate of their customers, especially those who come from another country, go to the trouble of making a reservation a month in advance in the local language, and then get nothing done. The food was very good; that's the only positive point.

28/10/2025: Excellent mix of atmosphere and conviviality, it was my baptism of fire with Balkan cuisine and it went very well also thanks to the waitress who guided us in this experience with great advice.

12/09/2025: The place is quaint, and you can eat outside in the courtyard, shaded by the trees. Service is fast, and the owners are attentive and courteous. The food is all authentic and high-quality; the cured meats and cheeses are excellent, as are the vegetables and crostini. The desserts are delicious. The prices are very fair. Definitely worth trying again. Reservations are recommended, as it's always crowded during opening hours.

26/08/2025: A wonderful experience, for the food (excellent quality cured meats, cheeses, bread, and desserts!), for the setting (the courtyard of a country house... like being with family!), for the punctual service (very fast, despite the many guests!), for the serene and joyful atmosphere that enriched our holiday! Thank you so much... I recommend everyone to try it!!!

09/10/2025: The service was quite good, friendly, prompt and kind. I had the tuna steak with sesame, but it was very fishy and not edible. The salad with bacon and cheese was good and the tuna tartar was very good. I perhaps had a bad piece of tuna.

15/09/2025: Very good and generous dishes. I tried the delicious pasta dishes: with mussels in white sauce and with anchovy pesto; excellent. Then the fried sardines...a very generous portion and excellent. The house white wine in a carafe...excellent. Overall, I recommend it.

16/10/2025: A historic restaurant in Trieste, where many famous people have dined. The interior decor is a bit dated, but it has a lovely outdoor terrace. I first visited over 40 years ago. The quality has remained unchanged over the years, and it's always been run by the same family with the care and sense of responsibility that comes with carrying on such an important tradition. In addition to serving traditional Triestine dishes, they also offer many contemporary specialty options. A must-see on the beautiful Trieste hills. The quality/price ratio, in my opinion, is excellent.

13/10/2025: If I can give 6 stars I would do it. Exceptional food experience, exceptional service, exceptional ambience. All the compliments to the cook, to attentive waiter Eric , and the rest of staff. We have been given even complimentary dishes (pancake with basil and parmesan). By far, best restaurant in Friuli region so far. We will be back definately!!! Vladimir

21/10/2025: I asked locals where to get good gelato. Most suggested OGGI. I asked the staff for advice on what to pair with chestnut (a seasonal flavor), and they absolutely nailed it! Mascarpone cream + chestnut, truly a top combination.

18/10/2025: The best Tiramisu and Pistachio icecream I have ever had. The rest of the tastes was also delicious, but the tiramisu was wow!

28/10/2025: I live in Trieste, where there's no shortage of ice cream shops, yet I travel a few miles and go to Jimmy's, which, as far as I'm concerned, is a cut above. The ice cream is really good, the portions are generous, and the location is excellent. The outdoor area with tables is very quiet, but you can also enjoy the ice cream while strolling by the sea. Highly recommended. I've been going there for many years now and it has never disappointed me.

14/11/2025: Perfect evening! I celebrated my birthday with a dinner for two at this fantastic restaurant. I couldn't have made a better choice: attentive, courteous service, a relaxed atmosphere, and sublime dishes. After a complimentary appetizer of prosecco and pumpkin flan, they delighted our palates with a truly delicious citrusy shrimp tartare. Top marks for the Angus beef morsels: juicy, flavorful, almost bursting with caramel; the fillet of beef melted in your mouth; excellent wine, all complemented by the lava stone platters. A particularly welcome note: the waiter remembered I'd called for a birthday; when they brought dessert, it arrived with a lit candle. When I made a reservation, he reserved a table for me near the piano—very romantic. A perfect location for a tête à tête or small groups. Two tartare appetizers, two meat main courses, a dessert, and a bottle of Refosco Peduncolo Rosso for €127. I'd say it's excellent value, even the timing between courses was perfect. I recommend it and will be back.
