19/08/2024: Six stars. An ordinary, modest place a little out of the way, but real Italian pizza from a wood-fired oven. There were a lot of fresh ingredients, I was hungry, but I only ate half of it and was full. The boss packed the rest for us to take away and gave us three drinks for free.

15/08/2024: Great pizza, the best I've ever eaten! The owner does not spare any additions or cheese, which makes the difference. The prices are very affordable and the portion is so large that it is difficult to eat the pizza for one person. Additionally, a very nice owner. You can feel like a "local" there, because from time to time people from the street came in just to exchange a few words with the owner. The only minus I see is the lack of a toilet and air conditioning, but compared to the pluses it seems insignificant to me. While in Slovenia, we preferred to leave the route and eat in this place again rather than look for something locally. I recommend!

30/08/2024: Found on the Internet, tried in the "dark". Excellent and jovial welcome, well organised, particular and pleasant environment. Excellent choice of food and drinks, tried the sea bass with cherry tomatoes, a delicacy. I also recommend it because it is well located in the city center. Only recommendation: book promptly. Normal prices, quality in power. I'll be back.

25/08/2024: Absolutely amazing place. 100%authentic traditional Italian food. Menu on a board translated by the owner. House wine superb, all food superb and very reasonably priced too.

22/08/2024: Suban The sodium vapor lamp shone softly on electric wire. Lackadaisical vines of wine, ignoring nightly moths dancing wild in their quest for immolation. Attentive, red wine lapping. Quiet waiters audible only by their crunching steps, on pebbles surrounded by stone, sea, trees and vapor. And my heart tapping wild.

31/08/2024: I was with my family in this very particular place, a sort of musical time machine, we loved it. The cuisine based on fresh fish depending, it seems, on the daily catch, is truly excellent, only this is worth the road to come to Trieste about 250 km from our home, welcoming staff and very affordable prices, I highly recommend tasting the spaghetti Barcolana and the orange-filled ravioli in smoked tuna carbonara, well, goodness,... Place and cuisine definitely worth trying

11/08/2024: Absolutely recommended! Food and wine experience above all expectations. Courtesy, professionalism, cleanliness of the place, attention to the customer, everything at the top. As soon as we sat down we were offered some very welcome fresh bubbles. We entrusted ourselves to the waiter for a tasting menu of their Lebanese specialities, ranging from vegetarian foods to meat and fish. All very tasty, accompanied by an excellent Lebanese barricaded white wine. I will definitely return

10/08/2024: I'm thinking of how many epithets I can use to praise this restaurant and whatever I write will not be enough because I am really delighted. All the more so because the occasion for which I visited this restaurant was special for me and I will certainly remember it. We chose a fish menu (there is also a meat and vegetarian menu) for two people and we got 7 different, very tasty fish plates with a lot of fat, decorated, but no less important, with a top-quality white wine that goes very well with the dish. At the very beginning, we drank sparkling wine as an aperitif, which further raised the event to a higher level. At the end, we were treated to a digestif. The service and the staff itself is a special story and that is to be commended. Very helpful and unobtrusive. Just as it should be.

21/07/2024: An ice cream worth trying. A large selection of species, beautifully decorated and friendly staff. A ball €1.30 and they are not stingy when they put it. 6 years later, still the same quality. Ok, the price is no longer current.

27/08/2024: Passing through Trieste with friends, we found this restaurant convinced by the good reviews. They have done nothing but confirm themselves. There were 5 of us. My girlfriend and I divided an appetizer, took a first course each and divided a second course. At the end of lunch we were packed and everything was really of excellent quality, very good, I even complimented it. The ham in the appetizer was exquisite, the pasta, in particular the gnocchi with goulash and bacon, were very tasty and finally the Ljubljanska... I was delighted: crunchy breading, filling with an intense flavor and also abundant I must say, accompanied with chips fries cut into rounds (not frozen) and a sauce. The only "negative" note was that the service wasn't very fast, but to make up for it they also offered us the last remaining tiramisu. Personally, if waiting a little means eating like this, the wait is more than worth it: quality requires attention. Quality - price: Excellent, highly recommended: taking an average and considering that we ate a lot of things (starter and first course or just the second course with side dish was enough) drinks + half starter + first course + half second course in the end the total is around 40 euros each, but you can easily stay about 30. For this quality, less would be impossible. Place: cute, spartan, but well kept. Service: apart from the timing, rightly not fast food-like, the staff were courteous, kind and helpful.

24/08/2024: A place with attention to every detail in the center of Trieste, evocative. We stopped for a quick aperitif of his canapés. Unfortunately it is not open for dinner and we were not able to taste its cuisine, it certainly would have been worth it!

30/08/2024: Place for real natives. Fresh fish at super honest prices. Absolutely try the cold and hot platter. The staff and owner are friendly and always able to give excellent advice on the various dishes of the day.

24/07/2024: Very tasty pizza, very nice service, relatively inexpensive. Easy to set up, but that's not the point. Locals ate there too. Absolute recommendation. Huge pizza selection that overwhelmed us. If you had any special requests, they were easily fulfilled.

29/07/2024: Super recommended! The cappuccino with vegetable milk is excellent, the vegan pain au chocolat is amazing! Very nice place both inside and out, it reminded me a lot of the Pâtisserie with coffee maker in Paris!

27/07/2024: But can you understand the suffering of a person who lives in the building where the Charlotte pastry shop is located? 😄 In the summer, when we all sleep with the windows open, around 5 in the morning the air fills with the most heavenly scent of freshly baked sweets you can imagine.......! It's a dream!😍 And it doesn't disappoint during the day either, with incredible desserts, always different depending on the research to which the young pastry chefs dedicate themselves, a wide variety of vegan desserts too, and although the place is small in size, it is very pleasant to sit at the table for a chat with friends. They also offer a gift voucher service, which is a very nice idea.

24/08/2024: Appena giunte a Trieste io e mia sorella, prendiamo l'autobus dall'aeroporto per poi scendere a Largo Roiano, ci incamminiamo per raggiungere l'albergo che sembrava no arrivare mai. Faceva molto caldo, eravamo digiune dalla mattina. Passiamo davanti questa gelateria con l'idea di bere un caffè, visto che era pomeriggio inoltrato e di li a poco avremmo cenato. Ma quando siamo entrate siamo state ipnotizzate dal bancone dei gelati!!! Chiedo senza troppe speranze se c'erano anche gusti vegan e siiii svariate opzioni!!! E vai di cono gigante con cioccolato fondente all'arancia e uva fragola !!! Una goduria indescrivibile, assaggiare per credere !!! Abbiamo iniziato alla grande il nostro soggiorno triestino!!! Aggiungo gentilezza e cordialità dei proprietari!!!
