25/12/2024: Excellent fish lunch: I had the fish starter (the best dish in my opinion), tagliolini with canestrelli and pepper cream and finally baileys tiramisu. All delicious for just over €40 per person (wine included). Too bad there are only a few seats, but trust me, it's really worth it!

16/01/2025: TOP restaurant in the center of Trieste, excellent quality/price ratio, for €65 we ate: an appetizer (2 bruschettas with cream of creamed cod and olive), two second courses, two desserts, water and a glass of wine. We had such a good time that we had dinner there twice in our 3 days in Trieste: a restaurant with attention to detail with very kind staff and, above all, excellent dishes in their mix of originality and tradition (you DO NOT have the impression of being in one of those tourist places where you can order the usual banal things that please everyone regardless). Highly recommended, well done, well done!

06/02/2025: Among the best breweries in the center of Trieste. Wide choice of super quality craft beers. Wide rotation of beers. Friendly and very qualified staff. Classic setting for a pub or pub. Excellent for eating while sitting at the table or even just for an aperitif at the counter. One of my favorites ever.

13/01/2025: We went to Adonis for the first time for a dinner as a couple (and for the first time in a Lebanese restaurant). The experience was fantastic, from the cuisine to the professional service of the waitress and the owner, who gave us a taste of two different Lebanese wines to choose which one was best for our tastes. We chose the Salto in Lebanon menu which allows you to choose 7 dishes from the menu, one of these can also be the trio of sauces. We recommend jweneh (wings with garlic sauce), lamb kibbeh (amazing meatballs), fatit aubergines (bowl with yogurt sauce, aubergines, fried Arabic bread and pomegranate). We will also return to try some Lebanese bitters, included in the Salto in Lebanon menu (unfortunately not available that evening). The place is absolutely worth trying something different!

05/01/2025: This is my first time trying Lebanese cuisine. I liked it 😉especially the octopus and tartare. Menu for every taste. The beef is very soft and tasty 😋 The staff is friendly 😊

09/02/2025: Trattoria Suban ..via Emilio Comici 2 .. Trieste..has outdoor tables, has a beautiful fireplace and also offers a nice children's menu..the place has rustic interiors with exposed beams, beautiful wrought iron chandeliers, and a beautiful outdoor area. This trattoria is the real point of reference in the city, it is family run and you can taste all the flavors of the best meats...and you can eat many dishes linked to the local culture. For example...crespelle alla mandriera, duck pesto with sauces and Karst herbs, marinated beef with strawberries in vinegar and also a good cut, grilled on the brazier, good local cooked hams, hood with rice and paprika, a delicious Hungarian cake, palacinke, and a good grandmother's walnut potentina, and together you can drink excellent wines.. Among the desserts... strudel, dumplings, goulash, and their dessert of the pope". If you too pass through Trieste, keep this in mind and you will be thrilled.
