01/05/2025: First courses: Spaghetti with mussels and clams, I get a bucatini with mussels and clams. All very salty, very little parsley. No chilli and you can't taste the cherry tomatoes. Messy dish. Second course: mixed fried food, almost all anchovies (dried and not fresh), good and well-seasoned salad. The bread is excellent. In general the price is not excessive, but the quality was not adequate. This is not meant to be a negative, we will return to understand better.

26/04/2025: Nice trattoria, excellent food at more than fair prices (also given the super portions). In the kitchen the owner and his sister, in the dining room the owner's wife, one more kind and helpful than the other. Although a little out of the way, it is definitely worth a visit.

15/09/2024: The Ai Confini restaurant, located directly on the golf course in Tarvisio, is truly a culinary gem! Here, good, honest cuisine with regional products is offered on a manageable menu. The number of tables is limited, so it is absolutely recommended to make a table reservation. The price-performance ratio is great! Of course, Italian is spoken, but also Slovenian, German and English. Anyone who can't resist the temptation to divide several dishes onto two plates will be generously rewarded with this option at no extra charge. This means you can enjoy several starters together. The drinks menu is very remarkable and includes all of Italy, a few French and all at really moderate prices. We would be happy to come back here next time and be very hungry. The fifth star for the kitchen in the rating comes about because the frequency of strawberry crumble on many dishes was not necessarily appropriate due to the acidity... but that shouldn't detract from the overall impression... 👍 🤗 PS: If you like my review, I'd be happy to give it a thumbs up! 😁👍

31/05/2025: Dear bus drivers!!!! You bring (people) explain and tell your passengers that there are toilets in the grill car for FREE, let them not go and look for a place between the trucks where they can empty themselves... Oh, the whole bus can smell like that immediately

01/05/2025: Un'ottima scoperta nel cuore di Lignano! Osteria Corso 21 ci ha accolti con un’atmosfera rustica ma calda e accogliente, perfetta per una serata informale e genuina. Il menù offre piatti abbondanti e ben curati: abbiamo gustato come antipasto un'insalata di polpo freschissima e ben bilanciata, e a seguire degli spaghetti allo scoglio ricchi e saporiti e uno spaghetto al ragù di polpo. Entrambi ottimi, ben cotti ed abbondanti. Il servizio è stato cordiale e attento, senza mai essere invadente. Un posto in cui si sente la passione per la cucina e l’attenzione per l’ospite. Ci torneremo sicuramente!

13/05/2025: Truly a very good choice 👌🏻 the Hotel Ristorante Pizzeria "Al Posta" ⭐️⭐️⭐️, a valid structure where we had lunch last Sunday as part of our day trip to Casarsa. Arriving on site at 12.30 🕧 after booking 📞, we parked 🚘 almost in front of the entrance since on holidays ✝️ the parking spaces 🅿️ along via Valvasone are free 🆓️. Once we crossed the access tunnel we were immediately very impressed 😮 by the splendid internal courtyard (see photos 📸 attached 📎) which the restaurant also overlooks. We soon reached 🚶🏻🚶🏻‍♀️🚶🏼‍♀️ the latter (there is a separate entrance from the hotel) meeting a manager 👩🏻 who immediately accompanied us to our table at the back of the room and then offered us a welcome prosecco 🥂 (alternatively, a non-alcoholic drink was also available 🍹). Here we also met the person who seemed to us to be the head waiter, a kind and distinguished boy 🧑🏻 who, very cordially, gave us the price lists 📋 and then collected our order. The choice fell on three first courses based on busiate (with the flavors "Sicilian pesto", "speck/pistachios" and "Trapanese") and as many appetizers (raw ham platter, Friulian appetizer and grilled frico) served as second courses. To drink, a liter of sparkling water 💧 and three glasses of red 🍷 (two Cabernet Sauvignon and one Franc). Everything was really tasty 😋 and the portions were generous too. Of particular note, the creaminess of the sauce for my busiate (a type of pasta originally from Trapani) based on speck and pistachios, in addition to the perfect balance between flavor and delicacy. Also worthy of note, however, were the mushrooms 🍄 in a frico crust (part of the Friulian appetizer) and, more generally, all the other dishes. To conclude, a couple of desserts (chocolate cake with a soft heart and salted caramel cheesecake) and three espresso coffees ☕️. Impeccable 🔝 the service offered by the kind members of staff, with a special mention for the very kind manager 🧑🏻 mentioned above. With the same I then paid the bill at the counter by card 💳 (by the way, excellent value for money by virtue of the 107.50 euros 💶 total). Bathrooms 🚾 clean and tidy 🚽🧻🧴. As mentioned, the very green 🌳🪴 internal courtyard is splendid, equipped with tables, chairs, wooden benches made with pallets and a large pergola for outdoor events (there was in fact one in progress). Strategic location in the immediate vicinity of the "Pier Paolo Pasolini" Study Center, the main center of interest in the center of Casarsa and, not by chance, our afternoon destination. We definitely liked it so WE PROMOTE IT WITH FULL MARKS 💯.

14/03/2025: Servizio eccellente grazie a ragazzi meravigliosi. Una serata con amici, mangiato bene, sia pizza che primi piatti. Ciò che ha fatto la differenza è stata però la serietà e competenza che Jary ha dimostrato nel servizio, sempre molto cordiale e gentile; ci ha accontentato in tutte le nostre richieste (che sono state molte…) e col supporto di Daniel, anche lui molto cordiale e professionale, la nostra serata è stata veramente piacevole, come il conto: adeguato e onesto. Consigliatissimo !!

23/05/2025: We were here two nights in a row and we were a very large group. Nevertheless, the pizzeria reserved a room for us and the service was fast. The waitress was very nice. The first night we had pasta with tomato sauce and then chicken legs with chips. The second night they gave us pasta with tomato sauce again and as a second course we had hamburgers and French fries. The hamburger was not a great success... The tiramisu and the profiteroles are highly recommended. I did not give the maximum rating to the environment because in the innermost room there is no cell phone reception.

05/03/2025: Personale molto gentile soprattutto la giovane cameriera bionda (di cui non ricordo il nome). Le patatine col formaggio erano molto buone, la salsa al formaggio squisita e la salsa d’accompagnamento sposava divinamente. Ho apprezzato molto la disponibilità di un panino senza glutine che era buono(visto che quelli in commercio generalmente sanno di poco). Carne di alta qualità e cotta alla perfezione. Unica pecca era la dimensione ma non faccio testo vista la fame che avevo. Da gemonese, tornerò volentieri! Continuate così!

09/03/2025: Como recomendó el conserje en nuestro (excelente) hotel en Trieste, esto fue acogedor, buena comida, super elección de vinos por copa y buena relación calidad-precio. ¿Qué más se puede pedir? Tuvimos una comida variada y magníficamente ejecutada - el sarro de ternera y el pollo lento - cocinado eran ambos sobresalientes - y cuando el conserje del hotel y sus colegas llegaron para su almuerzo, entendimos su recomendación! No lo dudes.

29/04/2025: Excellent experience at Shi's! The restaurant is modern and well looked after, with a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. The sushi is simply delicious: very fresh fish. The staff is friendly, professional and always available. Excellent value for money. I will definitely be back!
