The situation has definitely improved. The pizzas and other dishes remain excellent: carefully prepared, plentiful, and well-cooked. The service is friendly and fast. The prices are very reasonable.
I don't know if they still offer home delivery, which often caused me frustration, and I don't know the delivery times for takeout.
23/11/2025: We stopped at this place by chance. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by the owner's smile.
A friendly place, with very kind and knowledgeable staff.
We ate the off-menu items recommended to us and were thrilled.
Porcellina with potatoes in a tecia, 10 euros 🔝🔝🔝🔝

12/10/2025: If, like me, you're visiting the small pumpkin village of Degano Zucche in September/October (or if you're in the area for other reasons), I recommend lunch at this trattoria. Denis's hospitality and kindness are rare; he treated me and my family like friends; he prepared an excellent appetizer and an equally excellent gnocchi first course. We chatted for a while and exchanged numbers, promising to bring him some jota, a typical Trieste dish, next time. See you soon!
13/05/2025: It's a bar. I only come here for a coffee or a glass of wine. I've only had a few snacks here. I can't say what the food is like or whether you need to make a reservation.

09/11/2025: We found the restaurant very authentic. I'm not sure what one could criticize. Apparently, some tourists didn't observe Italian etiquette. And they don't serve pineapple pizza here either.
08/11/2025: Located right on the canal in Grado is this really good and friendly restaurant, which belongs to the fishermen's cooperative next door, where the fishermen deliver their catch daily. I've been here so many times and there's never been anything to complain about. But be sure to book well in advance during the summer, as it's very popular.

13/12/2025: We went to this trattoria in Cusignaco for lunch on Friday, December 12, 2025, after calling ahead to reserve a table. Unfortunately, the welcome wasn't the best: upon our arrival, the staff was unprofessional and seated us at a table right next to the front door.
The door kept opening and closing as people came and went, letting in cold air on an already chilly day. We politely asked to be moved, as there were other free tables, but our request was denied.
The same tables remained for the entire hour and a half of our lunch! As for the food, we ordered two carbonaras: considering the restaurant bills itself as a Roman restaurant, we expected better quality.

She prepares coffee and drinks with care and professionalism, and manages to make every customer feel welcome. The atmosphere of the place improves thanks to her helpfulness and friendly manner.

19/10/2025: The atmosphere is charming, the staff is friendly, and for food, besides the pizza, I recommend the club sandwich. The only downside is that it's cold in the winter, so I recommend dressing warmly.

29/03/2025: Prima della ristrutturazione era un posto ottimo dove poter gustare un gran pollo allo spiedo e non solo… non vi è rimasto nemmeno il ricordo.
Se andate avanti così non arrivate a Natale… come si fa’ a rovinare qualcosa che funzionava da anni in sto modo…
10/02/2025: Polecam każdemu kogo złapał głód wracając do kraju spróbować kurczaka z prawdziwego grilla w rozmarynie. Pracując jako kierowca minimum raz w tygodniu odwiedzałem to miejsce i nigdy się nie zawiodłem.Dla osób oczekujących porcelanowej zastawy proponuję jechać dalej do Austrii bo tutaj tego nie znajdziecie. Smak i klimat tego miejsca jest dla wielu wielkim doświadczeniem kulinarnym jak i wspomnieniem lat 90.

12/12/2025: A very typical Trieste buffet, with a typical clientele, for those who want to enjoy a bit of the rustic Trieste lifestyle. The counter features cicchetti (small appetizers) and a menu featuring typical Trieste-style dishes. For lunch, I had a lovely large plate of cooked ham, porcini mushrooms, sauerkraut, and horseradish—all delicious! Friendly staff, excellent location in the city center.
13/11/2025: Perfect, both the hot dishes offered and the canapés and the like, not to mention the good wines. Everything is always excellent, as is the fast and always very friendly service.

09/12/2025: A welcoming place where I enjoyed an aperitif in the bar area and then finished with a very good pizza; I ordered the Montanara pizza. Friendly staff and reasonable prices: 2 proseccos, 2 Aperol spritzes, 1 water, 1 pizza for a total of €32.
