10/01/2026: I'm in mourning... The best pizzeria ever! The entire staff is wonderful! Everyone is attentive, kind, and smiling. The gluten-free pizza is spectacular, and the regular one is simply stunning! Unfortunately, the sword of Damocles has fallen, decreeing its closure. It's truly a shame, especially for all the staff who will be laid off after making this pizzeria what it is.

16/11/2025: A small, well-kept bar. I would always return for the kindness and hospitality of the staff. Ciabatta with delicious, carefully filled prosciutto. Good croissants and coffee. Adjacent street parking. Prices are reasonable.

27/03/2026: Truly excellent pizza with excellent ingredients. I recommend the pizzas made with locally sourced ingredients. Superlative, knowledgeable, and friendly staff. After your meal, I HIGHLY recommend trying the traditional liqueur...you won't be able to stop!

23/03/2026: Beautiful restaurant inside the Avalon spa. They serve both pizza and à la carte. The dishes are very tasty, with a well-curated selection of wines. The staff is friendly, and the owner is very attentive to his customers. I highly recommend it.

22/03/2026: The restaurant is located in the city center, on a one-way street where parking isn't easy. The ambiance is 1980s-style. The menu is interesting. We ate well. The appetizer is recommended. I appreciated that even though the risotto was for a minimum of two people, thanks to the fact that someone else ordered it, the kitchen accepted my single order anyway. The quality/price ratio is fair.

30/01/2026: The new location is absolutely stunning! There's this large table where you can sit wherever you like: grab your pizza and head to your table. For me, since I went with my daughter, it's perfect: no endless waits for the waiter and a casual atmosphere where you don't have to worry about your little one moving around a bit. The pizza remains fantastic, light and easy to digest as always. A great idea for a quick but quality evening!

12/10/2025: Not every day is sunny in the high mountains, and on that particular day, Lateis was wrapped in a gray cloak of fog. After a long walk, stepping into Pa' Krhaizar felt like entering the warm embrace of an old stone house—a sanctuary that smelled of wood and forgotten stories. Though the view of Lake Sauris, which usually spreads out from the terrace like a watercolor, was hidden behind a veil, the mere thought of it hung in the air, promising a beauty concealed behind the clouds. But in that moment, the warmth inside was more important than the vision outside. Then, that small miracle happened, the kind that stays in the heart longer than any sunlit scene. The bill for the refreshment was so small, yet you only had a large banknote. A moment of awkwardness, quickly resolved by the gentle smile of your waitress. She didn't ask for the change; she didn't fuss about the exchange. She simply waved her hand dismissively at the sixty cents that were missing from the full amount. That gesture, tiny in monetary value, was gigantic in kindness. "Let it be," the silence—and her eyes—said. Thank you, not just for the rest in that beautiful house, but for that moment of pure, unadadulterated human kindness. On a foggy day, that was the clearest and most beautiful view of all: a glimpse into the generosity that makes the mountains even higher and the stay in Lateis truly unforgettable.

03/02/2026: The last time I went was as a child, when they still ran the Alpe Adria restaurant. To take a trip back in time, I decided to go again, and it feels like a trip back in time, which is certainly not a bad thing. Excellent pizza, good prices, no-frills service, but I applaud the tenacity of the owners, who are still there after so many years. The only small negative was that they didn't have meringue pie, a worthy end to a pizzeria lunch.
