21/03/2025: Great food. They have one vegetarian menu option (mushroom gratin + vegetables side dish) and was super tasty. The meat/fish eaters in the group were happy too. Friendly staff and quick service. Not too crowded.

There are about 3-4 menu items of the day for about 8 euros per meal (each menu is slightly different, but in any case, it is 10 euros less as of March 2025), and above all, the owner is friendly and speaks good English! On the first day, I went there not long before dinner was finished, and even though they had cleaned up everything, they made cicchetti for me. When I went to eat lunch today, they recognized me right away, said hi again, and explained the menu in full. When I said I wanted to try Trieste's traditional food, he also recommended a menu!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰

07/03/2025: While traveling around Gorizia I stopped for lunch in this tavern. Top notch cured meats and cheeses, very honest traditional foods. The surprise was meeting Luca, the owner or "paron" of the place: an authentic host who enthuses me and moves me when discussing very local wines. It had never happened to me to leave a restaurant loaded with bottles and with a smile on my face.

09/02/2025: The place is not very large inside, but it has several tables outside which certainly attract a lot of people during the nicest days. We ate 5 hot chocolates, 3 of which with cream, 1 puff pastry with Nutella, 1 Nutella muffin and 1 brioches with freshly filled pistachio cream. All good. The cost is probably a little high, but the gentlemen behind the counter are very kind and affable which certainly doesn't hurt so, also considering the management costs, the price is reasonable.

08/02/2025: Small piadina shop in the center of Cordenons in front of the ice cream shop. Very small place so it is important to arrive early to be able to eat on site. Light, crumbly and full of seasoning piadina!!! We opted for the peasant and the sausage and potatoes... Very good and really filling. For dessert we treated ourselves to the Milka white chocolate roll... HEAVENLY. Affable and kind owner. It was a pleasure to eat there. Really low and honest prices.
