The redesign of the space was very successful, a beautiful blend of modern and traditional. In addition to the delicious food, we also noticed the beautiful windows they installed. They chose Internorm, which shows great attention to detail. Highly recommended!

Traditional food cooked with passion and care. This newly refurbished restaurant (February 2026) and "osteria" is a great choice for those travelling through the Friuli Venezia Giulia hills. For starters, we chose the baccala' mantecato (dried, mashed up cod with cream) and prosciutto crudo from San Daniele. The pasta al ragu' is delicious. Worth also visiting the little neighbouring town of San Daniele itself, the home of some of the best prosciutto crudo Italy has to offer. The Merlot house wine was amazing. Check out the opening times before setting off.

The cod has been exceptional so far. I called this evening to book a table for February 7, 2026, and they told me it was closed due to a change of management. I hope it's just as good with the new opening.
