20/12/2025: With an uncontrollable craving for fish, we went for sure......... "Al Paradiso"!!! Excellent shrimp cocktail and a 1.6kg sea bass that can't be described as delicious!!!! The dessert was delicious too!!!! Friendly and courteous as always!!!!

13/12/2025: The restaurant has a panoramic view and a tidy atmosphere. I chose a fish menu, but the experience wasn't satisfying. The dishes were well-prepared, but the flavors were very muted, giving the impression of stale ingredients. In particular, the grilled tuna steak, while visually well-cooked, lacked aroma and flavor. The first courses and appetizers were also disappointing. Service was consistent. The bill was higher than the perceived quality, especially considering the fish. The restaurant is suitable for its setting and tranquility, but I wouldn't choose it for seafood. My mistake.

19/09/2025: Everything was delicious. One small flaw: why don't you increase the variety of side dishes? Raw vegetables, and French fries seem a bit lacking! Cooked vegetables? Baked potatoes? Grilled vegetables? It can be done...

13/10/2025: Absolutely avoid It used to be safe because of its low prices, but now not even that. The place is dirty, the pizza has deteriorated, and the waiters are increasingly rude. Long waits, zero organization, and a total lack of interest in customers. Total disappointment.

08/08/2025: Good morning, I was here the other night and was quite surprised (in a negative way). The air was unbreathable, really too stuffy and hot. Even if you're there on December 31st, it's best to wear a tank top or you'll sweat. Let's get to the weak point: the pizza. I've never seen such a thin pizza; it was almost transparent (maximum 2 mm); the taste matched the appearance. If you're passing this street, keep going.

10/11/2025: Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from the start. I had already asked over the phone to eat outside, but with the option of moving inside in case of bad weather. I was told that wasn't possible. I had also asked about the availability of high chairs for the children, but was told they were all already booked, so we had to bring our own. When we arrived at the restaurant, they sat us at a table without glasses or cutlery, despite having previously informed us that there were six adults, an eight-year-old girl, and three six-month-old babies. The order was taken without a paper menu, everything was spoken verbally, without knowing the prices or the details of the dishes. We asked for a large appetizer, but were brought a small one. The service was slow and confusing, with several errors and delays. When it came to the bill, we found inconsistencies: a cover charge had been charged even for the infants (who ate only baby food brought from home) and additional side dishes had never been ordered. After we reported it, we were refunded €8 in cash, but soon afterward, in the parking lot, they approached us and charged us another €18, due to their mistake on the "Lubianske" (Libianske) lines. Overall, a poorly organized experience, with little clarity, confusing management, and rude attitudes. It's a shame, because the place has potential, but the service and customer management were truly disappointing.

03/11/2025: We arrived late on a Sunday, four of us, without a reservation. Despite this, they welcomed us with the utmost courtesy and offered us excellent dishes at a very competitive price. I will definitely return and recommend it.

30/11/2025: Invited by friends, we reach the restaurant: after an endless search for a parking spot (a fairly common occurrence in Trieste), we find ourselves in front of the place and... from the outside, we don't really get the restaurant vibe; it looks more like a bar! Upon entering, with the counter to the right and a table and chairs to the left, we're directed into the single dining room, furnished in a homely, rustic style in some respects, with seating for about thirty. The table setting is unpretentious, the water is sparkling, but the service is friendly and pleasant from the owner, who remains a character. The menu is scrumptious, featuring mostly seafood dishes with limited options for those who aren't seafood lovers. The food is presented in a homely manner, generous, and authentic. In our case, we were served appetizers (sardoni in savor, creamed cod, hand-cut cooked ham, scallops), two first courses (pasticcio al ragù and spaghetti with shrimp tails), and two second courses (mixed fried fish and sea bream fillet), finishing with a selection of classic homemade desserts (strudel, ricotta cake with berries, Nutella crepes). The bill, while acceptable for what we ate, was above expectations.

26/11/2025: A true Trieste osteria, the atmosphere is excellent, and the owner Andrea is very helpful and friendly. The food is simple and tasty, with no "decorations on the plate." The prices are below average. We'll be back soon 👍

30/11/2025: A very nice place to rest after a long journey. You can grab a bite to eat and a good cup of coffee. The staff is very friendly and speaks English fluently. Plus, they greet you with a friendly smile and bid you farewell for the rest of your journey.

06/05/2025: Locale molto carino, pulito e curato scovato grazie al classico passaparola. Accoglienza cordiale e simpaticissima. Ottima preparazione del personale in merito alla carta dei vini, alle materie prime e all'utilizzo delle stesse. Non essendo del posto ci siamo affidate a loro sia per la scelta dei piatti tipici locali che del vino ed era tutto eccezionale. Ottimo anche il rapporto qualità prezzo. Nulla da aggiungere. Super consigliato.

21/09/2025: I've been there several times and have been very satisfied every time. The food was delicious and the prices reasonable. But yesterday's visit was a disaster. "Oktoberfest" There was no kitchen. Just some kind of roast pork with fried potatoes. Which sounded perfectly fine, so I ordered it. But €35 for a small plate with a few chunks of lukewarm meat and some potatoes is a complete RUDE! I just felt sorry for the staff, who had to pay for their impertinence.
