We found ourselves in the area by chance. The pasta dishes were delicious. The main courses could be improved by adding a variety of side dishes.

If you are in the area, stop by. Nice place with an old-fashioned atmosphere, good dishes and a fair price. For two of us, we spent 30 euros for two mixed starters (cold cuts, cheese, peppers in oil and olives), three second courses (sausages and sautéed broccoli), wine and water.

ON OUR RETURN TO MARATEA WE CONTACTED THE ESTABLISHMENT AT 2.25 PM AT THE PONTECORVO EXIT ASKING IF IT WAS STILL POSSIBLE TO EAT GIVEN THE SCHEDULED CLOSING TIME AT 3.00 PM, THE COURTEOUS OWNER WAITED FOR OUR ARRIVAL AND DELIGHTED US WITH CLASSIC FIRST COURSES OF ROMAN CUISINE, CARBONARA, MATRICIANA AND A MUST-HAVE RAGÙ, BEEF CUTLETS WITH VERY SOFT MEAT AND FRESHLY CUT AND FRIED CHIPS A BOTTLE OF WATER ACTUALLY AND A HALF MINERAL SMOOTH AT A WONDERFUL PRICE OF 28 EUROS, WHAT CAN I SAY? I WILL TRY TO RETURN AS SOON AS WE ARE BACK THERE AGAIN

Welcoming place, simple and authentic dishes. Super fair prices. Truly reminiscent of the trattorias of yesteryear. The extremely kind waiter pampered us from start to finish, always accommodating our every request with a smile. Highly recommended! Especially if you look at the essence and not the appearance.

I was here this evening with friends... Simple and cozy place, very kind and friendly staff. Generous and tasty homemade dishes, very reasonable prices... We had a lovely evening, and we'll be back with real pleasure!
