08/03/2026: This place has been a regular stop for breakfast and lunch for over ten years during our motorcycle tours in the area. Now the prices have skyrocketed for the area.

02/03/2026: After a beautiful, allegorical day with floats and confetti, we ended up on "Candid Camera"! Sunday evening, they seated us in a small room and served us a "Mrs." It was unclear whether she was there, acting, or in a state of agitation. The portions arrived cold and incorrect, so we ate a little, then quickly and quietly left. Never again! EXTREMELY high prices.

09/01/2026: Luckily, I discovered this wine shop. Compared to other wine shops and wine bars in Piacenza, I can say without a doubt that it's the best. I'd say Andrea is the ultimate local wine expert. I particularly appreciated his endless knowledge of France and Northern Italy. It's clear he has a passion to spare. As for the wine shop, it's become my go-to wine shop. The selection is vast and includes both famous and renowned labels as well as high-quality niche labels. I've personally purchased both premium and standard bottles: the prices are very competitive, comparable to what you'd find online. As for the wine bar, I highly recommend this place for short aperitifs/aperitif dinners (the place closes at 10 pm). The atmosphere is relaxed and perfect for a leisurely tasting. Excellent service, complete with explanations of the wines and their origins. As for the food, I highly recommend the Fassona tartare, Culatello, and Vitello tonnato: excellent quality ingredients, superb preparation, and market-leading prices. The only advice I can offer for now, considering myself only an amateur wine enthusiast, is to explore the already excellent selection of Super Tuscan wines (I realize these aren't wines for everyday use 😁). That said, kudos to Andrea for continuing to offer a gem in Piacenza!

07/02/2026: A good value pizzeria. The Margherita pizza is very good, but I didn't like the 4 cheese, cherry tomato, and onion pizza very much.

12/09/2025: A quick stop before lunch, and after spending the morning up and down Pillerone on our mountain bikes, we were very hungry. We decided to stop at this trattoria for an aperitivo with gnocco fritto, cured meats and cheeses, and fresh Ortrugo. Everything was delicious, with typical Piacenza flavors, but the portions were really small for seven people. Don't waste your time trying a few extra slices! Nice location, limited parking. 11/09/2025: Thanks to a couple of friends from Piacenza, Alois and Luisella, we discovered this delightful place, nestled in the countryside between Rivalta Castle and Rivergaro. Exquisite dishes, typical of the area, especially the various types of pasta (anolini, tagliatelle, pisarei, etc.), all homemade, not to mention the fried mushrooms and many other delicacies. Every time we return, it's a feast for the taste buds! Well done to everyone, from the managers to the waitresses.

27/12/2025: Dinner with friends on the Friday evening before Christmas. VIP treatment, top-quality dishes. We ate and drank truly well. The staff were courteous and professional. My only complaint was that the salami was absolutely not up to par with Piacenza's typical taste and texture. I think it might have been better not to serve it so soft and flavorless. My only complaint on a wonderful evening. The bill was absolutely reasonable for what we ate and drank.

19/02/2026: Remember those old-fashioned pastry shops? It feels like stepping back in time. I had a hot chocolate with cream and a coffee. Everything was excellent.

25/01/2026: For over 60 years, this pastry shop has served my family admirably in a welcoming setting. Despite changing management many years ago, it fortunately maintains the same delicious recipes for pastries, which I particularly recommend: beignets with Chantilly cream and chocolate, all the cannoncini, cream, zabaglione and cream, meringues with cream, a delicious sponge cake, cream and strawberries, and a delicious millefeuille, all accompanied by professional service... and again, thank you all! Where there's Galetti, there's home ♥️

16/06/2025: Agriturismo in una piacevole zona collinare circondato dal verde. Siamo stati in settimana e quindi trovato un ambiente particolarmente tranquillo, accomodati in una bella saletta con pareti in sasso. Il menù proposto offriva piatti della cucina piacentina, ben preparati e con dosi generose. Una degna conclusione con un semifreddo servito con cioccolato caldo ed inoltre una profusione di pasticcini e monoporzioni per tutti i gusti.

11/06/2025: L’eccellenza esiste e grazie ad un mio collega Cristiano, che oltre ad esser un grande amico e collaboratore, è anche un intenditore di buon cibo, buon vino, e cultore di ristoranti belli, mi ha fatto conoscere l’esistenza di questo agriturismo, che oltre ad essere in una bella posizione collinare, ha la piacevole capacità di servirti delle portate ottime ed abbondanti, di prima qualità con specialità della cucina tipica piacentina. Senza parlare del vino, che in queste zone fa il padrone. Dagli antipasti ai primi ai secondi, ed ai dolci, tutto rigorosamente fatto in casa, non si può che essere felici per aver mangiato in un posto così bello. Esiste anche la possibilità di dormire in camere molto belle, con la pace di un paesaggio circostante che ti lascia incantato.
