I go in and say: "Good morning" — no response. I ask: " Do you sell bus tickets?" — total silence... maybe she was too busy with the coffee ☕️ she was preparing for her breakfast, who knows! I repeat: "Miss, good morning, do you have tickets to sell?" — finally he turns and answers me, more or less: "Can't you see I'm busy?". In my opinion, this person really shouldn't be a bartender." In the end I go out, leaving her calmly to finish her breakfast, without taking the ticket...

10/10/2024: At lunch on a snowy day with my son and two friends, we enjoyed a warm and relaxing atmosphere. Good food, friendly staff, reasonable price for what was offered. Returning after years I re-appreciated the atmosphere, the genuine food and the friendliness of the manager. I don't understand the negative reviews.

31/12/2024: Fantastic bar. I stumbled upon it by chance and I have to say that I was treated very friendly by the staff who I also found very helpful. If I find myself in the area again I will definitely go back.

01/04/2025: A small and simple place, which produces small and simple confectionery goodness. Unfortunately we ended up here not long after opening hours, so consequently the miniatures were limited, but this minute tasting was enough for us to understand that there is a lot of quality in every single product of the pastry shop. Not only for the pastries, but also for the croissants: even if slightly flaky, they had a truly delicious dough, as did the cream fillings. It's a shame that the gentleman at the counter seemed particularly annoyed by the working hours, given that we happened to receive multiple replies bordering on the annoyed. He has probably been carrying on this business for many years, but a little kindness never hurts, especially when accompanying sweets. Having also glimpsed various flavors of ice cream, perhaps I will return to this small place again to discover new flavors to take home.

22/03/2025: We came here to eat Tette delle monache, a dessert that I had never tried but I had heard so much about it. What can I say, a real discovery, I don't like desserts, but these were divine. Absolutely high quality. I hope to return to try their other products.

23/02/2025: For the fried gnocco, it is the best I have eaten in the 5-star Piacenza area, dry and tasty with its cold cuts (too bad there are few). The menu card has no prices, the bottled wine is very expensive at €18, exaggerated.....1 star for the bathrooms outside the restaurant in the cold and without soap and hygiene.

26/01/2025: “La Perla” is a place with really honest prices: a margherita for 6 euros and the more elaborate pizzas for around 9, perfect for those looking to save money. The staff are very helpful and attentive, and the service is definitely a plus. Unfortunately, the place does not impress with its appearance, which is a bit neglected and not very welcoming. Even the pizza, despite the quality tomato, is not entirely convincing in terms of flavour, which could be stronger and the mozzarella. Overall, it's fine for a cheap and quick meal, but there's definitely room for improvement.

15/09/2024: Nice food with many options available including vegan/vegetarians. Atmosphere a little cold but great staff who were willing to fit us in last minute.

09/03/2025: we found ourselves by chance at the elves' hostel, we were welcomed in a very friendly and nice way. We had lunch, and I must say that it was all very good and the portions were truly satisfying! absolutely recommended!
