19/06/2025: The food was absolutely to my taste: strong flavors, very well seasoned, cooking like my grandmother's, recipes that are no longer found (rabbit cacciatore and even pigeons). It is not for vegans and it is not for lovers of nouvelle cuisine (does it still exist?). Rustic atmosphere (eat outside if the weather permits). The only flaw, despite the abundant portions, the cost was quite high (around 40 euros per person), perhaps we should not have taken a first course, second course, side dish and dessert.

A very beautiful and welcoming room, lots of courtesy and a table service of true excellence. Excellent dishes, well presented and really abundant. After an appetizer and a first course we were already full and satisfied to have been able to taste an excellent cuisine that honored our appetite. The prices are honest and the quality of what was served to us is undisputed. For this reason, with this review, we want to heartily recommend "Il Toscano" to those who want to have an excellent meal.

Also recommended for those who during the summer are looking for a bit of cool to dine given the excellent position of the terrace. Absolutely normal prices ... Recommended!!!

17/06/2025: My son is celiac so finding a pizzeria in the province of Forlì is not easy, there are 3. We saw an online ad where they promoted gluten-free pizza. We wanted to try it and we were not satisfied. At 6:30 pm on a Wednesday there were only us and to have 4 pizzas of which 2 gluten-free we waited more than 50 minutes in total. In addition, my wife's gluten-free pizza was half the size of the others and we sent it back. My gluten-free pizza had a hole in the dough and my non-celiac daughter's pizza was brought gluten-free. Furthermore, they have a new ordering system that they did not know how to use and they asked us 3-4 times to confirm the order at different times. The place is historic but the management has changed. If you want to eat a good pizza (with or without gluten) find another place.
