05/03/2026: I'd often promised myself I'd stop by this place as I passed by, and finally, I did for a quick break before returning to Milan. It was an excellent choice. The Offering and Quality The quality of the piadinas and ingredients is top-notch. The real strength is the dough: based on a historic recipe, it's incredibly light and digestible, a key aspect for those looking for a quick meal that won't weigh them down for the rest of the day. In addition to eating there, I purchased some empty piadinas to take home, a sign that the product holds its own even outside of the restaurant. The Service The owner proved to be extremely kind and knowledgeable. She didn't just serve, but also answered my every question with precision, providing excellent suggestions that demonstrate a deep knowledge of the product and a passion for her work. Atmosphere and Attendance The place is very popular with both locals and visitors, a sign of the consistent quality of the service. It's a classic example of how authenticity and attention to detail always prevail over more commercial or pretentious offerings. In summary If you're looking for a piadina that respects tradition, with select ingredients and excellent digestibility, this is the place. I'll definitely be back.

08/03/2026: I was here for a Sunday lunch with friends. The restaurant is located in the heart of the village of Bertinoro, beneath a panoramic terrace, so you can enjoy a beautiful view from the restaurant! 🤩 The restaurant is typically Romagna-style, as you can see from the menu in dialect, which unfortunately has also been switched from paper to digital with a QR code. The pappardelle with duck sauce and the cheese tasting were very good. Unfortunately, I give the service a bad rating, because I was particularly annoyed by the waiter/head waiter who dared to sing "Hallelujah" as soon as we left the table because we were the last to leave! 👎🏼

25/02/2026: I've been a couple of times, and whenever I want a delicious pizza, I always go there. A very welcoming place, the owners are very kind and attentive to their customers' needs. I recommend everyone go at least once... because if you try it, you'll definitely be back!!!

05/01/2026: We ordered takeout for dinner, which we had in our campervan at the rest area in front of the restaurant. Initially, we were planning on ordering a simple pizza, but then we saw their website, which specifies that they also do takeout for fish dishes, so we gave it a try. It was truly a wonderful discovery; we never would have thought we'd be able to enjoy such a dinner in the comfort of our campervan. We ordered a portion of mixed fried fish, a mixed grilled fish, and a rosemary flatbread. We ordered one portion of the fried fish, worried it wouldn't be enough for two, since I love it. When we saw the portion, we were amazed at the size; it was truly generous (much to my delight). The grilled fish was also very rich and cooked perfectly. By the end of the dinner, we were more than full, and everything was cooked and seasoned beautifully. Everything was arranged in aluminum trays, and they were very kind to even provide us with a cardboard crate (the one used for fruit) to put everything in for easy transport back to the campervan. A truly excellent experience. Next time we return, we'll be happy to stop directly at the restaurant. Truly excellent service.

10/12/2025: I discovered Macanin tonight for the first time. My only regret is that I didn't discover them sooner. I loved it. The light, almost biscuity dough was delicious and crunchy. Obviously, if you like thin-crust pizza. The toppings were really good, and the people were kind and friendly. A wonderful discovery. See you soon! 👋😃 Eugenio.

01/03/2026: From the moment I started eating, the waiters circled the table like vultures, demanding to clear my plate away. While I was "swallowing" my first course, my second course had already arrived. After lunch, I left the table for 10 minutes, and they started clearing away silverware, plates, placemats, and almost even my chair. I was shocked and offended by this behavior, and it left a nasty mark on me.

19/02/2026: It's a business hotel restaurant, so the decor faithfully reflects the restaurant's focus. The dining room is very large with plenty of seating, but given the crowds, it's best to reserve a table so you don't have to wait if you arrive late. The dishes are good, with generous portions. I was impressed by the side dishes; they rarely serve such a generous vegetable platter. The service was quick, and the wait staff were very friendly and helpful. Good value for a business lunch.
