02/08/2026: When I travel between Vicenza and Arezzo (my hometown and my work location), I often take the E45 to avoid the terrible traffic on the A1, and I stop whenever I can. There aren't many seats inside, but they've always found me a table, and in winter, the atmosphere is very comfortable. The staff is kind and welcoming, the pizza is good, and the other dishes are also excellent, with a focus on seasonal ingredients (the blackthorn mushrooms I tasted in May, for example, are excellent). So, if I pass through Bagno di Romagna during dinner time, stopping at this place has become a pleasant habit.

08/08/2026: I'm sorry, but this time the experience didn't convince me. I found the flavors unbalanced: the mushroom dish, in particular, was very acidic and lacking in harmony. Even the pigeon, served extremely rare, was difficult for me to eat, to the point of making me feel nauseous. I also didn't particularly appreciate the choice to serve microfiltered water instead of bottled, in a setting of this caliber. It's probably a matter of personal taste, but given my expectations and the restaurant's caliber, I expected a more balanced and satisfying experience. I'm sorry, because I appreciate the research and technique, but this time it didn't work for me.

17/07/2026: If you don't know it's there, you won't stop by, and that's a shame because the food is excellent, and the service is professional and friendly. Tagliatelle with wild boar ragù is epic. Nettle ravioli with ragù is worthy. The charcuterie and cheese platter is excellent, with crostini and giardiniera, and a fresh local cheese you must try. This place is worth going out of your way to visit. Highly recommended.

24/05/2026: A trattoria for its atmosphere, a restaurant for its menu. Right in the center, but it aims to convey the mountains and the surrounding woods. Tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, plentiful and well-sautéed. Vegetables are fresh as they should be. Dessert straight from the fridge. Staff are friendly but very brisk. You'll get through it quickly.

21/06/2026: We had lunch today, two adults and an 8-year-old girl. Everything was delicious: homemade traditional local recipes with generous portions at a great price! The service was informal in a historic restaurant. The terrace overlooking the valley was beautiful. Highly recommended!

28/03/2026: We had lunch here today... I have to say I was hesitant because of the snow, but the roads were clear, so everything was fine, and the lake with the snow... was spectacular. We had an aperitif on the veranda. Then we preferred to stay inside, but we could also eat on the veranda because it was heated and comfortable. The place is welcoming, in a single room, and everything was clean and tidy. The bathrooms are spacious and clean, there's a bathroom for disabled people, and there's even a changing area for the little ones. We had two vouchers for two people, Tippest. We started with a platter of cold cuts and cheeses... everything was delicious. Then we had a choice of first course, and we had tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and lasagna with porcini mushrooms and sausage. Everything was superb, not to mention the tagliatelle with potatoes!!! Excellent!!! We also wanted to try the lamb chops, and they were also superb. To top it all off, the berry cheesecake they made. We had a great time. We'll definitely be back!

28/06/2026: There were three of us eating here, and we were just passing through and didn't know the town or the restaurant. We ate really well, really nothing to complain about. Highly recommended!

17/07/2026: After years away from Cesena and Ravenna for work, we returned home and found our friends Elena, Luca, and family as if it were yesterday: the usual warmth, helpfulness, courtesy, tasty and authentic dishes, and fast service. All in a wonderful oasis of peace and tranquility, surrounded by greenery with a view of the lake. Highly recommended, without fear of contradiction. Try it and believe it.
