05/08/2025: This is our second time here in a month. Both times, we went for lunch and had the all-you-can-eat menu for €13.90. The girl under 1.20 meters paid half price. All the dishes were very interesting, and above all, there were no order limits. Simple but light uramaki, with a small amount of rice (though well-cooked, high-quality, and light), allowing you to appreciate the fish inside. Crispy tempura, delicious sashimi, and Thai dishes worth trying (the shrimp curry was fabulous). Ordering is easy with the tablet provided. There's a wide selection of beers and drinks at affordable prices. The coffee is also excellent and only €1.10. The manager even gave us fortune cookies at the end, along with a small gift for the girl. Top value and excellent service. It was and remains the best sushi in Ferrara. We'll be back soon 😊

02/08/2025: We arrived for lunch and asked for the dinner menu but it was the poorest dinner menu we have ever seen and it was all salty... the wine arrived without glasses😄... I absolutely do not recommend it

02/08/2025: Seven of us stayed in Ferrara for one night. We booked this place on the recommendation of our host, and among the recommendations, we couldn't have chosen better. The atmosphere is beautiful and refined, with a real olive oil mill inside. The food is excellent...we all had the cappellacci with ragù, which were truly amazing. The appetizers were truly delicious, from the beef carpaccio to the creamed cod, and the serving temperature was perfect, and the bruschetta was truly delicious. The dinner concluded with various desserts, none less than a 10. Excellent value. The owner was extremely kind, as was the waitress. Highly recommended if you're visiting Ferrara for a positive culinary experience.

24/08/2025: After traveling more than 50 km for dinner, they had no room and sent us away. Totally negative experience.

22/09/2025: Sunday lunchtime, we got a table right away without a reservation. The fried fish and blecs with eel, two desserts, wine, and water were truly delicious! The staff were friendly, fast, and attentive. Excellent, I'll definitely be back!

11/09/2025: We visited for lunch for the first time and had a very positive experience. The restaurant is tidy, bright, and well-maintained, with a pleasant atmosphere that makes for a pleasant stop. The menu is extensive and varied, with dishes ranging from sushi to Chinese specialties. The dishes are beautifully presented and made with fresh ingredients, with a quality that shines through in both appearance and taste. The service was quick and attentive. The staff was courteous and available to clarify any questions about the menu, helping to make the lunch experience smooth and hassle-free. The price-quality ratio was also adequate, commensurate with what's on offer. A first-time experience that left a great impression on us and will certainly inspire us to return.

13/07/2025: This is the second time I've passed through Ferrara and stopped at this osteria, for a reason that's often overlooked: the certified gluten-free cuisine! Excellent quality, a wide selection that largely reflects the "normal" menu. I enjoyed the pumpkin cappellacci with melted parmesan and guanciale, even in the height of summer! I'm always happy to find places like this with reasonable prices, where they understand that celiac disease isn't a fad and don't raise prices!

26/08/2025: The location is beautiful and the waiters are very kind. As a celiac, I was surprised to be able to eat the bread they brought to my table (not to be underestimated). The food was really good and we didn't have to wait long. The portions are quite large and reasonable for the prices. I will definitely be back!!

17/08/2025: Great gluten-free focaccia! No cross contamination, wide variety of options. 15 minutes walk from the historic center.

27/09/2025: The grilled meat seemed a bit dry. The staff was friendly but not particularly professional. The Wi-Fi didn't work well inside.

03/10/2025: Elaborate and original dishes, as you'd expect from a restaurateur who knows his craft. Beware of the surly and unfriendly welcome from the lady at the entrance.

27/09/2025: Trattoria Il Sorpasso in Ferrara. Highly recommended! The food is truly excellent, tasty and carefully prepared. The staff is very welcoming and makes you feel right at home. A special thanks to the ladies serving tables: kind, smiling, and truly exceptional! Congratulations for everything, I'll definitely be back!

17/10/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance, just passing through Ferrara on our way to Padua. On the way back (lunchtime), we stopped at Nonno Papero. And here's the pleasant discovery: a fixed-price menu. A variety of dishes. Tasty, and made with excellent quality ingredients. We'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu 😋
