The food was fantastic, the service was very attentive, extremely courteous, and friendly. The ambiance was unique and historically very interesting. We received a complimentary welcome drink and digestif – both delicious and special. Highly recommended!

What a little jewel, away from the tourist areas of the city. The staff were attentive, the food excellent and the atmosphere so wonderful and different from the restaurants in the busy areas. We were made to feel very welcome by the staff and owner, who was there every night - we went back twice after our first visit. I can’t recommend this place enough and would give 6 stars out of 5 if I could.

Last restaurant of our stay in Venice, an incredible discovery: super friendly service, complimentary aperitif and digestif. To discover Venetian gastronomy, I highly recommend the Venetian menu. Be warned, you need a strong stomach! On my next trip, it will be my first stop!!

Best restaurant in all of Venice! The owner is welcoming, the waiters are gracious, the food is excellent... Moreover, it's the last truly Venetian restaurant, a veritable paradise!

Absolutely fantastic, incredibly comfortable, it's a proper restaurant. It's warm and inviting, and the food is amazing. I highly recommend the duck pizza... delicious and so unique. Plus, the table had a view of the canal. It couldn't be better, and for what it offers, it's incredibly affordable.

11/04/2026: Definitely this restaurant is underrated! Not a tourist trap, all local vibes… I have been in Venice twice and both times I’ve been there. All food is good quality and taste. And also the ambience is like authentic Venice vibe! After I see another restaurants which are around 4,7-4,8.. This should be more!
08/04/2026: The best restaurant we ate at in Venice. The atmosphere is fantastic, the waiter speaks a little French and is always smiling. You feel right at home in this restaurant. We had the salmon with almonds, which was absolutely excellent! And the Venetian Liver was simply divine. When you leave, you can't eat anything else because it's not only incredibly delicious, but also very generous portions! Plus, the background music of Jimmy Sax adds to the charm of the place. A must-try!

24/03/2026: Another recommended restaurant which I didn't really get. QR code for menu and couldn't get it to work...felt a bit rushed into ordering. Didn't have side dishes explained to me so I just had a main course which didn't come with much veg. Had bass which was actually really well done. But a bit of a weird table set up...sat between two couples on a 6 seater table arrangement and felt a bit of a lemon tbh and that I was imposing on their space. Other foid coming out looked great...its just a bit of a strange set up if you're a solo traveller. Felt as if the staff didn't really want a single person there taking up space ...just the vibe I got. Was happy to get up pay the bill and be off. A bit expensive for what I had but not madly so. Just not my thing but I'm sure others will find it perfectly good.
15/03/2026: Recommended by the 2026 edition of the Rough Guide. We weren't disappointed. The clientele, mainly Italian students and regulars, gives it an authentic character, a far cry from sad tourist traps. Cheerful and helpful staff, quick service, and generous portions. They serve traditional Venetian cuisine.
