26/09/2025: We stayed at La Maison De Filippo and it was an unforgettable experience. 🌟 We ate divinely: the authentic flavors of the Aosta Valley tradition won us over from the first course to the last. We started with a rich and authentic platter of cured meats and cheeses, followed by a creamy and enveloping polenta with fontina cheese and butter, a true mountain treat. The traditional soup warmed our hearts with its intensity, and we finished on a sweet note with a delicate and surprising honey ice cream. The service is impeccable, attentive but never intrusive, and the typical Aosta Valley atmosphere is welcoming, warm, and meticulously crafted: you immediately feel at home. A place that combines authenticity, quality, and hospitality: a must-try if you want to experience the true Aosta Valley!

21/09/2025: Excellent welcome, kind and helpful, great vegetarian menu selection (I had requested this when booking). Kudos to the chef for his care and creativity! Spotlessly clean rooms, like the entire hotel. Excellent location and view, generous breakfast and dinner :) Thank you all, we'll be happy to return!

20/09/2025: My wife and I stayed here from September 11th to September 20th. It was a charming place. The family-run property was always attentive to our requests. The dining room staff were extremely kind. We had both lunch and dinner there very satisfyingly. The room was always tidy. Definitely recommended.

17/09/2025: A little gem in the Alps! I've eaten with my family both in winter and summer! A winter evening with the snowcat or midday during snowfall is truly enchanting! In summer, relaxation and the pool are the order of the day! The food is truly delicious and the staff is friendly, even with children.

06/09/2025: I called to make a reservation and, after answering without even introducing the restaurant, I received a firm (and very rude) "no" with no further explanation, after which there was no answer to the call.

10/08/2025: There were four of us: some very good dishes. Some things to keep in mind: poor organization (is the family-run business partly to blame?); the Valdostan soup here is prepared without cabbage. I ordered a Valdostan-style rib steak: it's not specified that the size of the rib steak can vary greatly (but the price doesn't). Always ask: you risk overpaying for a dish or wasting food.

05/10/2025: We found it by chance during a motorcycle tour in the Aosta Valley, where we enjoyed the region's specialties: crostini with Arnad lard and carbonada. Everything was excellent, and the prices were reasonable.

14/11/2025: We stopped for lunch after a walk; the place was very clean and welcoming. The staff was super professional; the waiters regularly checked to make sure everything was OK at the table and were always ready to replace cutlery or bread. Excellent food, well-balanced value for money. I recommend trying the Goose.

06/11/2025: We had lunch on Sunday at Osteria dell'Oca and it was a truly excellent experience! The cured meats were fresh and tasty, accompanied by delicious, well-selected cheeses. The polenta and carbonada were simply exquisite, dishes rich in flavor and perfectly balanced. The Valpellinese soup was also truly excellent, warm and comforting, as authentic Valdostan cuisine should be. Welcoming place, friendly staff, and quick service. A place where you can sense the care and passion for good food—highly recommended! 👏🍷🍽️

03/11/2025: Excellent in every way, truly! I looked for days for a place to eat in Aosta, and after dozens of restaurants I chose this one, and I couldn't have made a better choice! Excellent food, I had the crespelle, the fondue, and a meat dish that I don't remember the name of but I'll leave a photo. Each thing was better than the last! The place is also really beautiful. I can't wait to go back, I left my heart here!

03/11/2025: I had lunch at this restaurant, just steps from the Porta Pretoriana in Aosta. The staff was friendly but not always emphatic; a smile wouldn't hurt. The location was simple, a bit spartan, and not particularly original considering its location. The food was good, though the presentation of some dishes was a bit sloppy. The price was average for the area.

10/10/2025: The waitress with the straight hair and glasses was pissed off. She never smiled; it could have been a nice meal. When we asked for another dish, she was funny. Compliments to the chef, the food was good. Thanks to the chef.

14/09/2025: A typical small restaurant that can be quite noisy when crowded. My husband and I had their mixed platter and a lard, chestnut, and honey platter. The honey and the lard, chestnut, and honey combination were absolutely excellent. Afterwards, we had gnocchi with cheese fondue and lamb. The gnocchi plate was excessively covered in fondue, but really, a lot. The gnocchi were quite drowned. Overall, good.

10/10/2025: We had lunch at Gisa restaurant on a weekday. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming. Fast service, excellent food, and generous portions.

05/10/2025: Classic mountain atmosphere, pleasant and comfortable. Friendly staff, kind and friendly owner. Truly tasty traditional dishes. Recommended!

14/09/2025: Excellent appetizer The venison steak with blueberry sauce deserves a review (the steak was already soaked in its own cooking sauce, which masked the flavor of the meat). Medium-high prices Good, courteous, and fast service.

05/04/2025: Frequento La Thuile da 20 anni, al Pepita non ero mai venuto da quando è diventato ristorante perché mi ricordava il pub messicano che c’era fino a qualche anno fa. Devo assolutamente ricredermi! Il miglior tagliere di salumi e formaggi mai assaggiato in Valle D’Aosta , agnolotti ripieni di prosciutto di sanità marcel al lemon grass eccezionali, carni di grande qualità. servizio professionale. Complimenti!

08/03/2025: We went here as a party of ten, comprising all f two families with four teens. It was very busy and we had a few minutes wait for our reserved table (which was good as some of us were running late). The one disappointment was that they did not serve pizzas in the evening, which is a little odd in an Italian restaurant that has “pizzeria” in its name! I’m not sure what the cut off time is but we were sitting down after 9:30pm. The food we did order was all very good and well received. The wine too was good quality. Recommend.

16/09/2025: A very welcoming hotel located just after the Crest cable car in a quiet area, a pleasant walk into town. The owners are extremely kind and always available, and their welcome and hospitality were exquisite. We had a wonderful time in every way. The recently renovated room was beautiful. The food was excellent, from breakfast with a wide selection of sweet and savory options to dinner, both served in the panoramic and welcoming dining room. Convenient parking is available, and a small, private spa is available for a fee.

06/08/2025: "I had a fantastic stay at this PET-FRIENDLY hotel! 🐾🏨 The staff was smiling, kind, and helpful; even our dog was welcomed like a member of the family. 🐶 The location is perfect for nature hikes, with trails starting directly from the hotel and breathtaking scenery. Great for families, close to the center, and convenient for reaching mountain refuges! But the real highlight of this hotel is the food! The restaurant serves delicious and creative dishes, with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The breakfast was superb, with sweet and savory options. 🍰🥞 Highly recommended!!!!!!!!!!

05/07/2025: Non saprei descrivere con le parole la bellezza di questa baita. È impossibile raccontare con quanta cura il proprietario ha arredato e curato ogni angolo. L’atmosfera che si respira va oltre il singolo suppellettile che sia il coniglietto appoggiato sul davanzale o i fiori che addobbano le finestre. Tutto è perfetto, bisogna esserci per apprezzarne il contesto. Magnifica è la camera, anch’essa rifinita come tutto il resto e senza parole per il servizio offerto e per le deliziose marmellate fatte da loro.

16/03/2025: Dopo una bellissima ciaspolata siamo tornati alla baita per un buon vin brûlé e poi una magnifica cena. Abbiamo provato il menù degustazione. Una favola: abbiamo provato un po’ tutto quello che propone il menù. Piatti ricercati e molto buoni. Il tutto con un’atmosfera magnifica visto che fuori nevicava. Assolutamente da provare!

24/08/2025: This restaurant is one of my all-time favorites. Every time I go, I feel at home. The food is truly delicious, and Cristina and her entire staff are one of a kind, always smiling! It's one of those places where you know you'll never be disappointed; in fact, every time you leave, you want to return soon.
