05/10/2025: We found it by chance during a motorcycle tour in the Aosta Valley, where we enjoyed the region's specialties: crostini with Arnad lard and carbonada. Everything was excellent, and the prices were reasonable.

05/04/2026: My family and I went to this restaurant yesterday and it was absolutely spectacular; I recommend it one hundred percent. First of all, I'm celiac, and the safety measures were wonderful—gluten-free dishes and no risk for us. It's wonderful when you can enjoy a meal without worry; celiacs simply understand that. They also had a high chair for babies, which was also fantastic. The service was great, and the place was cozy and typical of the area. I loved everything about this restaurant, and that's why I felt I had to write this review because it was so worth it.

18/03/2026: We've been to this restaurant several times, always thoroughly enjoying the delicious dishes of Aosta Valley cuisine. The menu is very varied, and the cheese and dessert counters are well-stocked and appealing. The location is beautiful, especially the tavern downstairs. Service is impeccable, with prompt, attentive, and polite staff. The quality/price ratio is excellent, and portions are generous. This is a traditional, original, and refined restaurant, without being overly pretentious, with a very friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys wonderfully prepared traditional food at a truly reasonable price.
17/03/2026: A very welcoming place in a charming little square. Excellent service, delicious food, and a wonderful host. We especially enjoyed the delicious goose ravioli.

14/10/2025: A room with a nice sink, showers, and a newly renovated toilet. The only downside was the supposedly gluten-free meal, which made the next day difficult.
12/10/2025: We had lunch here today, delicious penne with ragu, then two eggs and a raspberry tart with homemade cream, everything delicious, not to mention the view and the place, absolutely magical.

20/03/2026: We've been planning this snowmobile evening for months, but unfortunately, despite the snowmobiles, we couldn't reach our destination. When we notified the owner of the inconvenience, we were told they weren't interested and that the deposit would be forfeited. We were a group of 16, so this kind of behavior, in our opinion, is unacceptable. The roads were impassable, which is indecent. That said, you've lost not only 15 customers, but many more because our publicity will be terrible. Furthermore, at the gas station below town, we encountered several people in the same situation as us. Shame!!!
24/02/2026: very good food, try the polenta concia and the tronc burger, quite fast service.

08/04/2026: Wednesday, April 8, 2026. I arrive early, at 11:30 a.m. I didn't make a reservation, and I know this place is popular... and deservedly so. Table 23... The view is splendid. Sheltered from the wind on the well-stocked terrace, everything is perfect. The staff is incredibly attentive; they speak excellent French, while my Italian is pitiful. I already don't want to leave. A nice cold Italian beer, my favorite dish (polenta with cheese and game—it's the end of the season, game might be a little scarce, but it doesn't matter). How I'd missed this dish. How I'd missed this place. An espresso, of course. €36. Time to leave, but my heart will stay here until next year (I hope). Forza Italia; even if it's volleyball... Arnaud C
08/04/2026: We received a very poor welcome. The staff were not at all friendly: no smiles, no warmth whatsoever. It really felt like they were only there for the money. We were barely seated before being given time to sit down or even look at the menu at our leisure. You practically had to know what you wanted to order before you even arrived. The dishes arrived in minutes, which only reinforced this feeling of being rushed. As soon as someone finished their plate, it was immediately cleared away, and we were offered dessert right away, without waiting for everyone to finish eating. Everything was rushed, making it impossible to enjoy the experience. The only positive points were the pleasant setting and the decent food.

07/04/2026: I always love coming back here because it's a restaurant that satisfies and satisfies again and again. Don't be fooled by the '70s-'80s-style entrance; in fact, it's a clear statement of intent, demonstrating that substance is king here. Don't miss the Monte Bianco steak, and before you get there, indulge in the Gisa platter. I'm sure that if you love Aosta Valley cuisine, you'll soon return, as we did.

08/04/2026: A restaurant with traditional decor, but also an innovative menu, very friendly service, and some truly superior dishes. Prices are reasonable for the quality, but in line with other restaurants in the area. Also suitable for families with children who are at least a little eager to experiment.
17/03/2026: The atmosphere and service was perfect, the food quality is also good :) we took our dog and he could have sit with us without any problem 🙂

25/02/2026: Nice place, a bit spartan but clean and well-decorated with real wood and lampshades depicting mountain landscapes. Efficient and friendly staff, quick service. Well-informed about gluten-free options. We had a delicious plate of lard with chestnuts and honey as an appetizer, followed by two polentas, one with venison and the other with carbonada, and a glass of red wine. Very sharp knives, perfect for cutting excellent pizzas. Very fair prices.
18/02/2026: On the excellent advice of our hostess, we ate at this restaurant in La Thuile last night. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend it.

07/04/2026: An almost memorable experience… especially considering the bill. Nothing particularly remarkable, except perhaps for the three medium-sized beer-lemonades at €8 each. At that price, you'd almost expect a nightclub atmosphere, or even a show included… but no, it's definitely a restaurant. In Italy, where this kind of drink usually costs between €3 and €5, the surprise is all the more delightful. Special mention also goes to their insistence on selling bottled water—a real sense of service… or profit, it's hard to say.

02/04/2026: Too bad, it had started well and initially seemed much better. Instead, after a good fondue, two pleasant but no-frills main courses, and two less-than-memorable desserts (the tiramisu was actually a bit rambling). On the other hand, the price proved decidedly disproportionate because, adding a half bottle of wine (24 euros!) and a bottle of water, we managed to reach 115 euros, and we didn't even bother to offer a small glass, which would have been just one because the other diner was underage.
20/03/2026: Excellent and well-prepared dishes, extremely slow service…..from the moment they sat us at the table and brought the first courses we ordered, more than 45 minutes passed……the bill was too expensive for a starter (reduced), a first course, a second course, a dessert, a grappa, and a small bottle of wine. We spent €96 and there were 2 of us……too much for everything in our opinion.

28/03/2026: Brasserie D’Entreves is one of those places you don’t expect to find. You walk through quiet, almost empty medieval streets, surrounded by stone houses and silence, and then suddenly you step inside and it is full of life. Warm lights, buzzing tables, locals and travelers all mixed together, and that feeling that you have discovered something real. The atmosphere is incredibly authentic, cozy and unpretentious, exactly what you want in the mountains. It feels like a place people actually come back to, not just somewhere made for tourists. The food is deeply traditional and absolutely delicious. This is the kind of menu where you want to try everything. The fondue selection is especially impressive, with multiple variations that each bring something different, rich, comforting and perfect after a day outside. Everything feels generous and honest, from the ingredients to the portions. It is not about fine dining perfection, it is about warmth, flavor and that very special alpine spirit. A place where you sit longer than planned, order one more dish than you should, and leave completely happy. Definitely one of those spots that stays in your memory.

12/04/2026: Extremely disappointed by the food. The polenta was undercooked, and the dishes were inconsistent. Even though there were 5 out of 8 of us who ordered the same set menu, we received 5 different variations. The fish was undercooked and too dry. This isn't the Valdostana cuisine I'm used to. Aside from the two young waiters who were attentive and friendly (thank you to them), the service was barely polite. We arrived a little early; the restaurant was open, but we weren't allowed to use the restrooms. We had to practically beg for a greeting, and then we were yelled at when our order arrived because we hadn't understood it.
12/04/2026: Don't forget the absinthe at the end, with its accompanying hammer blow to the head.

27/03/2026: I only slept one night. I was given room 204, which I booked on Booking. I barely slept a wink because of the uncomfortable bed. It was two small beds joined together instead of slats, two rigid wooden planks, and an 8 cm thick mattress, probably from the 1980s. I may not care about the furnishings, but at least I need a decent bed. After my complaint, the lady justified herself by saying they'll have to renovate, and I pointed out that buying a bed base and mattress doesn't require renovation. Anyway, it was a terrible room.

14/09/2025: We went for dinner on a Friday evening. The place is spacious, with plenty of seating, but the decor is a bit bland. We ordered a platter of cured meats and cheeses (the lard was very good, but the other cured meats were bland) and the bourguignon (tender and plentiful, with a variety of salted meats to accompany it). The bill wasn't exactly cheap (about €50 per person with wine).
09/09/2025: Excellent atmosphere and service, but disappointing value for money.
