07/01/2026: Exceptional! In a wonderful setting, in a cabin in the middle of the La Thuille slopes under a canopy of stars. We went up with snowcats and were welcomed with a hot and delicious mulled wine accompanied by appetizers. In the warm and welcoming interior, we had a wonderfully good dinner, excellently served by friendly and very professional waiters. Wines for all tastes and budgets, a well-stocked cellar. A truly beautiful evening. Oh, and I forgot, the snowcat drivers are crazy but very good at driving the vehicles that transport you up and down.

07/01/2026: A very cozy restaurant on the slopes, on the way to La Thuile. The food was delicious (spare ribs, ratatouille, spaghetti). The desserts were also delicious. The food is quite expensive, though. We sat outside on the terrace. As long as the sun is shining, it's a wonderful place to be.

05/10/2025: We found it by chance during a motorcycle tour in the Aosta Valley, where we enjoyed the region's specialties: crostini with Arnad lard and carbonada. Everything was excellent, and the prices were reasonable.

05/03/2026: I'll start by saying that I'm celiac and found the staff knowledgeable and very attentive. They offer a wide selection of excellent, gluten-free, local dishes! The tartiflette, venison chops, and fondue are excellent. The atmosphere is welcoming and the prices are fair. Right in the center of Aosta. I would definitely go back again!!!

21/02/2026: The food was very good; however, the service was very disappointing. I waited about an hour for my dish to be served. I later asked for an explanation for the delay, but received no response. Definitely unsatisfactory service.

18/03/2026: We've been to this restaurant several times, always thoroughly enjoying the delicious dishes of Aosta Valley cuisine. The menu is very varied, and the cheese and dessert counters are well-stocked and appealing. The location is beautiful, especially the tavern downstairs. Service is impeccable, with prompt, attentive, and polite staff. The quality/price ratio is excellent, and portions are generous. This is a traditional, original, and refined restaurant, without being overly pretentious, with a very friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys wonderfully prepared traditional food at a truly reasonable price.

17/03/2026: A very welcoming place in a charming little square. Excellent service, delicious food, and a wonderful host. We especially enjoyed the delicious goose ravioli.

14/10/2025: A room with a nice sink, showers, and a newly renovated toilet. The only downside was the supposedly gluten-free meal, which made the next day difficult.

12/10/2025: We had lunch here today, delicious penne with ragu, then two eggs and a raspberry tart with homemade cream, everything delicious, not to mention the view and the place, absolutely magical.

08/03/2026: I've been to this restaurant and had a really good time. The food was excellent, but the tagliatelle and polenta with guanciale were especially spectacular.

21/02/2026: We've been customers for years and return several times a year!!! Each time we leave satisfied with the food and even more so with the kindness and professionalism of the owner and staff. How wonderful to rediscover traditional local dishes! Today we had an excellent platter of local cured meats and cheeses, tagliolini with white ragù and black truffle, two wonderful slices of beef with Bleu d'Aoste, incredibly tender and with expertly measured cheese, perfect! To finish, a heavenly tiramisu and, not to be taken for granted, two excellent coffees served with traditional sweets. The place is, as always, very well heated, with a beautiful fireplace in the main room, as is the sunny wood-paneled dining room, and in the summer, two lovely outdoor seating areas complete the experience. A place without unnecessary frills, all substance. Please don't change a thing!!!

20/02/2026: Beautifully presented and delicious. Very nice setting. However, the service was far from satisfactory. They were pushy and pressured us to buy more: they insisted on a bottle of wine even though we had ordered three glasses, and then served us sparkling water without our order (which we refused). The waiters tapped my chair four times during our meal without apologizing. What a shame.

17/03/2026: The atmosphere and service was perfect, the food quality is also good :) we took our dog and he could have sit with us without any problem 🙂

27/02/2026: We made a reservation for four people on Friday at 1:00 PM. We walked slowly from the village with two elderly people, and when we arrived, the restaurant was closed and no one was answering the phone!! Despite our reservations, Edit: The restaurant even thought it wise to WhatsApp me and send me an audio message insulting me for the review instead of an apology.

25/02/2026: Nice place, a bit spartan but clean and well-decorated with real wood and lampshades depicting mountain landscapes. Efficient and friendly staff, quick service. Well-informed about gluten-free options. We had a delicious plate of lard with chestnuts and honey as an appetizer, followed by two polentas, one with venison and the other with carbonada, and a glass of red wine. Very sharp knives, perfect for cutting excellent pizzas. Very fair prices.

18/02/2026: On the excellent advice of our hostess, we ate at this restaurant in La Thuile last night. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend it.

12/01/2026: We stayed from January 7th to December 12th with two adults, two children aged 1 and 4, and a dog. There's no need for many words. If I could give 10 stars, I'd give it 11. Enchanting place, perfect staff, down to the smallest details. Services? Whatever you want to do related to the mountains and the season, you can do it. REAL cuisine, well-crafted with mountain flavors, excellent wine cellar, breakfast for all tastes, given the wide selection and always top-notch products. We'll be back again and again! I would recommend it to anyone, whether for a simple getaway of one or two nights or for staying several days. A special thanks to all the staff for their patience and impeccable professionalism, they made us feel at home. Matteo, Giorgia, Nico, and the little, fearless Mia!
