Truly unique evening! It starts with a walk with the snowcat and a view of La Thuille under the stars. You arrive at the hut and the welcome begins outside with canapé and mulled wine. Then you enter and the magic begins immediately. The environment is very beautiful, everything glitters and brings back days of celebration. The welcome is truly special: all the staff are kind, professional and always smiling. Raffaella takes us to the table and never neglects us, making us feel truly pampered. Excellent food. The raclette very good and the suckling pig superb. The quantities and accompanying side dishes are right. I appreciated having chosen my menu first. Really great evening!!! To redo

Splendid experience with courtesy, quality, truly top environment. Many menus it was a dinner in a cabin....excellent à la carte menu. Perfect quantities. The management of waiting times and courses was perfect. Really welcoming environment.

Riondet is an Aosta Valley excellence. I've wanted to go there since I saw him at 4 restaurants and unfortunately it took years. It's neither near nor far from Turin but the opportunity was missing given that when I ski I often don't stop long for lunch and in the summer when I go hiking I don't hang out much in the Little San Bernardo area. On the day I was there there was a huge influx of people and I can't say that the table service wasn't affected a little, however the food was excellent as I expected or even more so. The staff did everything possible to make the experience pleasant and always did so with a smile and great availability towards all customers. The chalet is in a fabulous location, and is beautiful both inside and out. In winter the Piccolo state road is completely submerged in snow and can only be reached on skis, on foot or by snowmobile. Every detail reflects the taste of the owner Maria Elena. Lots of wood, lots of art, lots of Aosta Valley craftsmanship. I had lunch on the terrace because the day was warm and sunny but I was able to see some interior design elements that entice me to return in another season. I really liked the menu which, respecting the Aosta Valley tradition, also brings to the table some ingredients such as Umbrian truffles or traditional Italian dishes. The game tagliatelle and Aosta Valley fondue were exceptional. The lunch bill was absolutely in line with the quality and quantity of what we ate. The Riondet is da.. diesci! ******* I find myself editing the review a year later. Always amazing food. I ate in the wonderful internal room, the service this time was absolutely impeccable. Among the dishes that my friends and I had brought to us, I would like to point out the half-metre platter of raw saint marcel. We chose it because we were skeptical that for €21 they would really bring us half a meter of ham. We were in fact convinced that the cutting board was half a meter but the slices no more than 4 or 5 or that the length of the slices would have been half a meter overall. To our amazement, however, we found a full half meter long cabaret with two levels of croutons covered with 12/15 nice long slices of ham on top. We were moved.

It is certainly an experience given the journey on the snowmobile to get there. Characteristic place, friendly and helpful staff. Good food, it's a shame that you have to choose menus before booking and they have to be the same for everyone at the table. Surely you go out eating too much, it wouldn't be bad to be able to order à la carte, but you understand the need to plan dinner given the difficult position for supplies. It starts from €120 for the menu and then drinks are added.

bel locale, tranquillo nel comprensorio della Thuile, un ambiente veramente unico nel genere che mette la ciliegina sulla torta ad una giornata di sci! cibo molto goloso, state attenti a non rotolare giù dalle piste!

Super halte en Italie sur le domaine San Bernardino. Je conseille la polenta aux trois viandes. Une merveille. Crémeuse à souhait et bonnes viandes. Pensez à réserver à l’avance pour la terrasse s’il fait beau ! Le service ce jour là était balbutiant…. Bcp de monde !

Caratteristico ristorante di montagna sulla strada che porta al passo del Piccolo San Bernardo. Possibilità di mangiare all'aperto o nelle caratteristiche salette interne. personale gentile e disponibile. Ottimi gli antipasti di salumi e formaggi valdostani, le costine di maiale alla senape, la polenta concia e la ratatouille di verdure. Molto buoni anche i dolci. Da ritornarci.

01/04/2024: If you visit Aosta it is forbidden not to stop here. By far the best place we ate in during the several days of our stay in the Valley. The place is typical and as you can see from the photos they reflect the typical nature of the tavern, there are many objects that they refer to the place where you are but the real gem of this place is the goodness of the dishes. Truly special and absolutely in line with the average price! We took the starter, first course, second course and dessert and I would take everything again because you will remember the delicacy for days and days.Super super super recommended
