Pizzeria La Palud In Courmayeur

I find barley coffee a small cup, costing 4 euros, excessive! Even the decaffeinated one, costing 3 euros, is a bit high for this type of establishment.

The setting is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking mountain views that make for a memorable dining atmosphere. We ordered the pizza and carbonara, but unfortunately the food was only average. The pizza lacked flavor and the crust was nothing special, while the carbonara was decent but fell short of being authentic or memorable. Overall, you’re paying more for the incredible scenery than the cuisine. Worth visiting for the view, but don’t expect an exceptional meal. Be aware of the 3€ per person seating fee

We dined at La Palud restaurant for four consecutive nights and it was a truly excellent experience. The quality of the dishes is excellent. The menu is varied and offers both traditional Aosta Valley dishes and meat and fish options. The pizzas also deserve special mention: very large and well-topped. The restaurant is truly beautiful, beautifully decorated in Alpine style with lots of wood, creating a warm and pleasant atmosphere. The staff is fantastic: always present, attentive, and very attentive to customers. It's very easy to get to, located on the main road from Courmayeur, and has convenient parking right in front of the restaurant. Prices are in line with local standards (so on the expensive side, with first courses starting around €20 and pizzas from €9 + Margherita), but absolutely justified by the quality of the food and service. It was a pleasure to spend the evenings in this beautiful restaurant, with regional foot dishes and, most importantly, impeccable service! It is very nice when the owner, Mr. Rocco, is constantly present to ensure the comfort and satisfaction of the customers. Thank you for the welcome, Svetlana and Rocco!

The food was delicious, and the pizzas and pasta tasted fresh and authentic. However, the restaurant was extremely crowded, so I highly recommend making a reservation. Without one, you might end up sitting in the hallway or near the entrance, just like we did. The waiting time for the food was much longer than expected. I also found the prices a bit high for what we ordered—two pizzas (Vegetarian and Margherita), a tomato spaghetti, and Coke came to €56. Overall, the food was good, but the long wait, limited seating, and prices made the experience less enjoyable.

This was the best pizza in Courmayeur. Also the risotto and pasta were excellent! Would love to come back.

I've eaten at much better Italian restaurants. Nothing noteworthy.
