A timeless atmosphere, where you're happy to enter, look up, and dive into a past that reminds you a little of your grandparents' house.
A warm, welcoming atmosphere... where you feel at home.
The friendly staff; being greeted with a smile makes you feel good.
The food was excellent, praiseworthy.
The quality of the expertly prepared ingredients, the wine excellent.
I'm unfortunately from Turin, but I'll be coming to Siena often, and I'll definitely be back with my partner to try other dishes.
Highly recommended.

01/01/2026: Food was OK but not hot enough. Seriously lacking green vegetables for some reason. Expensive and small portions. ‘Artisanal’ pannetone was dry, over priced and filled with lumps of chocolate which did not enhance it. Nice wine. Restaurant was cold as was the food. Not the best. Nice staff

The menu includes a few dishes, but they're all delicious, made with top-quality ingredients!
We finished the meal with a dessert prepared by the local pastry shop, but it was so good I didn't have time to photograph it 😋

staff made my birthday party wonderful!! A very well-kept venue, with a quiet and welcoming atmosphere. The waiters were professional, attentive, and helpful. The food was delicious and the kitchen was punctual.

10/03/2026: We basically had "our bed in the kitchen." That took some getting used to. There are certainly alternatives in that lovely little town.
03/12/2025: Beautiful B&B! The location is simply perfect, in the heart of the city and close to everything. The rooftop terrace is incredible, the perfect place to relax and enjoy the view. The rooms are tastefully decorated and truly welcoming. The owners are extremely kind and helpful, making you feel right at home. Without a doubt, the best place in town.

10/04/2026: This was surprisingly forgettable. Not awful or bad, just not memorable at all.
Our waiter was probably 14 years old. Really. It was cute because it's a family run place. When I asked him for a Brunello recommendation, he had an answer with confidence, but that wine turned out to be pretty whimsy (no body) especially for a Brunello. He spilled it when he poured, and had the social skills of an eighth grader, naturally.
Carpaccio was pretty good and quite generous. Bruschete was kind of bland. Margherita pizza was fair (by Italian standards). Pana Cotta was quite good.
We appreciated very much that they had about a dozen wines sold by the glass. Prices were reasonable.

26/02/2026: We discovered this place by chance for lunch, and we loved it so much we came back for dinner too 😍
The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, and the place was pleasant with lots of ceramics on the walls.
As a vegetarian, I often struggle to eat out because there aren't many options, but here I found more than one vegetarian option, and there are also vegan and gluten-free dishes!!
The ribollita, beans, and pappa al pomodoro were delicious.
My carnivorous companion really enjoyed the meat.
I highly recommend this place ♥️

15/06/2025: Buena ubicación. servicio razonable. muy ruidoso. comida mediocre. tenía costillas de cerdo que eran posiblemente las peores que he comido. embutidos italianos estaban bien, pero nada más allá de lo que uno compraría en un supermercado. la t - hueso / fiorentina también era apenas mediocre y yo diría que es un insulto al nombre del plato
Mejor prueba algo menos turístico

Solicite una mesa junto a la ventana al hacer su reserva o llegue temprano, espere afuera junto a la puerta principal y luego corra y tome una mesa junto a la ventana.
La comida era buena pero no excepcional.
Lo que no me gustó fue que no pudimos elegir el tamaño de nuestra bistecca toscana. Nos enseñaron un trozo de carne y cuando le dije a la camarera que era demasiado grande para nosotros, ella dijo que era eso. Así que, por supuesto, era demasiado grande para nosotros y terminamos dejando un montón de carne muy cara en nuestros platos.

07/04/2026: We tried to eat there twice. It was open with open tables and well before their closing time. We were traveling with two hungry children. We asked both days if we could have a table for 4- to which the lady just said “no.” Terrible service. Not welcoming at all. It felt prejudice like a couple other places we experienced in Pienza. Sad because we loved the town and wanted to support the businesses but were treated badly. We decided to leave pienza after two of these experiences.

The appetizers are especially good. The service is very friendly and the prices are reasonable.

22/03/2026: Lovely team, very friendly and attentive.
The food unfortunately was not the best. Even the tiramisu was a disappointment. Not made in the traditional way. The La Reine biscuits were too crunchy. I wouldn't mind if the prices were low but you pay a lot for the lack of quality. Also felt unwell after dining there.
23/01/2026: We ate here last night. The atmosphere was very subdued, with soft lighting and pleasant background music. We had the artichoke flan, the pici cacio e pepe, the cheek with mashed potatoes, and two different desserts...all delicious! I didn't use a knife to eat the cheek... The prices were more than reasonable. All "topped off" by a very kind owner who had already brought water for our dog in no time... Highly recommended!!!!

03/05/2026: While visiting Siena, we stopped here because the reviews were good. The experience wasn't great; the staff was friendly but poorly trained. The waiters were all foreigners who struggled to understand Italian. They got our order wrong twice, and the owner quickly resolved the issue. We probably stopped by for lunch during rush hour, but the service was poor. The dirty restrooms aren't a good sign. The food was good, and the wait was short. Overall, the rating was satisfactory.

15/07/2025: Vi fik anbefalet Pienza som udflugtmål. Vi kørte dertil og vi blev ikke skuffet. Super smuk og hyggelig sted og sikke en udsigt. Vi fandt denne lille restaurant og vi blev enig om at her skulle frokosten indtages, der var skygge. Vi valgte to forskellige traditionelle retter, begge vældig gode og velsmagende. Vi valgte en flaske hvidvin til, der var et godt udvalg af vine. Tjeneren denne eftermiddag var meget kompetent og tilstede.
12/07/2025: Abbiamo cenato qui due sere e ci siamo trovati molto bene. Dagli antipasti ai pici. Tutto squisito. Staff molto gentile e disponibile.
