03/12/2025: It wasn't a pleasant experience. The waiters were extremely kind and professional, the food was decent but the portions were overpriced and overly generous. But the thing that bothered us most was the sommelier, who, casually, offered us two bottles of Morellino. I only found out they cost ninety euros because I asked, otherwise I would have found a surprise on the bill. I asked him to bring us a bottle at a much lower price, and he returned with a sixty-euro bottle, which I accepted only because I didn't want to make another fuss and embarrass the person I was dining with. Afterward, clearly annoyed by our choice because he earned less, he behaved in a snobbish and subtly arrogant manner throughout the evening. When we said goodbye as we left the restaurant, he only gave us a half-hearted hello without even looking up. If it had been my restaurant and I had seen something like that happen, I would have fired him on the spot. I won't be returning.

16/11/2025: A decent bar, although it doesn't excel in anything. On other occasions, the service has been decidedly friendlier.

15/06/2025: Buena ubicación. servicio razonable. muy ruidoso. comida mediocre. tenía costillas de cerdo que eran posiblemente las peores que he comido. embutidos italianos estaban bien, pero nada más allá de lo que uno compraría en un supermercado. la t - hueso / fiorentina también era apenas mediocre y yo diría que es un insulto al nombre del plato Mejor prueba algo menos turístico

12/06/2025: La vista era la mejor que había tenido en un restaurante! Solicite una mesa junto a la ventana al hacer su reserva o llegue temprano, espere afuera junto a la puerta principal y luego corra y tome una mesa junto a la ventana. La comida era buena pero no excepcional. Lo que no me gustó fue que no pudimos elegir el tamaño de nuestra bistecca toscana. Nos enseñaron un trozo de carne y cuando le dije a la camarera que era demasiado grande para nosotros, ella dijo que era eso. Así que, por supuesto, era demasiado grande para nosotros y terminamos dejando un montón de carne muy cara en nuestros platos.

13/11/2025: A small, welcoming place. The menu includes a few dishes, but they're all delicious, made with top-quality ingredients! We finished the meal with a dessert prepared by the local pastry shop, but it was so good I didn't have time to photograph it 😋

24/06/2025: The breakfast needs improvement. We expected a farm with local products. Instead, we were offered none of that. The interior of the accommodation needs to be renovated! The location and the view are fantastic!

10/12/2025: I'd say awful... three adults were seated at a table in front of the door with a constant stream of people waiting their turn... we ordered a tagliata... stewed wild boar... and Sienese ossobuco... dessert and coffee, we opted for a coffee maker... the icing on the cake was the €97.00 bill with no receipt... what can I say!!!

09/12/2025: We're giving the food 3 stars because the meat was tender and the porcini mushrooms were flavorful. Otherwise, however, the execution of the dishes was disappointing: the tagliatelle were overcooked, the salad was truly sparse, and the bread seemed days old, not to mention it looked like it had already been passed around. The staff welcomed us, yes, but it was clear that the management was poorly coordinated. We waited a long time despite the waiters rushing around, not caring for their own tables. The atmosphere was also rather sad, and considering that neither the service nor the cuisine were up to par, we can only say we made a mistake in choosing to eat at Boccon del Prete.

04/08/2025: Fuldstændig fantastisk mad! Noget af det bedste hjemmelavet pasta, vi har fået i Italien. Så skøn, afslappende stemning og fantastisk betjening. Selvom vi havde vores 1-årige med, var der plads og overskud til det. De havde desværre kun åbent til frokost i weekenden, ellers havde vi været der flere dage i ugen!

16/07/2025: Increíble restaurante local con excelente pasta! Recomiendo la papardelle y los raviolis! El servicio es genial! Sensación acogedora y una cálida bienvenida.

09/12/2025: Excellent food. The only negative, in my opinion, was the service. We waited an hour between the appetizer and the main course, and when we asked if there would be a long wait, we were told, "You're the last table to arrive. You've eaten your appetizer, the main courses are coming out." It wasn't true that we were the last table to arrive because there was another table after us that had almost finished. We didn't really appreciate the response, in short, the bullshit they fed us. 😅 Otherwise, good.

31/10/2025: A traditional osteria in the heart of Siena, specifically in the Contrada dell'Istrice. Excellent food, authentic flavors in a casual atmosphere, all topped off by the friendly owner and staff.

08/11/2025: A very well-kept, welcoming place, with qualified and extremely friendly staff. Excellent, plentiful dishes. Prices are more than fair. We live far away, but when we're in the area, it's a regular stop. It's definitely worth it.

12/10/2025: Two and a half hours to eat an appetizer, two first courses, and a second course! Slow service, we were left as if we didn't exist. We didn't even see the waiters, they were so rude! We had to call them to have our plates taken away! People who came after us were served first! I won't be going back!

29/07/2025: All'inizio avevamo dei dubbi, visto che era l'unica soluzione vicino all'Abbazia. Invece ci siano dovuti ricredere, piatti spettacoli (pici all'aglione veramente buoni) e carne di alto livello cotta benissimo. Patate al forno saporite senza essere troppo salate. Purtroppo non abbiamo potuto prendere i dolci, ma ogni piatto mangiato era di livellio

29/07/2025: Dopo una visita all'abbazia ci fermiamo in questo ristorante proprio di fronte. Devo dire eccellente. Antipasto burrata, crudo e bruschetta. Pici all'aglione per mio marito, pasta in bianco per i bimbi, io passo direttamente al secondo. Due tagliate di controfiletto cotte secondo quanto richiesto, costine di maiale (che i bimbi hanno divorato). Contorno di patate al forno (mio figlio ha fatto il bis) e altro contorno di verdure . Prezzo adeguato alla qualità. Molto soddisfatti!

20/05/2025: In visita culturale a Pienza con Gruppo il Lions Club Soncino, abbiamo prenotato per tempo per 28 persone, ci è stata allestita una sala praticamente solo per noi, siamo stati accolti con il sorriso da parte di tutto il personale, simpaticissimi ed efficienti - predisposta tavolata a ferro di cavallo molto conviviale. Il Menù è stato concordato per un pranzo Light, in realtà pur avendo optato per una solo portata di carne "Tagliata di manzo ai 4 pepi con verdure grigliate" che ci è stata servita in dosi abbondanti con più passaggi, personalizzandola alle richieste di chi desiderava la stessa con o senza il pepe, chi l'ha preferita ben cotta piuttosto che al sangue.... insomma non ci sono stati problemi, sono stati carinissimi ed hanno esaudito tutte le richieste. Si è proseguito con il dolce Crostata con marmellata fatta in casa, davvero buona. Nota bene avevamo nel gruppo degli intolleranti ad alcuni alimenti ed una celiaca ed ed andato tutto bene senza alcun disturbo alimentare nei giorni a seguire. Tutti soddisfatti , consigliamo vivamente il Ristorante La piazzetta.

25/04/2025: Tutto appena discreto e qualcosa meno. Vale per i piatti che abbiamo mangiato e anche per il servizio. I servizi igienici sono molto puliti ma bisogna fare una rampa di scale per arrivarci.

28/07/2025: Quaint and rustic. We were looked after by the personable and very obliging and helpful Ivan. Our visit also included a wine-tasting of biodynamic wines. Perfect for a Steiner educated family 🥰 Morizo was our wine guide who schooled us on Brunello and Rosso. We are absolute philistines and knew nothing about this type of wine. So this added to our southern hemisphere repertoire of Pinot Noir and Barossa valley reds.
